It's a shame that the DLC for such a great game had to leave on such a value-less note, but hey, if you haven't beaten the main game, unlimited rocket ammo may just be worth seven bucks.

I can tell the game is really trying hard to be something fantastic, and maybe for the Russian side of the market, that's how things have actually turned out. For us Americans however, I'd recommend taking the money you might spend on this game, and instead blowing it on an awesome discount joystick (if you don't have one already) and copies of Freespace 2 and the Independence War series. I guarantee you'll have a superior experience.

For being developed by four people and with a purchase price of around the same amount in dollars, Foreign Legion is a worthwhile investment for some mindless fun.

I hoped this game would be full of schlocky, 50's style monster movie fun but it ended up being a tedious, strategy-less brawler.

The simple fact is that New Carnival Games is not an enjoyable game.

There are not as many games like this as there used to be, and hardly any that have the kind scope on display in War in the East. It is a good, very detailed example of the classic hex-based operational wargame.

Targeted for kids and is not an extremely difficult game, but it does have a lot of levels to master which does give it a longer gamelife.

Some kid games are fun for adults, Backyard Soccer is not one of those games but it is very well done game for younger kids.

With the large amount of areas Pipe Dreams 3D has plenty of gamelife, plus the game does get truly addictive after the first few times.

With slightly below average graphics loaded with jaggies, to the horrible carnival-like music this game is as hard to look at as it is to listen to.
