A Story About My Uncle is a first-person platformer with some good ideas and beautiful environments. The indie game uses a Portal-/BioShock Infinite-like layout and seems to become a fantastic experience, but then suddenly is out of levels. Because of the strongly varying difficulty and a story focuses on kids, we wonder what age the game is actually meant for.- Gamer.nl

Always Sometimes Monsters is an intellectual RPG-like variant in the Choose Your Own Adventure genre. Unfortunately, the game is not as clever as it wants to be. The ethical choices seem to have a big impact, but afterwards you find out you have only chosen from a limited number of flavors. Moreover, the annoying RPG Maker engine causes the real potential of the game to be absent.- Gamer.nl

Making a shooter for the DS: it’s not an easy task. Mobilized is a fairly enjoyable go at the genre on the handheld that impresses technically. Even the controls work. Still, it begs the question: who wants to play this game on the DS if you can play it on a big screen at home?- Gamer.nl

Soulstorm is a good addition which expands the lifetime of Dawn of War. The expansion is standalone and still all races are playable in single player. This makes the game very attractive for players who haven't gotten the original game. When it comes to graphics and gameplay, not many things have changed. PES 2011 3D is a typical launch title, that practically begs for a sequel. The base is strong, but on a lot of points, unrefined. Dante’s Inferno copies God of War in every way possible, except the part that makes God of War really good: the epic scale, the fantastic build-up and original puzzles. Mario Strikers: Battle League Football requires more skill than its predecessors to get the ball and the game your way (or foot), but unfortunately that diminishes the party game potential. Knytt Underground starts of very slowly and hardly convinces with its simple gameplay and a monotonously constructed adventure. It's also quite grating that the narrative context forms a departure in style from its otherwise pretty visualized levels. But in the third chapter of the game, developer Nifflas's creation comes into its own. It turns out to offer a wonderfully balanced challenge by letting players explore a huge world filled with inventive puzzles and fun platfoming action.- Gamer.nl

We can recommend Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans to both Dragon Ball-fans and RPG-enthusiasts. The story is well told, the turn-based fighting system is top notch and the ability to customize your characters on many levels is a great addition. Mirror of Fate is a good game. Take Lords of Shadow, cut the playing time in half, limit the third dimension to an optical illusion and what remains is an action adventure game that plays like a dream. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs isn't as much of a game as its predecessor, and gets less frightening after a while. If you wouldn't have to change your underwear 17 times we'd even go as far as to describe this as an interactive novel. At those times the game shines with an intelligent and nauseating storyline. It's just a shame that gameplay elements from The Dark Decent were unnecessarily sacrificed for that.- Gamer.nl

The wall that Tower Defense Play! hits is the fact that there are better tower defense games available. Its badly executed and the jokes have all been heard before. The only thing that makes this game worth a chance is the co-op mode, so you can try and enjoy it with three friends.- Gamer.nl

Killing for money is almost as good as gaming for money. That's why Mercenaries 2 is in theory a great game. But three and a half years after the first Mercenaries there hasn't been much of a change. Even the same antique design flaws are still present. Nevertheless the sheer size of the game and ability to destroy almost anything makes up for a lot of ground.- Gamer.nl

Despite the subtle and underwhelming changes the game has undergone, MotoGP 10/11 is a better and more realistic race-game than its predecessor. There remains room for improvement, but the developer seems to be on the right track.- Gamer.nl

This game is better on a handheld system, but it's visual style does look excellent on a bigger screen. The game mixes music and RPG elements perfectly.- Gamer.nl

If you have downloaded Tetris Party already, skip Party Deluxe. It is an updated WiiWare-game that does not differ very much from its predecessor. However, if you are desperately looking for new Tetris challenges, alone or with friends, and you did not download the original, you will be entertained by this game.- Gamer.nl

A well done sequel to the successful first game. The controls and AI could’ve used some extra attention, but the large selection of different sports and a few fictional ones, combined with the familiar faces of Mario and Sonic and their friends, make up for it.- Gamer.nl
