Expelled! stands out as an engaging and challenging experience for fans of narrative and investigation games. With its looping mechanics, the game tests the player's patience and cunning, requiring attention to detail and strategic planning.

In several aspects, the execution doesn’t reach its true potential, but, overall, it is worth it as a sufficiently cohesive, fun and well-presented experience.

Cataclismo is an RTS that combines resource management and tower defense elements very competently. The meticulous construction of walls and the need for constant planning make the game quite fun and addictive, in addition to providing the player with a good amount of freedom for customization. Although it has some caveats, it is a very welcome addition to the genre.

KinnikuNeko: SUPER MUSCLE CAT managed to have a glow up, turning itself into an interesting platformer for those looking for something far from seriousness, with jokes and an artstyle that manages to hook the player, besides a mild dose of challenge.

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark is a competent metroidvania, with cool visuals and solid gameplay. The scenarios are pleasant to explore and the fights are fun to play, all seasoned by a charming theme. It's a shame that it has some annoying problems in several areas, in addition to not offering significant innovations to such a competitive market. In the end, it's a suggestion mainly for lovers of the genre and fans of the Gal Gun brand.

Super Meat Boy 3D manages to be an excellent new entry for those who want to start with the franchise. The cutscenes are beautiful, there's freedom to complete the levels in any order, and the kingdoms are so frantic and fun that, even after failing countless times, the experience remains engaging.

Rusty Rabbit isn't bold in its proposal, but it's not bad either. The game has surrounded itself with great ideas, combining metroidvania and action with some RPG and humor. Of course, the massive repetitiveness caused by backtracking and the flaws in the gameplay can cause a certain exhaustion, but it's still a title that rewards those who make it to the end with a good adventure.

Elden Ring Nightreign is an experience that, while sharing similarities with the main game, sets itself apart in subtle ways. It’s a distilled version of the massive 2022 title, but its greatest strengths lie in its fast-paced combat, shorter runtime, and high-speed gameplay. It offers an engaging challenge for veterans, while also serving as a great entry point for those who don’t want to deal with the monumental scale of FromSoftware’s larger works.

Chicken Run: The Mission may have some structural flaws, but it's still a good way to continue the adventures of the birds who just want to survive without becoming lunch. The mechanics aren't complicated, and the pace is light, making it suitable for younger players or those looking for a few laughs while hiding from malicious chefs.

BALL x PIT stands out for its inventiveness by combining frantic action, roguelite progression, and block-breaking mechanics into a unique experience. The sphere fusion system and the cycle of building and upgrading the city provide a constant sense of progress and experimentation, while the retro visuals and controlled chaos of the battles make each match intense and engaging. However, the repetition of stages, constant grinding, and lack of variety eventually diminish some of the initial impact. Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered fulfills its role in rescuing one of the most important chapters of one of the most remarkable narratives in video games. Even more than two decades after its original release, the game still holds up mainly due to the strength of its story, the quality of its characters, and the way it concludes the complex saga of Kain and Raziel. But not everything has aged perfectly. Some limitations of the original version remain noticeable, especially in the camera system and certain aspects of gameplay. These elements reflect the era in which the game was created and may seem strange to players accustomed to more modern action titles.

Those qualities will only be appreciated by those interested in seeing the game from the perspective of a solo developer's project tracing winding paths of learning, and problem-solving. This is the audience that will benefit most from exploring the game along with the creator's commentary contained in it, and the videos that portrayed the three-year development process.

Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake is a fairly efficient reconstruction of a classic. Playing it safe in its approach, it's a competent production that manages to be inviting for both newcomers and veteran players who will feel reassured to see that Minakami hasn't changed much since his last stint, although there are enough new elements to make them feel immersed as if it were an almost fresh experience.

WiZmans World Re;Try is a charming dungeon-crawling JRPG remaster whose real hook is the Anima Fusion system, letting you absorb defeated monsters to evolve and customize your three homunculi with new stats, skills, and even looks. Combat is turn-based and easy to read thanks to a clear timeline and a simple elemental cycle, rewarding smart chaining and efficient planning. It's a shame that the significant amount of content requires a lot of patience to access. In the long run, however, those who enjoy the games will end up enjoying everything the game has to offer, such as a leveling system that unlocks new golfers, holes, clubs, and more.

Shroomtopia does some small flaws, but its good set of challenges has everything to please both those in a hurry and those who like to take their time, enjoying each moment of the puzzle. The aspect of creating your own level is also very well done, increasing the game's replay value while creating audience engagement, who will dedicate themselves not only to completing everything, but also to showing off their own puzzles.

Onirism presents an interesting set of ideas and has enough personality to stand out, but its execution still falls short of the concept’s potential. The combination of unbalanced difficulty and poorly structured levels undermines the experience, even with the protagonist’s solid mobility and the world’s visual charm. On the other hand, the variety of weapons and game modes brings fresh energy to the adventure, adding new dynamics to the combat. Overall, Onirism is a fun experience, but one that still needs adjustments to become truly accessible to different types of players.
