Never Alone offers an average experience as a platformer with puzzles to solve but it's the game's narrative and tribute to the Inupiat people that makes it stand out as a unique experience. A perfect choice of artwork and use of cultural traits contribute to make Never Alone an insightful work which can also be enjoyed as a game.- FNintendo

LEGO Jurassic World brings what is expected from the LEGO series to the world of Jurassic Park in an effort that features plenty of humor, amusing moments and a co-op mode that proves just right for a fun two-player experience. Even if there are no significant new elements in this work, LEGO Jurassic World certainly does a good job at providing an enjoyable experience like other LEGO games have done.- FNintendo

Disney Magical World 2 follows the footsteps of its predecessor and plunges the payers into the Disney universe, where many familiar characters and locations await. It displays a healthy variety of landscapes and NPCs and a matching audiovisual environment but while the youngest crowd will certainly enjoy this game, it feels too repetitive and too much alike its predecessor, with little variety to set it apart from the original.- FNintendo

My Memory of Us does not follow the typical story-telling mechanisms and it dares to venture into a background plot that not many games would step into. Its original and unusual story-telling make this a rather unique effort which might not be the most exciting for players looking for a thrilling challenge but it does a very good job at delivering a unique experience.- FNintendo

Tumblestone is a magnificent puzzle game which visibly stands out as one of the best titles of the genre in the Wii U catalogue. Pity the disproportionate gap between its gameplay and its visual and sound components, as well as its cost, as these flaws prevent it from being even more of an indispensable option for any Wii U player.- FNintendo

Type:Rider is an original and even surprising experience. While not a classic action-platformer or even a classic puzzle game, Type:Rider's main assets are its originality, game design and informative character as it takes the player through a compact version of the history of typeface. Pity it cannot last longer and offer a more user-friendly format for its very informative texts.- FNintendo

Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk features engaging and complex gameplay systems, as well as a combat that is fast and compelling and more signs of quality in a production of this level. While those who are not into JRPGs will find it difficult to appreciate this game, those more versed in the genre will see here a quality and good performing game.- FNintendo

Fairune 2 is a sequel that follows its predecessor on all the right tracks, keeping what made the original a pleasant experiences and extending its lifespan. What works for some might not work for all, though, and for players looking for something more groundbreaking than the original this will not deliver, which does not mean that its creative combat system and rich audiovisual component will fall short of the players' expectations, because it won't.- FNintendo

Thanks to its action elements and especially to its time mechanics, Time Recoil is an interesting game that brings an original and welcome experience to the catalog of the Nintendo Switch. While its graphics may be too simplistic and its plot not more than a motif to justify the game's action, Time Recoil brings very good action moments and it's a proposal that is very well suited to short gaming sessions.- FNintendo

Child of Light is a well-crafted action RPG that boasts some marvelous visuals and an outstanding soundtrack and matches them with an interesting, albeit not very varied combat system. The game may be over four years old by now but it certainly remains an RPG that can be easily recommended, even if its plot is not as involving as it should.- FNintendo

This third chapter pales out, however, due to the absence of the 3D effect and multiplayer mode and comparatively, it offers less content than the other titles of the series. It still provides a good basis to explore some groundbreaking NES games, but it could certainly use more ambition.- FNintendo

Underground would have the right conditions to dispute a place in the eShop lineup with other puzzle games, if only its control scheme and AI were better implemented. Its graphical environment and sound scapes do stand out for good reasons and the puzzles it contains are challenging and fun, but all this ends up getting harmed by its faulty controls and camera system.- FNintendo

This spin-off features a visually rich environment, fun gameplay mechanics and a myriad of unlockable content but it would have been more enjoyable if the game featured more characters and a greater variety of pinball tables.- FNintendo

It might not be too ambitious but its fun and simple gameplay is definitely something that will immediately grab the player's attention and allow for a few hours of fun. Unfortunately it can get too simplistic and as a consequence, it will end up driving players away too soon.- FNintendo

Its qualities could stand out in a better way if the game was less repetitive and more challenging, as the difficulty level will quickly prove to be under the threshold of what many players expect.- FNintendo

It's well presented, the control system is properly tuned and its difficulty level is balanced, qualities which amount to an entertaining work. Nevertheless, there are several flaws which should not be overlooked in a final game and which require a thorough revision, such as an irregular frame rate.- FNintendo

Icewind Dale and Planescape: Torment are two games from a previous generation that now get the right to a Nintendo Switch release. While both titles included in this package feature a marvelous plot and many hours of content for a very customizable experience, its visual execution has aged rather poorly and the level of difficulty will put off many newcomers.- FNintendo

The game is indeed fun on multiplayer, while leaving the single player mode feel somewhat abandoned but overall it still feels like it's a collection of rather superficial minigames. It allows for some fun but it doesn't really grab the player's interest on a long term basis.- FNintendo

Thanks to its ambiance, sound environment and plot, this is a good effort at creating a horror-themed game for the Nintendo Switch. It is not as immersive as it should be and it becomes inevitable to compare it to the original but Outlast 2 still has assets to allow it to stand on its own.- FNintendo

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two follows on its predecessor and delivers a competent plot, with good moments of humour, a good voice acting work and an improved combat system. It doesn't fulfill all its promises, though, as the game lacks epic and captivating moments and not all technical issues have been solved before release, with overall problems in capturing the player's enthusiasm.- FNintendo

Gets several points right, especially its artwork and visual environment. There’s a lot of content to unlock and its difficulty curve is balanced enough. Where it fails is on providing a more captivating gameplay, as the game forces the players to constantly look down to their GamePads, wasting time in the process.- FNintendo

Binaries brings forth a good concept and ideas in a package that features a good and effective presentation. It doesn't quite fulfill its potential, though, as it relies too much on its difficulty level and ends up not providing sense of satisfaction to the player, which can make its experience somewhat frustrating.- FNintendo

This rhythm game with an emotive plot features a marvelous soundtrack, as it should for a rhythm game, and a gameplay that includes several good ideas, as well as some flaws which along with the game's exaggerated price and its clear origins of a game made for mobile devices and which have not been properly improved make this a game that falls short of its real potential.- FNintendo

Trivial Pursuit Live makes its premier on the Nintendo Switch in a format that combines the board game's formula with that of a television game show. The amount and variety and questions is quite good and the way the game is structured makes for a good multiplayer time, which is fundamental to truly enjoy this game when faced with the arbitrary and unappealing one-player mode.- FNintendo

Atelier Totori shifts the focus of its predecessor onto combat and exploration, with the alchemy elements appearing less prominent. If the intention is understandable, the result is less positive and the game ends up feeling less interesting than it wants to be. The plot remains captivating and some of the more known characters are back but there are elements which have not improved when compared to its predecessor.- FNintendo

SIMULACRA does not play like the greatest work ever made but that doesn't mean there's nothing to draw from this mystery FMV adventure. While the gameplay feels rather shallow, the plot is compelling enough to keep the players entertained and involved with the hints and twists that are found along the way and the feeling of satisfaction when coming across a clue or reaching a different ending do help SIMULACRA to have some merit of its own.- FNintendo

I Am Setsuna will more than certainly strike a chord with longtime JRPG fans, who will find plenty of elements to bond with this game. It doesn't quite fulfill other major ambitions and its disappointing plot, rather uninspired characters and overall repetitiveness of some aspects, especially as far as its visual component is concerned, stand on its way from breaking any grounds compared to other recent games of the same style.- FNintendo

Sheltered features plenty of options and some interesting base ideas. When in motion, though, there's a lot that is left unattended, as the game leaves a lot of things unexplained for the player to find out, when in many situations it would be most useful to have some additional backup. Its rather difficult navigation does not help and the overall experience ends up being harmed.- FNintendo

The idea of creating a single Kirby game out of a minigame is laudable and Kirby Fighters Deluxe will be enjoyed mostly by those looking for quick, fun rounds of combat, whether singularly or up to four players. It doesn’t stretch much further, though, and it gets repetitive quickly enough.- FNintendo

Despite its similarities with Arkham City - Armoured Edition, this Arkham Origins ends up on a lower threshold. Its hints of innovation don't go as far as they seem to promise and the lack of a multiplayer component is simply impossible to understand. A higher degree of ambition would have worked much better for Arkham Origins.- FNintendo
