After you learn the controls, this is a puzzle game worth spending some serious time with on your Wii U.

Underground is a roller coaster of a puzzle game that manages to bring something truly original to the Wii U eShop.

Underground is a funny Wii U-game with a serious twist as it is a serious surgery game. It makes an art out of moving as smooth as possible with robot arms, and it is fun but hard to learn, especially because of the GamePad that often gives your fingers a hard time.

Considering Underground was developed originally as a simulator and will hopefully assist in the development of surgical skills, it's great to see it works well as a standalone game, too.

Underground succeeds in providing players with an interesting challenge, and the unusual control scheme makes users immediately sit up and pay attention.

For doctors it actually might work as a distraction in the form of playful training exercises. But as a game it is not very entertaining.

I picked it up mostly because I read about the unusual background to the game (it was designed partly to train surgeons!) but I've been pleasantly surprised so far. This is exactly the type of unusual game I'd like to see more of. Expand
