Disney Magical Life may seem like it follows the path of other similar games but it creates its own personality as it grows. It’s always a joy to see the most memorable Disney characters in an interactive form and the exquisite way they are portrayed only adds to the game’s appeal.- FNintendo

Forager brings forth a good open-world simulation game that successfully transmits to the player a rewarding feeling of growth and involvement, along with simple and fun mechanics. Watching the growth from a simple plot of land to a large empire is very satisfactory, even if the game's performance seems to deteriorate as the player's fiefdom expands.- FNintendo

Parascientific Escape - Gear Detective is a visual novel that offers a well written plot with interesting puzzles and characters and thanks to its price, it becomes a recommended experience not only for fans of its style but also for those who never played a visual novel before. While its audiovisual component could benefit from displaying higher production values, the overall gameplay and involvement with the plot make this a game that deserves its fair share of attention.- FNintendo

Its combat may feel flawed at first but as the game goes on and the customization options open up to the player, ONINAKI becomes more and more enjoyable and its approximate twenty hours of lifespan make this a game that is worthy of the player's attention.- FNintendo

Bike Rider DX2: Galaxy turns a very simple and common concept into something fun and rewarding. Its very precise and accurate controls and a well adjusted difficulty curve mean that any amount of time spent around this game will be fun. While some of the bicycler's powers seem to be superfluous, Bike Rider DX2: Galaxy can be a non-stop roller coaster of speed and skill.- FNintendo

Yooka-Laylee brings back some of the action platforming magic that was so successful in the late 90s in an effort that is full of nostalgic bliss. Being more of a retro-looking work than a trailblazing new platformer, it could use some improvements regarding certain sections that turn out to be too frustrating for its own good, as well as its combat mechanics and the way the camera moves but none of this prevents Yooka-Laylee from striking a chord with the fans of classic 3D platformers.- FNintendo

The Bug Butcher draws on the much beloved 2D shooters of the 1980s and 1990s to deliver an experience that is not only visually marvelous but also brings simple and fun gameplay mechanics and a completely absurd and well-written humour. The game is set to be enjoyed for a long time and any fans of the genre and beyond should definitely check out this piece of work.- FNintendo

It takes long to master but the rewards will be nothing short of marvelous, as magnificent worlds will open up before the players who invest their time and effort into this piece, if the repetitiveness of some moments does not put them off.- FNintendo

Another World – 20th Anniversary is a welcome new edition of one of videogaming’s most significant works and cult classic of other days. This port keeps all that made the original so appealing, while also keeping the frustrating difficulty and low replay value.- FNintendo

Rival Megagun joins the growing numbers of retro-styled shoot'em ups on the Nintendo Switch catalogue and adds a whole new dimension to the experience: a gameshow component, after shooting aliens. This makes for an interesting main game mode, despite the game's appeal being rather limited for solo experiences. Overall the multiplayer component is more attractive than going solo and it's only legitimate to expect that the game's online community will grow in the near future.- FNintendo

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is essentially a remastered version of Kirby's Epic Yarn, with a few tweaks when it comes to some new moves and the loss of the co-op component. Beyond that, the game remains the same: a very easy effort, which was mostly designed to be used as relaxation, rather than as a challenging, competitive piece of gaming and while it does a very good job at its primary goal, it might be too easy for players looking for something more compelling.- FNintendo

Ninja Smasher intends to bring back the spirit of 8-bit platformers and it certainly mastered its conventions: the plot is minimal as the player sets off through a maze-like map, with a difficulty curve that is very well adjusted to the player's own development as more items and techniques become available.- FNintendo

Figment is an adventure game that proposes something unusual but not any less topical and relevant: how to deal with depression. With that in mind, the game presents a series of very attractive-looking hand-drawn sets that come to life during the game and a dynamic soundtrack that follows the players during the puzzle-solving duties. While the game's combats feel too simple and the puzzles are somewhat repetitive, this is without a doubt a very good approach to a complex theme and which will appeal to fans of adventure and puzzle games alike.- FNintendo

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast has the right to a Nintendo Switch version many years after its original release, but age does not affect this Star Wars classic in any negative way. While the initial part of the game is rather cumbersome, after thirty-something minutes the player will get a significant push into the spirit of the saga and the game's plot, light saber duels and soundtrack will make a splendorous job at fully inserting the fans into this work.- FNintendo

Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling was made as a tribute to the Paper Mario series and in an attempt to recapture the spirit of the first game of the series. While Bug Fables does not succeed in this purpose, it does deliver a good game, with an addictive combat, well structured plot (and a lot of dialogues), as well as game world that's a marvel to look at. So while the more spiritual goal to pay tribute to Nintendo's series went off the mark, the secondary objectives to make a good game are undoubtedly successful.- FNintendo

Golem Gates successfully joins elements of Real Time Strategy games with those of card-based strategy games for an effort that provides a good level of strategic complexity and an interesting art style, as well as laudable online functionalities. It's also an accessible game, although it can feel too easy once the player has crafted a good enough deck of cards.- FNintendo

Skylanders Imaginators pursues the legacy of its predecessors and is a fun, simple and visually rich action-platformer that makes use of action figures to interact in the game. It could have been more generous, given how much of its contents require owning all the figures, which will weigh heavily on the players' budgets, but the game also allows some margin to finish its main plot without the need to overspend.- FNintendo

Mario Tennis Ultra Smash brings the fun and entertaining gameplay that is expected from a title in the Mario Tennis series, along with a wide variety of characters and courts which will keep its players around the racquets for quite a while. It doesn't go beyond that, as it also leaves the impression that the game needs some additional work and the lack of game modes make its content feel rather empty.- FNintendo

Floor Kids features an interesting and fluid gameplay style, which coupled with its soundtrack make this a well developed rhythm game. Flashback brings back one of the 1990s 16-bit classics in a perfect nostalgia exercise that also includes some interesting new elements. Its gameplay remains as demanding as it was, which will delight Flashback's fans and possibly frustrate more recent players who are not used to this kind of old school difficulty.- FNintendo

Thanks to its cooperative mode, its lifespan and relatively low price, this is a game that won't be out of its depth in any good Nintendo Switch collection, even if it somehow feels like a victim of the amount of 2D platformers on the console.- FNintendo

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition is a definitive version of a game that despite starting to show its age, it still offers a wide amount of content and a great variety of characters, as well as a top notch soundtrack. The game focuses a bit too much on the series' fans, however, and leaves little else to those unfamiliar with the One Piece universe, meaning it will not enlarge its audience by a whole lot.- FNintendo

Red Bow's 16-bit era visual environment may easily have it mistaken for an RPG, with a few point and click adventure elements here and there but there should be no mistake that this is a horror game, and it's a good evidence that a good horror game does not require a realistic looking environment to instill restlessness on its players. Although very short, Red Bow's simple gameplay and visual environment, as well as replay value, make this a production that's well worthy of attention.- FNintendo

A great improvement over its predecessor, Steel Diver: Sub Wars is successful at putting the player in a submarine environment, recreating several aspects of these vessels within the boundaries set by the 3DS. The overall short length of its one player mode and the lack of options on multiplayer mode end up becoming obstacles on its route, but this is a title that will not disappoint.- FNintendo
