Super Chariot tries to do something bold: to stand out, as a 2D platformer, in a Nintendo system. And it can't be blamed for trying, as the game feature a long and entertaining lifespan with a sharp gameplay that will keep players amused for some time, even more in its cooperative multiplayer mode, amidst its visually welcoming environments.- FNintendo

Don't Starve gives the player a charming Tim Burton-like visual environment, only to be merciless to all with its extremely punishing death experiences. Still, the more one dies, the more one will learn and the experience is diverse enough to keep the most persist players hooked around its mechanics.- FNintendo

Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha is a compilation of six classic shoot'em-ups that brings to today's players an experience of older times. The six games included are overall fun and enjoyable, even if they don't all provide the same satisfaction but the options included make this effort an adaptation that fits well on the Nintendo Switch, especially if played with the console's screen in a vertical position. Nonetheless, more extras and additional content would be more than welcome.- FNintendo

Atelier Rorona is a simple game, that while it does not intend to be the greatest and most epic effort ever made, it succeeds at what it aims at: creating an interesting system that is accessible and complex at the same time, in the background of a varied and inviting world, falling short only when it comes to some performance issues and on rather low resolution textures.- FNintendo

It's undeniable that Wii Sports Club is a clear improvement over the original, with its improved graphics, precise controls and online multiplayer mode. In spite of this, Nintendo could have taken a bigger risk, by developing a true sequel to Wii Sports. As it is, one has to wonder if its price isn't a bit excessive for what it offers.- FNintendo

This is a game that is simple but engaging enough to keep players interested, including even after the main quest is finished. Featuring fun combats and well executed animations, Brave Dungeon may not be the most ambitious RPG ever made but it certainly is something RPG fans will enjoy.- FNintendo

Minimal to the max, this would be an adequate way of presenting Blek. Without any additional or superfluous elements, Blek is all about putting the stylus to the GamePad and guiding the line. A very challenging puzzle game with a perhaps too steep learning curve, but which will be welcomed by many.- FNintendo

Unholy Heights' unusual background, coupled with its addictive dynamics and comical details, provides the basis for a game that will be difficult to let go of once the player is emerged into it.- FNintendo

Just Dance 2018 keeps its predecessors' gameplay mechanics, which work wonders at parties and other gatherings and the track list is varied enough to provide some entertainment during several gaming sessions. This does not mean, however, that it does not need some innovation, preferably in the form of new game modes.- FNintendo

M2 did a wonderful job with 3D Galaxy Force II. The 3D version is superb in all components and redeems the disaster that was the Mega Drive version. It won’t take you long to complete, but it is still a great effort.- FNintendo

Fire Emblem Warriors fits the original series well and features an immense amount of content, as well as a wide number of characters to choose from and an exquisite soundtrack. What it features in quantity, however, does not exactly match its quality and some variety in this aspect would be more appreciated but nevertheless, this is a very good take on the musou genre and one that is loyal to the legacy of the Fire Emblem series.- FNintendo

Piczle Lines DX brings a fun and challenging concept to the puzzle game genre and resembles a crossover between Picross and Sudoku. It does a good use of the Nintendo Switch capabilities, namely of its touch screen but it could use more game modes for its price and it would benefit from a multiplayer mode.- FNintendo

Jamestown+ is a Nintendo Switch conversion of one of the finest shoot'em-ups of its generation. With its addictive, frantic gameplay and fun cooperative mode, Jamestown+ is a delightful game but those who have already played it elsewhere will find only marginal benefits to the experience.- FNintendo

There's certainly a lot of qualities in The Keep and the game is not without its charms but there also seems to be an overall feeling of repetitiveness and lack of originality regarding other dungeon crawling titles.- FNintendo

Ultraton is a fun and addictive arcade-style shooter which in many ways follows an old-school pattern of gameplay. It could surely benefit from a more extended lifespan and more variety on the attack patterns of the bosses but it still stands as one of the most fun shooters available on the Wii U's digital market.- FNintendo

Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut does not stand out as much as its predecessor did, which is no shame as this is a game that features a good balance between exploration of locations and backtracking and Shantae's magic spells and transforming skills are delightful. It could go further on the boss fights and in terms of content but that doesn't stand on its way of being a very enjoyable game for those who like exploring and backtracking in a metroidvania style.- FNintendo

Yesterday Origins has the rather unusual task of bringing a point and click adventure game to the Nintendo Switch eShop...and it works, as this is a fully enjoyable game that features a short but interesting plot, with some very good dialogue lines, a well adapted control scheme and a top notch audiovisual environment. The game may not be up everyone's alley, as its slow pace may put some players off but this is a successful and interesting game of an unusual genre in consoles that is well worth of the players' attention.- FNintendo

Vampyr brings a very well executed gothic and vampirical atmosphere to the Nintendo Switch, which sits really well with the game's outstanding plot and narrative developments. The game could do much better when it comes to its long loading times and sometimes unstable performance but these are not factors that end up harming an overall experience of interesting exploration and involving plot choices.- FNintendo

Translating M.C. Escher’s mind-bending works into a game leads to The Bridge, a game whose puzzles, mechanics and visual presentation fit perfectly into the artist’s legacy. It does exaggerate on its difficulty level, which can make progression too demanding for many players.- FNintendo

Simple, psychedelic and effective, this is how one can sum up Cosmophony, the latest rhythm game to hit the Wii U's eShop catalogue. Its gameplay mechanics are very well implemented, which makes for long hours of fun topped by its sometimes too punishing difficulty level.- FNintendo

Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York is a visual novel that follows in the footsteps of a previous game dedicated to a vampirical story and this new chapter on the Nintendo Switch is a marvel when it comes to its gorgeous art style, a skillfully-written plot and its incentives to play again once finished, in order to discover its world with different characters. While its experience is rather short and ends abruptly, fans of visual novels will have plenty to wrap their minds around in the form of Coteries of New York.- FNintendo

It’s true that Mercenaries Saga 2 is not a trailblazer and does not reinvent the wheel of tactical RPGs, its main virtues lie elsewhere: it acts as a very welcoming starting point for those who have just awakened to the genre and its battles offer a wide variety of interactions that are certain to satisfy the enthusiasts who like to fully explore their games.- FNintendo

Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! represent a different line in the Pokémon series. Reflecting a more accessible take, these two games make the experience more open to new players, while keeping several nostalgic and legacy factors intact for seasoned veterans. While not all is a resounding success, namely when it comes to its limited online component, uninteresting motion controls and an overall level of challenge that is below expectations, some of the games' new elements are more than likely to bring a fun, enjoyable time to players of all backgrounds.- FNintendo

All this cannot save it from being covered head to toe in the usual JRPG clichés, with flat uninteresting characters and very a predictable plot. Had these structural issues been addressed, Stella Glow could be a landmark in the 3DS catalogue. Instead, it's held down to being just a good game which doesn't fulfill its true potential.- FNintendo

Team Sonic Racing is a fun, competent and well executed kart racing game that could benefit from being more ambitious but overall, it does very well what it proposes and acts as another good example of a game that gathers a cast of characters from one of SEGA's most popular universes.- FNintendo
