Digimon Survive is an experiment that is only half successful, as when determining the narrative and role-playing and strategic components of the hybrid, the developers have allocated insufficient space to the latter. The result is a dark and mature visual novel, which however we would like to recommend only to the most avid fans of the genre, due to the exhausting long-winded dialogues and excessive repetitiveness that characterize this type of product. If, on the other hand, you are looking for adrenaline and the collectible component typical of the brand, you had better turn your attention to the much more deserving episodes of the Digimon Story series.- Everyeye.it

After two years to forget, Madden NFL seems to have embarked on the road to redemption, with a playable homage to the great John Madden. The new additions to the gameplay and the advances made by the AI, give the series a new dimension, as well as the Franchise mode that has finally been fixed. There are several areas to fix, however, and our feeling is that EA Tiburon has not yet managed to really exploit the power of the next-gen.- Everyeye.it

The Saints Row reboot offers a fun experience, made even more varied by the numerous Criminal Enterprises and capable of bestowing smiles, given the presence of crazy weapons to discover and out of the ordinary Skills. In addition to the journey of brotherhood at the base of the story, the real element that pushes to extend the stay in Santo Ileso is the boundless customization, which will allow you to have the last word on the look of characters, weapons, cars and the Saints HQ. Anchored in some ways to stylistic features of the past, the latest Volition effort is affected by some critical issues both on the playful and purely graphic front and more generally fails to make the series reach new evolutionary peaks. That said, if you're a lover of chaos and easygoing, manageable criminal travels, get ready to end the summer with a bang.- Everyeye.it

It is certainly not a novelty that a tender palletta famous for gulping down enemies or Bon Bon, can be greedy, but this time Kirby exceeds expectations: Kirby's Dream Buffet presents itself as a party game that proudly rests on a gastronomic dimension. Through a four-course menu, you will roll, bounce and immerse yourself in a contest of sponge cake and burgers, trying to conquer as many strawberries as possible. It would be more exciting if there was the possibility to customize the Kirbys of the secondary players or if other mini-games were also included in the path, to make the tasting even more varied. "Vote die you"? No. But as an alternative to other games it is inspired by, it leaves a sweet, soft feeling, less of contention and more of feasting. We advise against playing it on an empty stomach.- Everyeye.it

Red Matter 2 is the perfect sequel to the first chapter from both a narrative and a technical point of view. The performance on Oculus Quest 2 is excellent and the graphics sector is sensational, so much so as to make this title better than many PCVR projects with more hardware resources available. The story proceeds with many more surprises than that of the predecessor and unfolds in different scenarios, presenting some new mechanics at their best. While it proved problematic in specific shooting stages, the gameplay as a whole is rich and offers several hours of fun and wonder for both VR novices and veterans alike. If you have played the progenitor of the series, know that this sequel may surprise you, thanks to a dystopian sci-fi universe at times surprising.- Everyeye.it

Midnight Fight Express is an adrenaline-pumping brawler that gives the player considerable freedom of approach. Given their short duration, the levels are faced again without thinking too much, perhaps to take advantage of new skills or to get better ratings. The plot is clearly reduced to the bone and the technical profile reveals the limits of production but we are still faced with a product capable of teasing fans of the genre, without a shadow of a doubt.- Everyeye.it

ATLUS managed to surprise us again. Drawing on a hybrid system between Shin Megami Tensei and Persona, the studio has packaged an articulated and galvanizing role-playing experience, which has nothing to envy to the best JRPGs of recent years. If the Tregenda proved to be an excellent alternative to the now classic All-Out-Attack, embellishing and renewing an already articulated and profound combat system such as the "Press Turn" System, the Demonic Reconnaissance has instead been able to significantly streamline the exploratory component, as well as the collection of funds, materials and the recruitment of new Demons. On the flip side, the cross-gen nature and an inorganic artistic direction prevented the product from aiming for excellence, demonstrating once again how much ATLUS needs to improve in terms of graphics and performance. Ultimately Soul Hackers 2 may not be the new Persona 5, but that's just fine.- Everyeye.it

There is nothing that can entice and stimulate the player to face the twenty hours needed to complete the full-bodied adventure of Lost Epic. The component that works best, the action formula, is also the thinnest, and certainly not enough to bear the weight of the whole experience. The other areas of the gameplay unfortunately only weigh it down further, mechanical accomplices not well implemented and useless trappings. In short, these are the reasons why this 2D action rpg has been trapped in the limbo of mediocrity.- Everyeye.it

Rollerdrome is a small product and the low price does not fully justify the speed with which you can reach the credits. Despite being designed to be replayed several times, the Roll7 title does not have the necessary prerequisites to encourage users to spend a lot of time in the available levels or thanks to the endgame mode. That said, we are talking about a splendid pastime with a very effective core gameplay, capable of driving crazy even those who are not used to approaching experiences of this type.- Everyeye.it

Thymesia proposes a soulslike formula with different ideas of value, but ultimately clearly shows the inexperience of a team at the beginning, which struggles to bear the weight of its ambitions. Although it has solid foundations, the formula developed by Overborder shows some lightness too much, in the frame of a product that fails to manifest a truly convincing stylistic identity. Although not particularly generous in terms of content, the work of the Taiwanese team still remains a fun title, able to offer fans a handful of hours of fighting fun.- Everyeye.it

Net of some annoying bugs, Way of the Hunter is a simulation that certainly knows how to satisfy hunting enthusiasts, giving them a journey into the wilderness that allows them to take multiple approaches to take down elusive prey and almost always convincing behaviors. At the same time, we are talking about a great exercise of patience, to be used both when the long hunts do not lead to the desired results, and during the campaign mode which, given its playful structure, did not turn out to be as interesting as we hoped.- Everyeye.it

Arcade Paradise is practically a matryoshka, because inside a superstructure of managerial inspiration it puts many different experiences, both on the playful and purely artistic front. He does it in a convincing way, also thanks to his ability to know how to wink at long-time players and the many small tributes to the 90s. The problem, however, is that this superstructure becomes almost negligible after a few hours, because it lacks significant novelties and interesting variables. In any case, if you are nostalgic for arcades and want to spend time in a laundry full of virtual worlds, give Arcade Paradise a peaceful chance.- Everyeye.it

Lost in Play is a point and click adventure made with irreverent non-sense comedy, of intuitive puzzles and puzzles that are not particularly stimulating, but layered enough to make you spend a handful of hours of fun. The most enjoyable stages are the mini-challenges, which will challenge you with some of the most unique and challenging puzzles. While not representing the pinnacle of the genre, however, the title of Happy Juice Games is an intriguing and ironic dip into creativity and imagination, an interactive cartoon for lovers of the most bizarre and grungy animated comedies.- Everyeye.it

Two Point Campus is a production of excellence, able to meet not only the favor of enthusiasts, but also to bring neophytes to the genre. The immediacy of the controls, the excellent learning curve and the goliardic tones of the experience make the work a perfect entry point for players curious to try their hand at the management universe for the first time. At the same time, the depth of gameplay and the incredible amount of content can only excite the veterans of this specific videogame branch.- Everyeye.it

Hindsight offers an experience lasting only a few hours, but with a strong emotional value. Despite an essential gameplay to say the least, Joel McDonald's creation flows smoothly and without uncertainty, without generating boredom or giving in to monotony. Only at the center of the scene, the fluctuating relationship between Mary and her mother turns into the stage chosen by the team to tell the importance of empathy and the continuous search for mutual understanding. An inner journey that lives on the border between the USA and Japan, Hindsight looks to an audience of curious gamers, willing to sacrifice articulated interactivity for a few hours in favor of a markedly intimate story.- Everyeye.it

The Tarnishing of Juxtia is not a title that shines for originality, especially in what is a scene already full of soulslike and products ready to mimic its main features. Yet in its proposing already known but not trivial gameplay mechanics, it offers a playful experience that manages to entertain, thanks to very exciting boss fights and an effective artistic direction. In short, if you want to experience a journey full of arduous and exciting challenges, you should take it into consideration.- Everyeye.it

Tough but rewarding, the action in Hard West 2 benefits from the great role played by the element of luck and is supported by a strong pool of characters, with unique traits and abilities. Despite having noble intentions, Retreat to Enen fails to offer engaging game mechanics capable of encouraging the player to continue in his survival. Between the poor replayability, the absence of a multiplayer mode and a series of deficiencies from the gameplay point of view, the Head West product is not unappetizing only in the eyes of survival game enthusiasts, but also to that niche of gamers who they might appreciate a spiritual journey into the middle of nature.- Everyeye.it

Forza Horison 5: Hot Wheels is a beautiful dive into the dreams of children who have been building tracks on tracks for decades. A sort of car-sized playground built to amaze from the very first moment, which, however, focuses too much on the glance and sacrifices on the altar of the scenography both the freedom of exploration of the base game and the beauty of its events. The festival's spectacular expeditions are lacking, as are secondary events that increase affection for this new floating and intricate world. It is good that a different path has been tried than in the past but the experiment presents some uncertainty in our opinion.- Everyeye.it

Season 1 of Century: Age of Ashes really surprised us with its excellent gameplay and a playful formula that successfully tries to break out of the classic free-to-play canons. There is still some work to be done regarding the variety of maps and a control of the dragons that is not always optimal, also due to the complexity of the level design. Nevertheless, the charm of winged beasts and the ability to breathe fire at anything that moves on the screen, allowed us to spend a few hours lightly and without running into frustration.- Everyeye.it

In Endling: Extinction Is Forever, the urgency of survival and the pangs of hunger skilfully alternate with more relaxed moments and touching discoveries, for an engaging and emotional adventure. The story told by Herobeat Studio is silent, accompanied only by the images evoked by the nose of a fox mother and by the excellent soundtrack. Perhaps also for this reason, the power of the message conveyed by the game is remarkable, able to reach its peak in an epilogue that you will hardly forget. Rather short, the title rests on consistent gameplay, supported by an articulated map and the ability to unlock new abilities for baby foxes. An environmental-based survival adventure that, despite the silence of its narrative, really has a lot to say and teach.- Everyeye.it

Bright Memory: Infinite offers gameplay that successfully mixes gunfire and hand-to-hand combat, without sacrificing anything on the technical side and the fluidity of the clashes. The main campaign is perhaps too short but the low cost of the game and the fact that it was made by one person, make it an experience not to be underestimated. The hope for the future is that Zeng Xiancheng will be able to form a well-fed and talented team, which can support him to make an even more ambitious, complete and satisfying video game. The bases from which to start are all there and this does nothing but load us with expectations for the future of the creative.- Everyeye.it

Stray is a changing adventure in its playful and fascinating proposal thanks to its powerful artistic direction. Eyes in the Dark: the Curious Case of One Victoria Bloom will call you to explore a darkness to be eradicated with the trusty flashlight. Victoria Bloom's "visit" to her grandfather's home is a heart-pounding journey and, net of a series of limitations, it proved to be fun to play and able to amaze, thanks above all to a refined graphic style that certainly does not go unnoticed.
