Where Winds Meet is a decidedly atypical free-to-play game, which, unlike many of its counterparts, has embraced a philosophy devoid of any pay-to-win mechanics. Not only does this system work, but it is also supported by a combat system and exploration that do their job well and are enjoyable, regardless of whether you decide to play alone or with other users. The only real flaw in this production remains the menus, whose complexity is excessive and could discourage many players who, without this kind of defect, could enjoy the wuxia adventure much more.- Everyeye.it

Nintendo Switch Sports promises roughly what you imagine: giving some surprises in some cases, making a thread turn up your nose for its abstruse narrowness in some others, but in general confirming itself at 360 °. All in all, however, one thought can be affirmed with certainty: if you had enjoyed yourself a dozen years ago, you will return to do so even today. Perhaps even with more taste than expected, because at the base of this collection of mini-games there are intriguing and much less trivial gameplay solutions than it seems, however, packaged in an excellent package to look at and listen to. If, on the other hand, this weird all-motion control madness wasn't your thing then, it will be nearly impossible to somehow make you change your mind today.- Everyeye.it

Onde is a different puzzle platform, one of those video games capable of capturing the player's attention for three hours and projecting it into his two-dimensional world. His genius lies in the flawless management of his single mechanic, which is gradually overturned and transformed to make the game more and more satisfying. This Director’s Cut is able to perfect the already excellent Tequila Works game, by adding a series of graphic effects that can fit the current console standards. New lights, new animations make the zombie world more “lively”, and oppressive. Gameplay and storyline remain unchanged, excepted from the new Survival Mode, which cannot stand against a very limited longevity though. Nevertheless, Deadlight is a game not to be missed.- Everyeye.it

REPLACED is a feast for the eyes and ears. The world crafted by Sad Cat Studios is vibrant and magnetic—a place where getting lost amidst the details and references is a constant delight. However, the gameplay is not without its uncertainties. The platforming sections are generally well-designed but occasionally suffer from spikes of excessive difficulty. The same applies to the combat, which, over time, suffers from a lack of variety and a difficulty level that sometimes feels artificial. The result is a solid and effective experience, though one in which the visual quality ultimately stands out above the rest.- Everyeye.it

Arcadegeddon does not aspire to the replayability of The Binding of Isaac and does not flaunt the productive values of Returnal, but in its small way it succeeds very well in its intent: to create a roguelite characterized by an important arcade component, a fun cooperative mode and a structure different from all. his most distinguished colleagues. Circuit Superstars is not a masterpiece but it is a game that has a certain charm. The fleet is truly impressive, the driving system is surprisingly demanding, the graphic style is pleasant, the local multiplayer is hilarious: what's missing? A little bit of variety. After a couple of hours of play the initial enthusiasm drops as well as the replayability factor. We would need new game modes and an AI capable of livening up single player races, as well as a few more options for online multiplayer. The game is sold at a budget price (20 euros): in company it is absolutely worth the purchase.- Everyeye.it

The wind that blows from the island of Iki, at times, can be even more overwhelming than the one that crossed the horizons of Tsushima. Short but incisive, the expansion sets up an intimate narrative, which delves even deeper into the tormented meanders of Jin's soul: it succeeds, and convinces us. The new map and the timid additions to the gameplay do not exponentially increase the variety and quality of an experience that, as expected, remains conservative, with the same merits and the same stumbling blocks as the base game. If the lock on has a fluctuating implementation, which does not solve the problems of a camera that is far from flawless, it is the art direction (again!) And the use of DualSense that make the difference: a sign of how Ghost of Tsushima , also and above all in the Director's Cut, is an adventure that stands out mainly for its evocative visual flashiness. And now - thanks to the PS5 pad - also sensory.- Everyeye.it

Ruthless, smashing and a little haphazard like many of his counterparts, the 2D shooter by Veewo Games and Team17 finds its figure above all in an original dungeon development system and, over distance, capable of following somewhat heterogeneous approaches to the game. It is only regrettable that, in the long run, experience tends to recycle a few situations too much, removing from progression that little bit more freshness that, given today's playful competition, would certainly not have spoiled.- Everyeye.it

F1 Manager 2023 is definitely a good product, but the improvements compared to the previous chapter have been more timid than we would have hoped. After laying the foundations with the debut chapter, Frontier has dedicated itself above all to polishing the edges, improving the general quality of life of the experience. The result is a solid title, similar to its predecessor, for better or for worse. The Race Replay and Scenario modes offer an interesting career alternative, but a "my team" mode, a multiplayer sector and the minor playable categories are still missing. The Saints Row reboot offers a fun experience, made even more varied by the numerous Criminal Enterprises and capable of bestowing smiles, given the presence of crazy weapons to discover and out of the ordinary Skills. In addition to the journey of brotherhood at the base of the story, the real element that pushes to extend the stay in Santo Ileso is the boundless customization, which will allow you to have the last word on the look of characters, weapons, cars and the Saints HQ. Anchored in some ways to stylistic features of the past, the latest Volition effort is affected by some critical issues both on the playful and purely graphic front and more generally fails to make the series reach new evolutionary peaks. The EA Sports revolution comes to life in FIFA 22 for next gen, but in our opinion we are facing a starting point and certainly not a goal for Canadian football. The innovations guaranteed by Hypermotion Technology, a real pillar of this year's offer, give the scenic impact and gameplay a realism that is unprecedented for the series. Unfortunately, the refinement in the animations and the artificial intelligence tricks clash with the idea of football that Electronic Arts has been repeating for a decade now: spectacular and frenetic, but too fast and not very inclined to strategy. In addition to the technical improvements, there is a content offer that has never been so rich and complex, but in large part a little too anchored to the past. In short, FIFA is heading towards excellence again without fully achieving it: it begins to transform its beating heart, but not its own head. And for a champion to become a champion, it is necessary to have both.- Everyeye.it

When the "grind&gun" works at its best, Sunset Overdrive is a joy to play, and the time needed to master the controls is well spent. On the other hand, the screenplay can't keep up the pace, offering boring characters and anticlimax, and the characters' growth in strength is slow and weak. The new Ratchet & Clank is half a reboot, half an original adventure. It has the old school gameplay, surprising new weapons and gadgets, and a huge variety of situations to support an interesting adventure. Vast and long-lived, Far Cry 6 is an open world where quantity is king: there are lots of playful ideas, and lots of customization possibilities, but often one gets the impression that Ubisoft tries at all costs to never end the battle of the guerrillas, even sacrificing the refinement of the game mechanics on the altar of accumulation. Far Cry 6 is therefore a fluctuating production: moments of high narrative involvement are accompanied by others of stasis, while the gameplay oscillates between good ideas and some uncertainty in the shooting phases and in artificial intelligence. It amuses and entertains, yet it does not overwhelm, nor exalt. It remains true that at times it still manages to make us perceive the penetrating smell of the revolution, one that smells of blood, tobacco and freedom.- Everyeye.it

By adapting Monster Hunter's playful formula to the Niantic model, which this time around has been revised to meet the needs of the most isolated players, the Californian studio has created its most frenetic and fun application this time. Presenting only thirteen large monsters and six categories of weapons, at present the content offering appears a little lacking, but knowing Niantic and its already confirmed intention to support the product with seasonal events that will introduce new stories, creatures, equipment and so on other, Monster Hunter Now seems to be traveling towards an overall rosy future.- Everyeye.it

Mothergunship, together with the most noble productions, is the proof that the FPS of the past can re-propose itself maintaining the same "anger" and hyperactivity that distinguish them.- Everyeye.it
