Band Hero is a product that doesn't add any relevant feature to the usual ones available in the Guitar Hero series, whose main difference is the audience it targets, less alternative and more oriented to radio hits or MTV’s videos. We must stress, however, that the game is sold at full price and that is released only two months after Guitar Hero 5, which make this product definitely less glamorous than expected.

Corruption 2029 is good tactical exercise with no soul, a lot of repetitions and, in the end, nothing to really write home about. Mutant Year Zero players who loved it, could take a look if they really want more of the same.

Ninja Storm was the only franchise to bring Naruto’s story to PC and consoles and this collection is a must-have for every fan in the world. Four games that reproduce the battles, the characters and the story with a good pace and an enjoyable experience. The collection itself is a bit lazy, with just a sprinkle of Full HD to separate the new version from the original one. Finally, the lack of a PS4 Pro patch for Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is a pity.

Noita is a magical platform adventure that always encourages the player to start a new run, except for a missing permanent growth factor.

Maquette is an intense love story mixed with Esher-esque puzzles. Short, not perfect but original and sweet.

After 24 years, Romancing SaGa 2 finally comes to the West with a few add-ons and a subtle graphics restyling. This is an old-school RPG which offers a different take of the classic formula, building the progression system around the skill points instead of the experience. This is surely not for everybody, but if you can live with heavy grinding, high difficult curve and laggy controls, this game could really entertain you for several weeks nowadays, still.

Yasumi Matsuno and Level-5 crafted a little RPG gem, but the great amount of text and the slow pace prevent us from recommending it to everyone.

This new version of the classic twin-stick shooter is slightly better than the one available on Wii U, but if you love the genre and you don’t own the Nintendo console, this could be an interesting product even with a poor amount of content.

Mario Tennis Aces is a solid but incomplete title, which also lacks that note of color and imagination that we loved in Mario Power Tennis for GameCube. The technical and rewarding control system promotes competitive confrontation, and if Nintendo plans to frequently update the game with new contents and events, we will surely have a lot of fun for a long time.

Capcom did it again. Such a great game and such a poor porting! JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD simply isn't worth the money Capcom is asking for. The game is great, but the lack of the awesome Story Mode of the old PlayStation version is a shame.

Crossing Souls is a tribute to an entire era and for this reason only some players will adore Fourattic's work. It has plenty of clever references and a wonderful pixel art but the plot fall flat too many times and the gameplay doesn't shine despite a lot of variety. Nostalgic players will love this game; the others not so much.

Mitchell created the craziest Puzz Loop clone ever made. The addition of full motion video to a very solid game structure, gives a lot of personality to an otherwise banal title. Unfortunately, the fun ends soon.

Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?! is not only the game with the longest title we’ve ever reviewed, but it is also an enjoyable adventure/RPG.

Just like Valiant Heart from Ubisoft, My Memory of Us tackles a heavy subject with the tenderness of a friendship and (too) easy gameplay mechanics.

With its moments of intense and fast paced action Goldeneye 007: Reloaded proves to be a well crafted FPS, incapable however of competing with many of the most recent shooters, both in single and multiplayer. In another age or time this could have been a blast, but with BF3 and MW3 out there, it's hard to believe anyone would want to spend their money here.

The idea to carry on Zemeckis' opera in a typical serial videogame from Telltale may be good, but puzzles and difficulty are too easy to prove a real challenge.

Graphically Beep is quite simple, but you know from the start that its physics and gameplay will force you to play level after level. The control system it's not customizable as we would have liked, but aside from that, Beep it's a worthy new asset in the ever growing Steam indie scene.

Just Dance 2014 is the classic Just Dance with few brand new features. The online multiplayer is almost useless due to the Party Game soul of the franchise. Playing Just Dance without sharing the same room with other players is simply sad. The On-Stage mode is funny enough and using the Wii U GamePad to record funny videos of other players playing the game is truly addictive. If you love this franchise, you know what you're going to buy.

Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection finally arrives on Nintendo consoles with some compromises too many to accept. Ezio's saga is splendid but unfortunately the weight of the years is felt.

Minute of Islands is a beautiful experience that reminds us to be human. We are weak but we are also brave.

Ground Zeroes gives us a good preview of Phantom Pain, but it's too expensive for only few hours of gameplay. It's a good game but is it a good Metal Gear?

Michael Jackson The Experience is a sort of spin-off of Just Dance gameplay with "just" Michael Jackson in it. The game works quite well and is fun enough to capture every fan of the King of Pop, even if the track list have some huge absence.

A motocross game like many others, with a good graphic, a simple and not so rewarding handling but with a multiplayer that is still capable to offer a good amount of fun.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier seems to suffer the CoD syndrome. In the main Campaign most of the events are clones of various situations already played with the Modern Warfare trilogy. The good multiplayer experience, anyway, is fair enough to grant a good amount of fun, both with friends or against perfect strangers.

Into the Pit is a fascinating roguelite, with a truly inspired graphic style, but the absence of a true challenge and the repetitiveness of the dungeons make it an indie suitable only for fans of the genre.

A pleasant return to an hardcore and challenging videogame from Team Meat, the authors of Super Meat Boy.

A fast-paced and fun puzzle game with over 700 Pokémon to collect and stages to master. Too bad for the lack of online multiplayer and some minor issues.

Testo: Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 completes the main series adding the last four chapters til the tenth. Although four games feels like not enough for a collection of games already available on other platforms, there are some nice add-ons and the fan-service is quite good. The budget price also helps to keep this pack pretty compelling.

Seven: The Days Long Gone is a unique mixture of genre and mechanics (action/RPG, stealth, parkour) that could have been a real revolution for the entire isometric RPG genre. Despite a lot of interest ideas the execution has to many flaws to really accomplish all of its ambitions.

PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC marks the pleasant and successful return of the title dated 1999, which will entertain both new and old fans. A pleasant and solid remake of a little classic, whose structure should look too simple if compared to modern games, but that’s always fun is played today.

A fresh and entertaining action platform experience with some controls issues and a stiff difficulty level.

Although it can't be defined as one of the best strategy games on the market, Disciples III proves to be a very decent game that will surely deliver a compelling and long lasting experience to both fans and newcomers to the franchise.

Omega Force's Musou series meets Royal Rumble. The result is another chaotic, repetitive but entertaining experience with a lot of charismatics guest stars.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD is a remastered version for current-gen consoles of the 2006 Wii classic game. This new version adds games modes, online leaderboards for speedrunners and tunes the control for each platform. The PS4 version abandons motion controls, a good move for the main game but a bad move for the minigames. At least, we now have Sonic the Hedgehog as a playable character.

The Switch version of this nice old school JRPG runs at 30fps. Despise that, this is the best version of the game. You can play it at home or wherever you like, along with an interesting FREE DLC.

The graphics are mind-blowing, the atmosphere adorable and the combat system surely rewarding, yet as it is Twin Blades feels like a wasted opportunity where style wins over substance.

A suggestive (but a little too quiet) sequel that follows the path of Far: Lone Sails' unique appeal and stretches its simple gameplay mechanics.

The new content would be more than enough to guarantee Dead Rising 4: Frank's Big Package a rating higher than the previous edition. Unfortunately, some of the defects found on Xbox One and PC have not been fixed.

If you like tennis games and can't get enough of Virtua-goodness, maybe this will be one of your Vita's launch titles, but if you've already played the PS3/X360 versions, there's not enough (new) meat here to sink your teeth into.

Urban Trial Freestyle has nothing new to offer other than Trials Evolution, but is filled with an addictive gameplay and a good longevity. The PS Vita version has some technical issues, but it's worth the price.

The PC porting of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition has great graphics and offers the same good feelings of the 2 years old console versions, but a couple of technical issues and a bad net code ruin the final experience.

Tetris and garbage. The DNA of this production is pretty defined, cheap price. What else?

Wii Karaoke U is a classic karaoke game with a couple of interesting twists. The subscription model is pretty much the same of services such as Xbox LIVE Gold, and the huge track list is a good way to let every kind of player to enjoy the app.

Don't Starve flies too low to take advantage of all that's good in its gameplay, but is a good game anyway, recommended to all those looking for a challenge despite a depressed world and the lack of a true goal.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst is a remastered version with a few add-ons to the original game published on PSP and Vita back in 2011. It is a hunting action RPG with an interesting backstory and a lot of pathos.

Archangel is a good Hack & Slash for mobile devices that maybe will not be a milestone in its genre but will offer hours of fun for those looking for some action on their mobile devices.

Have you ever found yourself wasting time on YouTube watching videos of complicated mechanisms built by industrious people in their living rooms? If you always wanted to join the fun, but lacked the space or craftsmanship, Crazy Machines 3 may be the right answer.

Zanki Zero: Last Beginning is a game with lots of good ideas, some well done, others less convincing. By combining multiple genres together, the risk is not to full satisfy anyone, but despite all of these problem, it has all the potential to not be easily forgotten.

Nice gameplay, clean graphics and a beautiful soundtrack make Shinobido 2 a little surprise for Vita's early adopter.

Despite a new graphic style and a slightly better combat scheme, Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 delivers the same experience of previous game: good narrative and decent gameplay... but fans of Lovecraft needs something more “peculiar” and terrifying.

The Outer Worlds is a solid and well written experience but it lacks Fallout's depth and lore.

With its over-the-top action, Saint's Row: The Third guarantees a fun and engaging gaming experience that some may however dislike because of its many conceptual and artistic excesses.

Dragon Ball Fusions brings some fresh air into the Dragon Ball videogame series. Unlike many predecessors, it does not play safe, putting to the table a strong and interesting story mode and a solid turn-based battle system.

Resident Evil 6 is a long and funny cooperative action game, but you have to overlook the outdated gameplay and level design to fully appreciate it.

Need for Speed is a compelling driving experience that needs to be beefed up to stand with its competitors.

A competitive free-to-play “Tetris-99-like” twist in the original Bomberman formula, with LOTS of cool characters and bonuses from Konami's universe. Entertaining despite some annoying issues in the net code.

HarmoKnight is not as complex as Beatmania, nor out of mind as Rhythm Paradise, but it does good work with the crossover between platform and rhythm game. The points which Game Freak may work on for a possible follow-up are many, it would be easy for them to propose something, in a short time, that does not deviate much from this title, but is more refined and studied in mechanicals.

Code of Princess is a good brawler game which resembles the iconic Guardian Heroes from Treasure. The combat system is both easy and interesting and grants enough fun to entertain any kind of player. Few issues with the multiplayer modes ruin the experience, but the final result is still good enough.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is the best golf game on consoles but is far from being perfect, with few additions to the formula that introduce new problems. The game needs a deep reboot to shine again!

While gorgeous to look at, Anno 2205 feels like a simplified version of the city builder the series used to be. New players will find it entertaining, but veterans may be a little disappointed by the lack of depth.

Onslaught offers basically the same multiplayer experience you've been playing for months. If you don't like playing against human opponents and if you're looking for a co-op mode against bots, this DLC gives you 4 maps to beat. It should have been free for VIP code owners, though.

Finally we have a Burnout spiritual successor. The sense of speed is huge and the nostalgic feelings are very strong. And even if it is not a perfect game and there are some flaws, every Burnout fan should seriously buy this game and will surely have a great time.

NaissancE is able to recreate the feeling of loneliness and to make you feel lost in a forsaken world, thanks to a good musical background that remarks the restlessness and the rarefied atmosphere.

Omensight is a wasted opportunity. Every aspect has the potential poorly exploited: from the deep gameplay to the technical side. A real rough diamond, appreciable as long as you ignore some faults.

The first part of the Bioshock Infinite’s first single-player DLC takes us back to Rapture but it’s way too short to be truly enjoyable and engaging.

Thanks to a bargain price, the console versions of Gotham City Impostors are a good choice for all the less-than-serious shooters fans. If you are considering the purchase of the PC version, remember Team Fortress 2.

Deponia Doomsday is a humorous nonsensical narrative-based point & click adventure that will challenge players to understand its absurd world, figuring out puzzles and minigames. If you are into these kind of odd themes, it could well be a very enjoyable trip. Else, your mileage may vary.

Shining Resonance Refrain is definitely not the best JRPG in the world, but has a multifaceted gameplay. However every component is a bit too "light" to leave an indelible mark.

F1 2016 is a step forward compared to the 2015 version of the game, but needs a solid overhaul of the driving model to reach the must have status, especially for less casual drivers.

Wuppo is a coin with two faces. On one side we have the simplicity of the plot and the rough design, on the other side we have an adventure with goals that can be found only with the right amount of observation and challenging bosses. Which side will you pick?

Avalanche wraps an even more explosive Just Cause title, with extreme weather conditions that produce stunning effects on the island of Solís. Just Cause 4, however, can’t manage to overcome the critical aspects of the past chapters, mostly for the uncompelling plot.

All-Star Fruit Racing is a good attempt, a title that tries to rise from the mass of the clones of the famous Mario Kart and, at times, it manages rather well.

To End All Wars is aimed to a public of experts: the interface is complex, game mechanics are unforgiving and from the very beginning the experience is purely and deeply tactical. If you’re the kind of player who loves to dive into such a game than this is what you are looking for; everyone else should think carefully and maybe give it a try.

Cooperative puzzles are the core of this game, which offer incredible fun if you have three friends, but it’s just average if you are alone.
