Dust: An Elysian Tail is good but not great. The graphics are gorgeous, but every other aspect of the game feels like it is incomplete, or simply ruined from bad design choices. Anyway, the experience is still good enough to grant some honest fun. 1200 MP are way too much, 800 would be much better.

Once again, Falcom proves its talent for making great games, with tight production times and limites budgets: a must-have for the devoted fans of the series and an accessible starting point for new players.

Are the beautiful views of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter justified by the pure beauty of them? We have to ask this question after being guided through a predictable story by an invisible hand. We’ll probably remember this game for the astounding visuals, rather than for its gameplay.

Jagged Alliance Back in Action is a good real time strategy game, but it's not the old Jagged. If you are able to give a clean break with the past, you could enjoy it. Else, give up.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue: Remastered offers a great story with an interesting main character. The dark journey of Shay Cormac is one of the best in the series, now even more with the enhanced graphics. Despite this, the gameplay structure isn’t aged properly: while the naval combat is still fun, we cannot say the same of the ground fights and activities.

A charming metroidvania action-adventure with hand-drawn fantasy settings and an interesting cast of characters. The experience is perfectible due to some unbalanced boss fights and (too) tight-timing platform sections.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is a step backward for both MercurySteam and Konami. The previous game was a nice reboot, but with this second chapter the developers have ruined a good gameplay with poor stealth segments, a boring set of modern stages and bad designed boss fights (Pan's brother!). The nice combat along with a good enhancing system are still enough to let the game reach a 70/100 score.

A good episode with a spoonful of originality, The Penal Zone is probably the best start of TellTaleGames' history. Taking Max's control directly is so amazing and explosive that any other feature looks less important: adventure games have founded a old/new (crazy) house. Utawarerumono:Prelude to the Fallen is an excellent remake of the visual novel that started a much loved saga in Japanese territory. This remake is an excellent opportunity for many curious people to learn about the game, never officially localized in any western language until now.

Smoke and Sacrifice is a discreetly crafted survival-game, absolutely canonical in gameplay, enhanced by an intriguing storyline.

The best installment in the Bigben-Kylotonn WRC era has come a little late to the party, but it makes a great founding stone to build a brighter future for the franchise, solving most if not all of the driving and physics issues.

A dungeon crawler in kawaii sauce. Entertaining, but it could have been much better.

Atomicrops is a frantic mix of roguelite and tower defense gameplays. It has a wonderful pixel-art and a nice, fitting soundtrack. It is a solid game, but the farming-sim gameplay fragments the exploration and jam its potential.

At the end, we should probably have split the final score in two parts and fixing it it's a very hard job. The Path is an experience more than a videogame as it is defined. The Path is not for everyone: you have not objectives, achievements and stuff like that. Someone could find this boring, someone else could think about an analysis of the life, when every step is a choice.

Darksiders II deserves a better remake on current-gen consoles. This Deathinitive Edition lacks some polish but still deserves attention from those who haven’t yet experienced the original version.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV is yet another Falcom production overflowing with good ideas, interesting characters and a very solid world-building, which clashes with the harsh truth of a limited budget that cripples the production quality and, overall, the variety of the experience.

One of the most divisive chapters in the Resident Evil saga arrives on the Nintendo Switch, for the first time playable as a portable game. An enjoyable more of the same with some annoying issues.

The core idea of the dualism merchant/hero is great but Moonlighter is not able to stand out in a genre where the competition is extremely fierce. The combat and the level design of the dungeons fall flat in many occasions and the epilogue of Will's adventure seems a little bit rushed.

A survival game with narrative and roguelike elements that will not disappoint former fans of the Out There saga, despite being hard to digest for newbies.

Sniper Elite V2 is an original third person shooter with some good ideas. A poor story and some gameplay glitches spoil an interesting experience.

Hot Wheels Unleashed tries to bring back the memories of childhood with a fast and colored game. Unfortunately it does not succeed completely, resulting too simple and repetitive.

The Force is still quite strong in this one... despite the lack of the “WOW Effect” of the original game.

Despite the lack of innovation, Amplitude it’s still a good rhythm game with a decent electronic tracklist and the classic gameplay from the original PS2 title. Too bad for the price and the limited selection of music genres.

Nelly Cootalot: the Fowl Fleet is a nice little game with great production values in writing and dubbing. Gameplay is basic and uninspired, but the narrative is a blast and you will have an hilarious time playing it.

A bloody mini collection perfect for standard and VR zombies-slaughterers… but not worth it to those who own either game.

Plague Inc: Evolved is a fun strategy game. Also on PC and console it amuses and entertains, despite the gameplay highlights, more than once, its handheld origins.

Milestone has polished many aspects of the previous game, but there are still many other things to improve. Despite some technical issues, MXGP 2 is a good racing title filled with a fun gameplay and tons of contents.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is a nice action-RPG with some new mechanics and a nice, steampunkish setting. Nevertheless, the lack of an interesting story and an almost linear gameplay prevent the game from reaching the same level of Diablo III or Torchlight II.

New dungeons, weapons and collectible. Imperial City would be so perfect already, but it is much more. Thanks to a high average level of difficulty, partially rewrites the rules of gameplay, forcing users, as never before, to work together.

The biggest part of this game, like the environments or the 3D models, is the same that we've found in its predecessor. The story is afflicted by a lot of exhausting dialogues and the narration can be enjoyed only by a youngest ones. Luckily the growing and the combat systems are solid and funny, recommended to all Digimons' fans impatient to create they're own group of killing machines.

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is the definitive edition of the fourth chapter in the Omega-Force series.Rich in content but sold at a high price, it could be the best time to experiment this bizarre but fun cross-over.

Is WET a must buy? Nope, but it could be a good choice at the moment, without impressive releases and if you need an easy game to spend some hours with fun. The only rule is that you have to like Tarantino of course!

Stories: The Path of Destinies is a curious narrative experiment, an action-RPG which doesn’t manage to overcome the average of this type of production in term of gameplay still providing, despite everything, a choice-driven plot with some good ideas.

Gamedec is a good and ingenious crpg. Unfortunately, despite being also a good cyberpunk detective story, there are sequences that feel underdeveloped and unpolished.

Phoenix Point: Behemoth Edition is a strategic RPG with uninspired artificial intelligence, technical problems and with some drops in framerate on PlayStation 4. Despite an engaging story, it is a porting that doesn't bring big news.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong succeeds in making us feel in front of a board game, bringing all the mysteries, conspiracies and atmospheres of the World of Darkness. Unfortunately, the graphics slow down the enthusiasm, like a script that very often is not particularly exciting.

Hoa is a good puzzle-platform with enchanting artdirection, though too derivative of Studio Ghibli’s stylistic elements. Hoa is also a wholesome game without death or danger, but in doing so it forgets to add interesting gameplay alternatives to truly replace conflict.

Abe's return in Oddworld Soulstorm is far from being a perfect experience but it's still an enjoyable mix of action, puzzles and platform. The game needs more polish on the I.A. side to become something special.

I Am Setsuna is a huge throwback onto 90’s classic jRPGs, and it’s clearly and loudly inspired by Chrono Trigger. The battle system is deep and satisfying, the soundtrack is great and the storyline is interesting even if a little bit predictable. There are some frustrations in the farming system and loot crates. Furthermore, budget limits are evident in the environments and enemy patterns.

Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage is easy, lighthearted and quite funny to play, in single or in local co-op mode. A good chance to dust off your Balance Board.

Downpour marks progress compared to what we saw with Homecoming and the latest chapters. Anyone expecting a return to the origins of Silent Hill, however, must wait again. Vatra's mission, with ups and downs, can be considered accomplished but the survival horror's perfection, that lethal mix of anxiety and irrational fear making you turn off the console in the middle of the night, it's quite another thing.

Nonetheless, thanks to virtual reality, Farpoint is the first glimpse of what the FPS genre could be in the future. And for this reason, we recommend you to give this game a try.
