    Donkey Kong County Tropical Freeze is an ode to the old platform games. Every single element from this genre has been pushed into the game from the developers. Too many water levels ruin the otherwise awesome gameplay rhythm. If you're looking for something new and different you should buy Sonic Lost World, Rayman Legends or Super Mario 3D World.

    Sonic Colors Ultimate is a remastered version of one of the best 3D Sonic games released over the last fifteen years. Resolution, frame-rate and graphics are up to date and with several add-ons this game feels brilliant and very enjoyable, becoming a must have for every Sonic the Hedghehog fan.

    Daniel Mullins has done it again! After Pony Island and The Hex, Inscryption is another strange and profoundly unique adventure that everyone should play.     Pro Cycling Manager 2011 is a very solid game and is able to give the real feelings of a cycling season. It's not a perfect game but it's probably the best one from Cyanide so far.

    Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS is still great, but leaving from the Wii U to the less powerful 3DS has been rough. The new graphics are less shiny and you can’t share your new levels online.     The PS3 version of Child of Eden looks good, sounds great anche is really nice to play. The gameplay basics are also the same, but the general feeling is really different from the one we experienced playing using Kinect. The game is great, anyway. If you're looking for a unique videogame, don't miss this one!

    One of the most beloved Dreamcast franchises returns with fancy new HD graphics, the original OST and all the charm of its original gameplay. There are some problems with the audio balance and some stuttering when played from a fragmented hard drive, but although not perfect (and it has never been) this game is still a masterpiece.

    PES 2013 fixes many problems of the previous game, but Konami's football needs a new engine to compete with FIFA 13. An old animation system and a lazy physics are problems that all the good ideas in this edition of the game couldn't overwhelm. PES 2013 is the best old-school football game to date.

    Rogue Legacy was awesome on PC and it still rocks on the PlayStation consoles. The PS Vita version of the game has small frame rate issues, but the powerful handheld is the best platform for a game like this. Oh! And the Cross-Buy and Cross-Save features are simply perfect.

    My Time at Portia is a social sim, an rpg, a craf-based adventure game. There are a lot of things to do and a mysterious plot to discover. This is a very ambitious, relaxing and “genuine” game. Everything is well refined and fun: with some constant polish and improvement it could become a must for all lovers of crafting games.

    Project X Zone 2 is like The Expendable: a huge cast of superstar that somehow is in the same place to kick asses. It's not important that there is a good excuse to link them all, the main thing is that they have to make a lot of noises, explosions and cool stuff. And Project X Zone 2 does all this in a very good way.

    Sakura Wars (2019) wants to refresh the franchise, while maintaining its core identity and narrative continuity. The rhythm and style of the story is perfect for a fan ofJapanese, anime-style productions and the characters, despite their tropes, let themselves be loved. The choice to simplify the battles so much is questionable, putting them practically in the background from every other point of view, but the Trust system, the stylish character design and the excellent dubbing manage to balance the accounts.

    Soulstice finally brings a bit of Italy into the realm of hack 'n' slash, fully succeeding thanks to the excellent characterization of the game world and a layered and satisfying gameplay.     MotoGP 21 is the incarnation of the “less is more” creative philosophy. Milestone decided to direct every effort towards the race, improving the physics and the driving systems, making good use of every next-gen feature, including a brilliant PS5's DualSense implementation. This, however, gave birth to a very minimalistic and detailed experience, something that will surely appeal hardcore fans but might result redundant in the hands of more casual players.

    The plot is slow-burning, the combat system may seem too simplified, the side quests are boring and repetitive. Even the stunning graphics are stained by some performance issues. But it is only by looking at the game as a whole that we can understand its true value. It is as if Ni No Kuni II were able to fill its own gaps thanks to the great variety of experiences that it has to offer to the gamers.

    The Annihilation Pack is a very good DLC created for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The lack of interactive elements in the new levels is a step backward for this game (remember the zip-lines in Kowloon or the elevators in Hotel or the deadly turrets in Berlin Wall?).     Eastward is a marvelous action-adventure game designed in 16-bit pixel-art and set in a future and collapsed cyberpunk world. You play as Sam and John, two characters linked by a mysterious bound that decide to travel around the world to solve the strange things happening in the underworld. The art style is clearly inspired by 16-bit jRPGs and animation of the 90s. The adventure is full of smart puzzles to solve using the powers of the two friends, and will keep you busy and entertained for several hours.
