Ditch the podcasts or netflix for some games that seem to want you to enjoy in parallel to the experience. Were this a free offer on a mobile device, maybe to tease a coming new The Dark Eye game, this would have right and reason to exist. As it is – for ten, respectively 20 bucks – it's just a deplorable exploitation of a well known name to sell people a shoddy product.- Eurogamer Germany

Just like in the books and on TV, the story manages to dangle a carrot of hope in front of you, just out of arms' reach. In contrast to a world beyond repair – like in The Walking Dead, where every death is more of a salvation, really – Game of Thrones' rays of hope turn all its facets of demise into emotional shrapnel that hits you all the harder. It's going to be a cold, hard Winter.- Eurogamer Germany

After an absolutely splendid first half, Hack 'n' Slash suddenly starts to get pretty much impenetrable by Act 4, if you don't know your way around the logic of an algorithm. Right there, in the middle, the game just skips a few steps of badly needed explaining and – at times – just drains all the fun from the proceedings.
