    Your ship is armed with standard guns, as well as a powerful homing laser that can lock on to up to four enemies at a time. When a green target appears, fire the laser and watch it pursue your enemies and bring them down!

    Connect to Miiverse to communicate with other players. Upon completing a stage, you can choose to post your play data and a comment to Miiverse, sharing your accomplishment for other players to see. Enable the display of Miiverse content in-game and you'll see other players' data as you play, letting you see their scores and where they were defeated. Try to beat them all and become the very best!

    Despite its accessible gameplay, within the general traits of a classic shoot'em up, Gaiabreaker does not stand out. Its control scheme, which will get the players feel like stuck in several situations and its rather short lifespan, along with the lack of an online mode make it less attractive to the crowd.

    While it hits all the marks to be at least competent as a shoot 'em up, GAIABREAKER doesn't really go out of the way to make itself particularly interesting or fun to play, with fairly bland stages and little challenge.

    With too few unique features to recommend against its contemporaries, along with control issues, difficulty problems, and a frankly boring, bland and uninspired design, this is a game best left only to shoot 'em up devotees who have exhausted the Wii U's representation of the genre.

    This has been done so much better so many times, the world just doesn't need Gaiabreaker.
