Battle for the Pacific brings zilch to an already overstuffed corner of the market. Don't let the discounted price or the The History Channel branding fool you, the game is a poor attempt at historical immersion.

Black Ops Declassified isn't a Call of Duty game. It's like one of those grey-market cameras that has an almost-recognizable brand name on the front. And Activision, in all of their laziness, may have inadvertently kicked off the Vita's funeral procession.

The latest game is entitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Melee and like the last two games, threatens to send the Turtles back into hibernation or wherever the hell they went last time.

The first-person shooting genre is aching for some innovation, and Deep Silver’s foundation could have been that trailblazer. Unfortunately, the storyline, game mechanics, and the audio-visual quality issues just don’t cut it. Homefront: The Revolution is better suited for the bargain bin rather than the hefty price tag AAA games are known for.

Best played at an arcade where you probably wouldn't spend more than a dollar on it. I can't recommend this title even at the bargain-bin price you're bound to find it.

A cash grab...a shallow game. It's a novelty that will disappoint many in the long run.

Instead of a game that takes its inspiration from the show that it's based on, it appear to have been more inspired by "GTA" than anything else. And if you can imagine how bad a budget title of "GTA" would be, you can imagine how bad American Chopper is.

To paraphrase an old psychology axiom, if the game sounds bad, looks bad and plays bad, it probably is bad.

It does have a good variety of modes but the controls are awful and the gameplay is repetitive, repetitive, repetitive, repetitive.

If the graphics and animation were better on Beyond the Battlebox, this game would stand a chance. Unfortunately it's about as basic as you can get.

The bottom line on this game is that it makes a great appetizer but you'll want "Tony 4" or "Aggressive Inline" for the main course.

The combinations of situations should be endless but unfortunately the game restricts all the freedom of the series and with it, all of the fun, mainly because all of Timmy's powers are taken away for the duration of the game. How lame is that?

Although the driving engine isn't bad at all, the automatic targetting system is more than a little chaotic and clunky.

Unfortunately there is nothing memorable about this game. The characters are one-dimensional and the story runs its course in about five hours - but the game just keeps going and going and going. The title of the game should be changed to Escape From the Center of this Game.

Aside from those tree huggers that cling to "classics," the average gamer of today would have little use for such long, drawn out RPGs that just simply can't compete with today's RPGs. There's a reason the RPGs are really popular now and that's because they've evolved from what they were.

If you get frustrated easily, like when the ink runs out of your pen, then this game's for you. It will only last a few hours and then you can go back outside and continue trying to hit rocks with a stick.

If you get more than three hours of entertainment out of this game you must be using the disk for a beer coaster.

It's more frustrating than challenging and it certainly isn't a whole lot of fun for any player of any age.

What game would include a version of Pong as part of its compilation? That has to tell you something. I can live with Breakout - but Pong? That's digging to the bottom of the barrel.

I can't think of a more awful looking game. The textures are so low res that the water looks like a meadow. It reminds me of Atari's Duck Hunt. At any moment I expect the snickering dog to appear holding a fish in his paws - snickering at what a fool I've been to have purchased this game.

The AI follows a scripted battle plan that remains virtually unchanged regardless of what strategies you implement against them. To that end the game doesn't have much of a real-time feel.

A collecting RPG in the tradition of Pokemon - shamefully so. But instead of expanding on this style of gameplay that's already been done to death, The Shaman King sees fit to simplify it so that it offers a challenge akin to turning a water faucet on and off.

While "The Sims" can get deep, The Urbz: Sims in the City is a very light version of the original. This game is designed for girls that haven't yet grown out of the Barbie phase. The Urbz is the shallowest version of The Sims yet.

Don't even bother going online. The game is virtually unplayable.

FlatOut has all the makings of a great budget games, except that it's not great and that it's not budget priced.

It is quite unfortunate that the company that essentially invented the music genre has produced such a poor title, but Rock Revolution just doesn’t have any redeeming qualities. From the poor music selection to the bad visuals, this game doesn’t stand well on its own, and can’t even be considered good as a supplement to current music titles.

From the graphics to the gameplay this is a game that would be more at home on the PSX than either the Xbox or the PS2. About the only good thing about this game is that it's a budget title. I wouldn't expect any serious gamer to get more than an hour's worth of entertainment from this.

The Falsebound Kingdom is almost a prophetic title as this inferior product is forced upon the multitude of loyal supporters that are blind to the deception and exploitation employed by the Yu-Gi-Oh Empire.

Even at the budget price of fifteen bucks, save your money and hunt down an arcade version of either games. At least you'll have a few hours worth of fun instead of an eternity of mediocrity.
