Sadly, this is a good game, it's just not unique and there's very little you haven't seen before.

While I appreciate some of the new additions to this version, it’s not enough to make me forget how much this game reminds me of "Deception," "Shaolin Monks" and "Deadly Alliance."

Most importantly, you get from Hohokum what you put into it. Players who investigate the nooks and crannies, seeing everything in each world, will be rewarded.

Though not a “graphical” enhancement in the truest sense, EA’s Autosculpting mode is the Tiger Woods “Gameface” of racing games. By allowing gamers to adjust nearly everything on their car, from the width of the spoiler to the height of the blower on that ’69 Charger, Carbon allows gamers to truly make their ride their own.

Is Resident Evil: Revelations better for the console than it is for the 3DS? Nah, not really. It adds a few extra features and gives it a coat of HD paint, but at its core it is still the same game. But is it worth playing on console? Absolutely.

Part of the magic of Heavy Rain and even The Taxidermist is the experiences are always different for each player the first time through. I can say I anxiously await Chapter Two, I just hope it is a little longer and maybe next time with Norman Jayden and Madison Page.

Stuntman: Ignition is a great game for fans of the automotive genre. But it makes itself very accessible for those who may not pride themselves on their excellent driving skills or incredibly precise gaming.

Tomb Raider Underworld was far more enjoyable than I ever thought it would be. The expansive environments, solid platforming sequences, challenging puzzles, and adventure-filled storyline should appeal to anyone who loved the Prince of Persia games and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Disappointingly, combat is fairly mediocre, and a lot of technical inconsistencies are troublesome. Nevertheless, Underworld is a very good game.

The control system is responsive and accurate. The graphics still illustrate some spine chilling scenes and disturbing animation of the undead characters. This game is almost guaranteed to give you nightmares.

Sure they are the forefathers of today's Grand Theft Autos and MechAssaults, but I don't crap in an outhouse like my great grandpappy did more than 100 years ago.

Quite simply, if you are a Naruto fan, you're going to get a lot of entertainment value out of Ultimate Ninja.

In the end it's just a rail shooter, but the campaign takes about eight hours and there are plenty of reasons to play it again.

This game is cute, from the gurgly little noises the eggs make to the vibrant use of primary colors. But don't let that throw you. This game is serious fun.

I didn't find this game particularly challenging but it's still loads of fun.

Where Dreamfall excels is in telling a story. The imaginative characters and locations are truly memorable and create a unique experience that makes the ride more enjoyable than the destination.

While not as robust as the PC versions, this game packs a ton of gameplay with high replay potential onto a single cart.

So, I guess you have to ask yourself one question--How big of a Metal Gear fan are you? If you can wait, the price of this game will almost certainly go down quickly. But if you can’t wait and you have the extra money, you will love Ground Zeroes no matter how short it is. It gives us a glimpse of the greatness that is sure to come in The Phantom Pain, let’s us get our Metal Gear fix, and shows us the future of stealth games on next-gen consoles.

Instead of simply porting over one of their best-selling PS2 titles, NamcoBandai took a couple extra steps to move the series forward as it made it portable. With only the small misstep in the customizable planes department, Skies of Deception could very well be seen as one of the best titles in the series.

A welcome treat, if only for its nerve-grinding atmosphere. The campaign is far too short-with Fettel, you could probably whiz through it in three or four hours-but the multiplayer modes are a lot of fun.

Battle of Britain 2 does a good job of making you feel part of one of the most decisive campaigns the free world has ever known. But it still allows you to display your cocky side when you mix it up solo style.

The story mode is fun, funny and yet not absurd enough to wonder what drugs were abused during development time.

Much like you, I wish this was an official MLB game - which would definitely make it one of the best baseball games ever released - but it's still a great game of ball no matter how you look at it.

In the end, the question of whether to give Dementium II a shot is a simple one. Do you want to play a survival horror game on the DS? If the answer is yes, this is the best place to go. If not, this is a good game, but not a must-buy.

A darn good game that covers the events in the first three Star Wars prequels - as they might have taken place in a Lego universe.

Despite small hiccups in both the visuals and the soundtrack, Persona 2: Innocent Sin is a solid port of the Persona game Americans never got to play.

Even though LEGO Batman does a few new things to set it apart from past entries in the LEGO series, it feels like Traveller's Tales is giving us more of the same.

In technical respects Tropico 5 feels more like an expansion rather than a successor in the series. Many parts of the gameplay feel similar to past titles, but the inclusion of the era system, an overall campaign that is brimming with choices and consequences, as well as a plausible maiden attempt at multiplayer gives long time fans something new to try out.

In the end, Resident Evil Revelations 2: Episode 2 is another “of course” purchase. If you liked Episode 1, picking this episode up will be a no brainer, and frankly the game is only getting better. If you didn’t, Episode 2 isn’t going to turn heads and convert naysayers. It’s just more of the same with a welcome tweak to difficulty, and honestly, that’ s exactly what I wanted.

A polished, enjoyable shooter with a fast pace and unique mechanics that are easy to learn and fun to employ. Whatever minor fumbles it may make, the compelling design overrides them to the point where the game is easy to recommend. Plus, it's free. Who doesn't like free?

There's plenty to do when playing alone or in split-screen multiplayer. The only real downside is that the online multiplayer is restricted to just racing.

The Dunwall City Trials are a bit like the Disneyland version of Dishonored. They've cut out some of the most compelling parts of the game, such as exploring the expansive levels and learning the secrets of Dunwall's citizens. There are no interesting moral choices to make and no lore-filled books to read, but there are some fun challenges that remain true to the spirit of the game.

It's about eight to ten hours of pure, fast-paced action no one should look down on, unless you're just not a fan of the genre. With such an appealing story and addictive gameplay, Dante's Inferno's only sin seems to be its shameless similarity to Sony's celebrated franchise.

Even taking the grueling difficulty level into account, Infinite Space is a must-play for any fan of RPGs who has grown tired of overly-cute standard fare.

It falls just short of the mark. We know its going to be gorgeous, and it is, but we expected to see something more than five hours of straightforward FPS gameplay, especially when the scares aren’t quite as good as we remember in the original.

Paying tribute to our brave men and women in uniform-who often go through situations that are unimaginable to all of us sitting at home with controllers in our hands-is a great thing. The step that EA has taken towards establishing a precedent for exploring topical subject matter in a video game may be a small one, but it's still important. But almost everything else about Medal of Honor, while enjoyable, makes it hard to shake the feeling of playing just another military shooter.

A marked improvement over episode 2. Simply delightful.

This game can be very addictive, but it's also a bit disappointing. There's no goal in the game other than making Girl grow, and there's no competition either.

The platforming is absolutely satisfying, but the simplified combat scheme and occasional glitches will leave you wanting for more. Challenge mode and unlockable Ezio skin (via UPlay) extend replay value ever-so-slightly.

Tropico 3 offers gamers hours of strategic goodness on Xbox 360. However, playing by yourself will probably only hold your interest for short stints.

You will get so caught up in the story you won't be thinking "Dungeons and Dragons." Can't wait for the next one.

The problem? I thought you'd never ask. No "Sonic CD." If you've ever played "Sonic CD" on the Sega CD you'll know why it NEEDS to be in this collection of great Sonic Genesis titles.

While it handles and looks well, with an Arcade mode and online elements that are rather solid, the Campaign isn’t fulfilling and too much gets locked away the second online connectivity has been taken away. There are too few cars and tracks here, something that will hopefully be remedied with both free and paid updates. If it gets the proper support, it could end up being a respectable entry in the series. At the moment, Gran Turismo Sport feels like a precursor to greater things.

Those who can look beyond the basic presentation and steep difficulty curve will find Etrian Odyssey to be one of the lengthiest and most immersive role playing experiences on the DS to date.

Just about everything is good quality in this game but make sure you're computer is loaded or you're going to be playing a slideshow.

It's a lot of fun, but its over-the-top nature makes it something that I wouldn't want to experience over and over again.

With a deep single-player mode, 10 decks to unlock, and new online modes, you'll get plenty of value from this $10 package.

Reality Pump has gone a long way since Two Worlds 1, and they've got a long way to go still. But Two Worlds 2 is a definite step in the right direction.

When all is said and done, Zubo is a nice effort by EA Bright Light to appeal to a younger demographic while still providing an experienced that isn't dumbed-down. This makes it perfect for an aspiring gamer. That being said, the title isn't complex enough to truly appeal to people outside of the intended audience.

From a big picture perspective, Far Cry: New Dawn is fine. It hits a lot of checkboxes that have come to define what Far Cry is and manages to wring some newness and intrigue out of its reused map. While the storytelling is even more unfocused than the previous game (though much less disappointing, due to a noticeable walkback on pretense), new gameplay additions like breezy RPG progression and the Expedition missions make it a fun ride all the way through. Far Cry: New Dawn still has a lot of familiar snags, but the overall experience makes for a solid weekend or two of Hollywood-style gaming.

This is easily one of the stronger Move titles, though that's not saying much with the peripheral's current line-up. As it is, Overkill is a foul, brutal, and loveably twisted game that's surprisingly varied, has a good amount of content, and, most importantly, is fun to play with a friend.

A game that will really appeal to those who love the story and the characters. It stands on it's own as a semi-solid title, but to get the most out of it, you need to really care about the story and it's progression of the series.

It's trial by fire as there is no in-depth tutorial or training mode. Just get in the game and try to stay alive, that's the best advice I can give you.

Although I do like playing Ultra Bust-a-Move on the Xbox, mainly for the larger screen, I have to admit that this DS version is hands-down the best version of this franchise due to the control system and the new swap-a-ball feature. Get this game.

FusionFall is great for fans of the cartoons on Cartoon Network. This is a great way to get in to the mindset of playing an MMO. Having the anime feel and characters that you know and love is an added bonus. It’s not every day that you can play around inside an animated universe.

While it can generally be easy to write off a console RTS, Supreme Commander 2 on the Xbox 360 is a surprisingly great title. The controls work much better than you'd expect, the build mechanics have been simplified to help new players get into it while still maintaining a good amount of depth for more experienced players, it looks good and runs immeasurably better than its predecessor.

The only thing this game doesn't offer is replay value. There is only the single-player mode which a good gamer could complete in a weekend making this an excellent rental choice.

It's a lot of fun, but its over-the-top nature makes it something that I wouldn't want to experience over and over again.

There isn't much to the game's career mode, but this game will certainly be a sure-fire winner at parties.

The controls are responsive and the animation has been smoothed out with motion-captured animations and virtually seamless transitions. The Xbox version is much better looking than the PS2 although there are some traces of slowdown, flicker and online lag.

Ridge Racer hasn't changed much over the last few years, but if you're not looking for the next evolution in racing, its arcade drifting will keep you coming back for more.

And even though it is a welcome addition to the SingStar family, I am very disappointed in the lack of variety in the song selection.

It’s a fun shooter, if all too formulaic.

It's the perfect game to pick up and play here and there and has enough replay value, that you'll want to go back and earn higher rankings to unlock those cool cheats.

Simple and intuitive controls mix perfectly with its appealing and approachable cartoony look to perhaps make We Love Golf the best, non-simulation links experience available on the console.

I suppose the best way to describe Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is as a finishing move of its own. Though, it’d be a Friendship, rather than a Fatality. It’s in many ways a means of NetherRealm showing appreciation for the series’ history. The free additions pay tribute to the past by bringing back old moves in a gorgeous way. The paid elements give two more classic fighters a chance to return, Robocop a chance to dole out justice, and an even better capper to a story that gives returning fighters who showed up as DLC a place in the story. It’s all handled incredibly well and, to be honest, even people who just come back to the game for the massive free update and its balance updates and additions will be more than satisfied.

Just make sure you've got an itchy trigger finger because Crimson Sea 2 will scratch that itch down to the bone and continue to saw right through to the other side.

Almost the perfect party game. Up to eight kids can take part in it. Unfortunately only one at a time can play and that's why I say "almost" perfect.

This is one movie-based game we can whole-heartedly recommend to fans. It’s not quite epic, and it fares on the short side, but shopping elements and unlockables add value to the package. The multiplayer mini-games are less than stellar, but the story-mode level design is sure to welcome you back for repeat visits.

A great game. There are so many elements to this title that will knock your socks off. It is not the true NFL simulator that is Madden, but it is an awesome football game that plays better than the competition in many regards.

While it isn't a next-generation title, the game will provide all the exciting gameplay, depth of strategy, and replay value that gamers expect in today's multiplayer-only titles.

This game is nearly as deep as anything the competition has put out, the gameplay is spot on, and the price is amazing! If online play was included, this would be true must-buy.

A love letter to Contra fans, a distillation of everything they love about the series augmented by some control and visual updates. If you have a history with the franchise, a hankering for explosive 2D action, and a whole lot of patience, it's a great buy for your $15.

SiN Episodes: Emergence is a good looking game. It's got some really nice visuals and a really good sense of depth. The audio is a little sparse but at least we're not forced to sit through boring cutscenes just for the sake of forcing a storyline on us every few minutes.

What it will deliver is a campaign long enough to keep players busy, and more importantly, interested throughout.

FTM is no cakewalk. It's challenging and demented but addictive. For a change of pace this game is exactly the sort of game you can pop in, have fun and laugh at the stupid stunts and storyline.

A fun game that brings back some great memories of 2D fighting and considering that your options are slim to none on 2D fighters, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core may be your best, if not only, pick.

The game isn't particularly long, and the lack of substantial side-missions hurts this game's replay ability overall. Still, the story mode experience is good enough that the time you do spend with Mafia II is well-spent.

The "Denpa" Men 3: The Rise of Digitoll's title couldn't be more accurate. Of the three games available thus far, it is the best and does a wonderful job of encouraging players to keep going further into dungeons and interacting with the virtual world.

Extensive single-player and co-op options as well as a deep online multiplayer experience means there's a lot of bang for the buck. However, the simple third-person shooter gameplay can get repetitive.

Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War is a game that any player at any skill level can get the hang of in a few minutes, but be warned that the last part of each mission is a killer - literally.

The replay value is off the map. There is something so cool about playing characters controlled by living, breathing humans. If you haven't tried a persistent online RPG, you're in for an incredible experience.

A little underwhelming. Although I do enjoy the occasional escape from the daily grind, I have to say such a mellow atmosphere kinda makes me want to hit the off button. Not that I have anything against the zen and peace facilitated by Test Drive Unlimited, but I feel that it's not what racing games should be.

The Maw's a very good game, just don't expect it to rival a title such as Bionic Commando: Rearmed.

There's a lot to do here for a $10 game. You can collect all sixty medallions, complete each Grand Prix on every difficulty level, and battle your friends.

EA Phenomic has successfully pulled off a surprisingly natural convergence of two very different types of gameplay. The combination is wickedly addictive. BattleForge isn't entirely a flawless victory, but it looks good, plays great, and gives card hoarders something new to obsess over.

The PSP version looks and feels like one of the big console versions of past years.

Elebits takes full advantage of the Wii control scheme and runs with it, distancing itself from the collection of rushed ports available at launch. It's not a particularly long game, but it is addictive and fun.

Between the endless WWE Universe mode, the five Road to Wrestlemania stories, and the user-created content, fans won't be able to put this one down for a long time.

River City Ransom Ex is just an all-right game. It offers nothing special to the beat-'em-up genre. Some may even say that the game takes a step or two backward. One of the major complaints I have is that there is no two-player co-op mode.

If you are able to look past this saccharine anime flavor, Aquapazza is certainly a well-balanced and interesting fighting game that has been a staple of Japanese arcades for some time now. It will likely have quite the lifetime in American fighting game communities as well.

If not for the unfortunate frustrating points, which really take you out of the bleak atmosphere, I would say this would set the bar for horror excellence. Unfortunately, these small drawbacks will cause you to frequently put the game down, and that simply doesn’t mesh with a horror tone.

With all the magic and fairy-tale elements involved, I would highly recommend this title for a Halloween night at home. It's not very frightening but it's definitely sinister and kind of creepy.
