  1. A fresh and inspired fighting game.
  2. Battles are fast paced and can get extremely intense; simplistic controls that are easy to learn but tricky to master; Captures the look and feel of Naruto perfectly.

And even if you're bored with beating your friends, there's a vast array of unlockables to collect, which will surely delight your inner obsessive compulsive.

A must for Naruto fans everywhere. Worth checking out if you’re into fighting games as well.
  5. Well well well, a licensed game that's actually worth the plastic it's burned onto. Hell, it's actually a decent fighting game. Shallow, perhaps, but still a great party game and solid enough that you want to explore the different modes.
  6. Although, Naruto has a lot of unnecessary elements, it still is one of the most enjoyable fighting games I have played in a long time.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja is a very amusing game - the only problem is that the amusement doesn't last for a very long time at all.

Okay, this game is not made for every fighting game fan (if you dislike 2d fighters, or super smash brothers type gameplay). Naruto is, Okay, this game is not made for every fighting game fan (if you dislike 2d fighters, or super smash brothers type gameplay). Naruto is, however, the best anime licensed game I have ever played (and I have played many, many licensed games being a dbz fan). Surprisingly, there is a good amount of depth in this game if you TAKE the TIME to learn the counter system and when to use the assorted combos. If you are not a fighting game fan, let this stay on the shelf. If, however, you do enjoy a good fighter, or happen to be a Naruto fan, at least rent this game. Expand

You can breezeNaruto: Ultimate Ninja is a 2D fighting game that can get tense at times but mostly repetitive. The story is quite cool. You can breeze through it in 2 hours if your pretty good at the game. The versus mode is great util you burned out all of the enjoyment from the game. So all that is left is the "extras mode which is where you view collectibles. Overall, a unique experiment for a 2D Naruto game with only a reasonable amount of content you can achieve within a weekend. Expand

Not worth buying or even renting; play it at Wal-mart or stop by a friend's house to get a taste of it. Fun for about 10, maybe 20 Not worth buying or even renting; play it at Wal-mart or stop by a friend's house to get a taste of it. Fun for about 10, maybe 20 minutes. A complete mash fest that lacks any worthwhile single player mode. Combos are minimal and each character has only one special, which gets boring to watch after the second time. It fails as a single-player and two-player fighting game. Look elsewhere if you expect to be entertained longer then the duration of a Naruto episode, and don't lie to yourself and others by saying the game is anything more than a "pathetic" video game.
