    I am a huge Naruto fan, and a huge fan of fighting games, but this didn't hold my attention, the crappy story mode, the limited amount of characters, and boring versus and mission modes, hold this game back from being fun.

    Not worth buying or even renting; play it at Wal-mart or stop by a friend's house to get a taste of it. Fun for about 10, maybe 20 minutes. A complete mash fest that lacks any worthwhile single player mode. Combos are minimal and each character has only one special, which gets boring to watch after the second time. It fails as a single-player and two-player fighting game. Look Not worth buying or even renting; play it at Wal-mart or stop by a friend's house to get a taste of it. Fun for about 10, maybe 20 minutes. A complete mash fest that lacks any worthwhile single player mode. Look elsewhere if you expect to be entertained longer then the duration of a Naruto episode, and don't lie to yourself and others by saying the game is anything more than a "pathetic" video game.… Expand

    The basic truth is that this game was released in 2003 in Japan under the title "Narutimate Hero", and is greatly overshadowed by the two sequels that haven't made their way through translation, Narutimate Hero 2 and 3. If you're a fan on the translated and dubbed anime, then this game will keep with the story you've seen, and won't reveal the future.
