  1. FusionFall is great for fans of the cartoons on Cartoon Network. This is a great way to get in to the mindset of playing an MMO. Having the anime feel and characters that you know and love is an added bonus. It’s not every day that you can play around inside an animated universe.

Though the tastes of pre-teen boys are as fickle online as on the air, "FusionFall" is sure to grab its target aud's attention and, if it's well supported and marketed, could even turn into a solid business of its own.
  3. Fusionfall is an ambitious idea that may not have hit all the marks, but this is a solid first effort in an untapped market - a children's MMORPG.

If you compare Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall to top tier MMOs like World of Warcraft or Warhammer Online you'll set yourself up for disappointment. Rather, developer Grigon Entertainment has developed a really accessible, easy, and streamlined experience for the young ones.

I did have a grand time while playing this game and it was totally awesome being able to travel through the cartoon universe. I think it's still pretty cool you could any combo of guns, swords, etc. that had different types uses (elementally). All in all, I think FusionFall is an awesome MMO, just a few more ups and it will be beyond a 10. Expand

I actually think this is pretty fun. It's WoW lite, done right!

It is a third-person shooter mmo with just about every cartoon network character making a cameo. In game, you have these helpers that have special abilities called nanos. They are a clever way to put cartoonnetwork characters in the game. It also brings in a little bit of something collectable, like pokemon. the game play is good, but i guess a little repetitive. it also has some annoying lag, but it's acceptable. There are lots of cool weapons and lots of them are based of character's weapons in cartoonnetwork shows. The graphics are good, especially for a browser game. Did i mention this games accessibility? It's a free download on cartoonnetwork.com, so what's stopping you? go out and get it! Expand

To get some stuff out of the way, I love the environment and the characters and especially the music. If you are a cartoon network fan, loveTo get some stuff out of the way, I love the environment and the characters and especially the music. If you are a cartoon network fan, love janky old MMOs, or played it years ago, you might just have a good time with this game, for some time. These endearing aspects might keep you in the game longer.

With all that said, this is probably not a good game, by definition, the gameplay is a third person shooter, and you either fight one monster or a group of three, then run across the map and hope not to be cheesed by monsters on the way.

There is a moderate amount of depth with the weapons and abilities (nanos) you can use, so there is some thought that needs to be done for your build once in a while. Some missions might need you equipping stealth nanos so you can quickly run past everything and reach an objective, others will need plenty of healing and stuns for wiping out monsters effectively. Lastly, some nanos give you more XP while active, which means to maximize your XP you will need to equip them before you end missions to get the most out of it.

Most decision making opportunities are rare, and are locked behind unlocking new nanos everytime you level up. The problem is, there are plenty of nanos with duplicate abilities, and some with very bad abilities. Sometimes you'll need to level up 3 or 4 more times before you get a new nano that actually gives you more decisions to make.

The further you get into the game, the longer it takes to level up, and during final segments of the game you will spend a lot of time traveling back and forth, and the envoirnments that were once grand get turned into huge empty boxes with tons of travel in between objectives

While it's interesting to play a game in which you receive missions from cartoon characters you could only see on TV before, underneath While it's interesting to play a game in which you receive missions from cartoon characters you could only see on TV before, underneath the fun cameos is a mediocre grindfest which won't be able to entertain you for too long - especially considering that the game can barely be classified an MMO as it is. It's more like a glorified chatroom with some cartoons, laser guns, and tons of "Kill X number of Y" missions thrown in. It should be mentioned, however, how accessible the game is. It's browser-based (even though it looks quite decent) and it's very easy to just pick up and play, with its streamlined controls and simple mechanics. All in all, give it a try, but don't expect any revolutionary ideas or great innovations. Expand

Just. Plain. Awesome. Better than Hl2 and Crysis put together, simply a master piece. Wait, wrong game.
