Disastrous scoring system encourages some players to cooperate with the killer instead of running from him and reduces promising gameplay to nonsense (e.g. when the killer picks you up, throws you into a trap, resets it, picks you up, throws you into a trap, resets it, picks you up, throws you into a trap, resets it, picks you up...). Yet another proof that some games should just be left alone, because they don’t necessarily have much to offer a couple of years later. [09/2016, p.57]

The Solus Project finds the right balance between adventuring and survival and sometimes is a real joy to look at, but tends to remind you too often that it is just a game. [09/2016, p.56]

Randomized missions are a welcome addition, but their appeal doesn’t last long, because after a couple of hours you recognize all the elements of the procedurally-generated underground environments and start missing Manhattan. [09/2016, p.54]

Umbrella Corps’ metascore suggests that it’s one of the worst games of this generation, but if you look past its low budget and bugs, you’ll see a fresh, unconventional shooter brimming with brilliant small innovations. [09/2016, p.52]

The only thing that stopped me from rating OTC higher is the lackluster, restricted and discouraging campaign. For short sessions it’s a perfect game though. [09/2016, p.50]

I have already tasted Inside six years ago while I was playing Playdead’s previous game – Limbo. It doesn’t taste as good for the second time, even despite a more appealing peel. [09/2016, p.48]

It’s an likable little thing, but I see no point in playing it on PC. Crush Your Enemies was obviously designed for mobile gaming and its short skirmishes work better on the go. [09/2016, p.45]

I expected a Hearthstone clone, but Chronicle is closer to a board game. It's interesting, fresh mechanics need some tweaking though, because now the game is both a bit too random and a bit too predictable. [08/2016, p.73]

For me Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture was a beautiful, almost mystical experience thanks to its atmosphere and one of the best soundtracks in gaming history. It’s a shame that on PC framerate tends to drop below acceptable levels, I was annoyed by some bugs and the ending failed to properly wrap up the story. [08/2016, p.72]
