More of an artistic experiment than a real game. Its visuals are beautiful and it offers various gameplay mechanics but none of them is particularly engaging. [CD-Action 13/2012, p.67]- CD-Action

Bugsnax are delicious, but you have to be very creative to find a way to catch them all. The hunt itself is engaging and accompanied by quite an interesting story. However, some of the objectives are not clear enough, and while the adventure is full of funny events, it becomes boring after a while. [01/2021, p.54]- CD-Action

A great game from a genre that we see so rarely on PC. It’s not too demanding, but it’s pure joy to play, as it’s charming, cheerful, full of stuff to gather and uncover and does a lot to keep you engaged all the time. Not all levels were designed to the same high standard, but even in its weaker moments A Hat in Time is still good. At its best it really shines. [13/2017, p.60]- CD-Action

A surprisingly solid tactical game with interesting characters and well-written (even if sometimes too long) dialogues. [06/2016, p.64]- CD-Action

On the one hand, Assassin's Creed Shadows is more of the same, but on the other hand, it is a new start for the series thanks to two very different playable characters. At its core, the game is a lot of fun, somewhat spoiled by the bland open world and dull missions.- CD-Action

There’s around 8 hours of great story here. Unfortunately it was bloated into 20 hours of ordeal. [07/2014, p.69]- CD-Action

An interactive story enriched with puzzle elements or an arcade/puzzle game with an exceptionally mature and expanded plot – depends on how you look at Catherine. Either way it's both frustrating and fascinating. [April 2012, p.80]- CD-Action

House Flipper 2 is a very good sequel that fixes most of its predecessor’s flaws by offering more elaborate gameplay, an excellent sandbox mode, and better graphics. I’d be completely over the moon if it weren’t for some technical issues, annoying new painting mechanics, and the fact that assembly was relegated to a separate minigame.- CD-Action

Dying Light: The Beast is a successful return to the roots of the series, although it is occasionally noticeable that it is indeed an expansion pack transformed into a full-fledged game.- CD-Action

Sometimes it was hard for me to shake the feeling that I'm playing a new rendition of the Destruction Derby series. Driving experience is good, but most of the story missions are boring and require you to crash into other cars after using the Shift feature to 'possess' some unfortunate random driver. Additional challenges that the city offers (e.g. races) also quickly become tiring. Music is good though and multiplayer is well designed. [Sept 2011, p.62]- CD-Action

If you enjoyed BPM: Bullets Per Minute, you must know that Metal: Hellsinger is better in every aspect. It’s stellar soundtrack alone is worth checking out, but it’s not the game’s only advantage, because it’s also got great pace, well-designed mechanics and hellishly satisfying gunplay. But why is the campaign so short?!- CD-Action

Sackboy is not groundbreaking in any way, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s a wonderful platformer that looks great, sounds excellent, and offers superb co-op. It is pure, varied fun and deserves much more recognition than it received overshadowed by Spider-Man: Miles Morales and some other big releases. [01/2021, p.38]- CD-Action

Bethesda Pinball is a great package as three tables are completely different from each other in terms of atmosphere, gameplay design and appearance. The important part is that they don’t just capitalize on sentiment but are great on their own merits. [02/2017, p.40]- CD-Action

A very decent debut game. The developers tackled same serious topics (interpersonal relations, modern technology’s place in human life) and got away with it, even though the story feels rushed due to the fact that the game takes ca. 3 hours. [02/2018, p.53]- CD-Action

By finding extraordinary in completely ordinary situations (there are no supernatural elements in The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, and there are actually no real adventures either) Dontnod reminded me why I fell in love with the studio. [09/2018, p.54]- CD-Action

Seemingly, it’s more of what we’ve already seen from Supermassive Games: a group of characters, a branching storyline, numerous QTE’s and tons of important decisions to make. However, the devil’s in the details – very interesting narrative style, the pace of the game and it’s surprising story make The Quarry Supermassive’s greatest achievement to date.- CD-Action

Almost perfect gameplay makes PES 2019 the best football simulation ever, but due to stagnation in terms of available modes and the usual scarcity of licences it’s “merely” a good game. [11/2018, p.82]- CD-Action

It took The Division a lot of time to reach our computers and consoles, but it was worth waiting for. We have already spent about 200 hours with it collectively and we’re not planning on abandoning it, because it is, simply put, outstanding and shows amazing potential for the future. UNS4 will delight the fans of the series (i.e. with tons of playable characters that come with unique techniques) and leave everyone else wandering what the hell is going on. However everyone will admit that the scope of some fights is astonishing. [04/2016, p.51]- CD-Action

Just like Sniper Elite 4 before it, the latest addition to the series takes the crown of the best game for those who prefer to employ stealth and kill from a distance rather than engage in direct firefights. Its X-Ray kill cam is still loads of fun while impressively large, detailed maps offer lots of freedom and many additional challenges, so it’s a shame that uninteresting story, poor AI and flawed physics hold it back.- CD-Action

The game looks great and the combat system is fantastic but the urge to 'improve on FF XIII' resulted in a step backwards for the franchise. The distinctive feel of the previous game is gone. [March 2012, p.66]- CD-Action

I did not find The Last Wind Monk as thrilling as the first Inner World, because the effect of novelty has faded, but I still feel the need to recommend it to point’n’click lovers, especially those who enjoyed the original game. [13/2017, p.59]- CD-Action
