A roguelike with a strong emphasis on the story. The gameplay turned out to be rather shallow, but the gravity of the subject that the game tackles (depression) makes up for that. For a roguelike, Dreamscaper is quite easy, so its message has a chance to reach a broader audience. [11/2021, p.61]- CD-Action

The gameplay is simple and brilliant but the game itself shines as it should only in multiplayer. [10/2017, p.68]- CD-Action

A beautiful but merely competent beat ‘em up, which becomes repetitive after around five hours played with the first character. [07/2018, p.76]- CD-Action

Its weaknesses – generic world, bland story and lack of innovation – are easily forgiven because the game is very well put together and extremely addictive. On every step it gave me a reason to spend 'just 15 more minutes' with it. I really couldn't wait to play it again at home. [March 2012, p.44]- CD-Action

Do stealth games have to be so slow? Stealth Bastard Deluxe has an answer – no, they don’t! Well, you can argue whether it’s a real stealth game or rather a platformer but the important part is that it’s very addictive and well-balanced. [CD-Action 02/2013, p.49]- CD-Action

The game might disappoint the veterans of the genre but it also makes an interesting introduction to it – and the flawless pixel art is definitely one of its strongest selling points. [13/2019, p.89]- CD-Action

The level design changes between exceptional and mediocre which is rather disappointing for a 6-hour long game. It was a pleasant experience overall but its potential dwindles before it has a chance to make a proper impact. [01/2020, p.79]- CD-Action

What a wonderful surprise at the end of the year! Blacktail, a real gem dipped in Slavic folklore, delighted me with its distinct atmosphere, engaging narrative, sense of humor, and excellent music. What did not impress me, was the combat, but as a whole the game is a fantastic experience.- CD-Action

Is it iconoclastic and anti-Christian? Yes. Humanistic and empathetic? You bet! Indika is not afraid of condemnation, and its developers speak their minds openly and consistently, though sometimes rather bluntly. And the fact that they draw inspiration from Bulgakov, Tarkovsky, but also Spyro the dragon? Well, such are the charms of this religiously engaged metagame.- CD-Action

Eight years after the original this sexy horror didn’t even get one wrinkle! It’s worth to give it another chance even if you’ve scored with Atlus’ work before. [03/2019, p.79]- CD-Action

There was nothing in the way of Age of Wonders III maintaining the quality level of its predecessors. But that did not happen and instead of another solid title we got a game that will make every armchair strategist cry... tears of joy. [05/2014, p.52]- CD-Action

Loads of great new furniture (including modular sofas) and a new career (that you can combine with a different full-time job) make this expansion a dream come true for anyone who’s into interior design. This time EA and Maxis gave it 200% and there’s literally nothing I dislike about Dream Home Decorator. [08/2021, p.61]- CD-Action

It definitely isn’t one of those games you talk about years after its release, but it showcases PS4’s capabilities well and in contrast to Killzone: Shadow Fall also does something else – guarantees fun from the beginning till the end. [CD-Action 05/2014, p.58]- CD-Action

Candle’s got a lot going for it – beautiful visuals, varied puzzles and a decent level of difficulty. On the other hand controls can be annoying and distinct artistic style resembling living paintings sometimes makes it hard to distinguish elements on screen. [01/2017, p.61]- CD-Action

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is an action RPG with a beautifully designed, dynamic combat, set in a world full of flying islands and zeppelins. Its story might not be stellar, but brilliant boss battles and interesting level design completely make up for it.- CD-Action

Lies of P is a solid, well-thought-out game that – apart from some minor touches of originality – sticks closely to the formula developed by FromSoftware. Although every aspect of this Soulslike could be better, I believe fans of the genre will have a lot of fun playing it (if you can call dying 30 times in a row a lot of fun, that is).- CD-Action

The best, the most interesting and the most elaborate entry to the series. Engine's limitations are more visible than ever before but it doesn't change the fact that Traveller's Tales once again managed to deliver an enjoyable game chock-full of content. [CD-Action 1/2013, p.44]- CD-Action

My infatuation with the game didn’t fade after tens of finished levels. And even if it’s safe to say that it looks like Poly Bridge’s winter DLC, the developers introduced so many innovations to the genre that every bridge builder fan will surely love splattering the innocent skiers blood on the snow.
