Be it the basic, largely pointless Story Mode or the by the numbers Multiplayer Mode, Battle of the Bands never ceases to feel like a missed opportunity and a huge disappointment.- AceGamez

The level design never really interests either; this is perhaps one of the most linear games I've ever played.- AceGamez

It's not even the best Pac-Man clone but it is a well put together title that does offer some measure of amusement.- AceGamez

This is a rehash of every good idea ever done in FPS but done little better than average.- AceGamez

Boing! Docomodake DS is the developer's attempt at emulating the gameplay of LocoRoco on the DS but it fails in the most crucial areas - level design, length and aesthetics - all of which LocoRoco excelled at.- AceGamez

Unless you're a huge Fantastic Four nut I would recommend you play a different beat 'em up game, as this one is feels absolutely ancient and offers nothing new that we haven't seen before and many things we shouldn't see anymore.- AceGamez

- Critic Score
The character system seems deep and appealing, but is really fairly limited and what is there is undermined by the lack of true freedom in the game. Combat is a dreadfully boring experience that takes place in real-time in an ill-realized 'ring of death'. As for the rest of the game, the less said the better.- AceGamez

But kids used to load times for the GBA or DS will quickly become frustrated with the constant loading in this game, as I discovered with my 8 and 9 year old sons.- AceGamez

Lots of people will buy this because it is the Family Guy game. Lots of people will be disappointed. Some won't be, but these are the people who bought the Knight Rider game and then went out and bought the sequel. Don't be one of those people.- AceGamez

I can't see many people playing this again after the initial play-through either, unless they really enjoy getting every last piece of clothing and food.- AceGamez

Fairytale Fights isn't a terrible game, it's just a repetitious one made all the more maddening thanks to huge list of missed opportunities.- AceGamez

While this party pack might only have 40 items, many of which you can download, at the end of the day, when all your Sims are together surrounded by Christmassy deco - well, that's all that matters. Merry Christmas everybody!- AceGamez

For the budget price, Blowout isn't a bad game, as it follows the rules of its genre very closely and, while offering little in the way of innovation, does at least feel like someone cared when they made it.- AceGamez

The only thing keeping Naruto: Path of the Ninja from being completely forgettable - the developers have done a very good job of infusing the spirit of the anime series into every aspect of the game.- AceGamez

Shining Soul II suffers from a very flawed combat system, leaving it open to RPG veterans only.- AceGamez

On the one hand it's an enjoyable enough low rent action arcade game that looks great, and on the other its reliance on old and outdated ideas often remind you what you don't miss about the games of eras past.- AceGamez

For the casual gamer this is a mess with very few redeemable features beyond a few fantastic stories - throw in poor graphics, weak voice work and a longevity that will barely cover a weekend and you're left with a title that could have been so much better.- AceGamez

Seasoned gamers will find very little of interest here, regardless of how massive a Harry Potter fan you are (personally I love the books and the films).- AceGamez

It could have been much better if there was more freedom to the art of cooking, a more challenging single player structure and - most importantly - responsive and involving controls that actually give you the feeling of slicing, dicing, mincing and everything else.- AceGamez

At first its kookiness will have you and any onlookers cracking up, as you watch the King prowl around and do his little dances, but after only ten minutes of play you'll have seen everything the game has to offer, and from then on playing the rest of the way feels more like a chore than anything else - Sneak King is a one-trick pony and its one trick gets old far too soon.- AceGamez

Possesses the bare minimum requirements of everything a modern racer should have and unfortunately nothing more.- AceGamez

Ghost Rider is easy enough to pick up and it's reasonably enjoyable, but there's very little here to challenge the serious gamer and you'll find yourself completing it incredibly quickly.- AceGamez

Certain later levels are enjoyable, as is the final boss fight. Diehard fans of the platforming genre will undoubtedly enjoy Brave more than the rest of us, but even for them, a shoddy camera and frustratingly designed levels near the end will put a damper on the overall experience.- AceGamez

Despite its good points, Tron 2.0 Killer App is effectively an incohesive mix of strong mini-games, held together by some suspect isometric combat platform levels.- AceGamez

An unusual idea and one with great potential, but unfortunately the dull setting and plodding pace of the game bog it down.- AceGamez

If you take out storytelling and character building, then add in mediocre gameplay, what do you have? A pretty action title that stumbles far more than it struts.- AceGamez

Mr Mirra may have been around for a long time, but it seems that it is possible for an old rider to need to learn some new tricks, because a lack of originality and options, as well as some below par design, overshadow the better qualities of Dave Mirra BMX Challenge.- AceGamez

Unless you love poorly done, "edgy" scenes of death, or you really, really like shooting things, The Punisher is a let down in almost every aspect and is easily buried by the quality of similar titles like "Red Dead Revolver."- AceGamez

For all but Monopoly, the translation to digital has been handled very well, and the speed and simplicity of play allows for pretty good replay value.- AceGamez

As just a basic shooter it isn't actually too bad; but with some incredibly short and easy levels, the game can be completed in a couple of days and you will probably have little desire to play through it again.- AceGamez

The frustrating and sluggish gameplay is only marred further by some completely uninspiring visuals.- AceGamez

Whilst this is definitely a fun game, it is certainly not justified if you own the original. This is simply a very cheap trick by the developers to get twice the cash for what is essentially one purchase.- AceGamez

I suppose that kids might have some fun playing this with a mate for a short burst, and the real die-hard fans of the series might enjoy yet more of the same, but really there are far too many awesome games available on 360 at the moment to ever justify wasting your money on this.- AceGamez

Damnation is an unfinished game, a concept with good ideas and a real sense of scale but terrible implementation in almost every way.- AceGamez

My biggest disappointment with SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab is that by trying too hard to be trendy and make full use of the DS hardware the developers have turned a fun if unremarkable game into one that is annoyingly sub-par.- AceGamez
-
- Critic Score
It's a decent game that's poorly implemented in places and unfortunately suffers from the condition that nearly all movie-based games suffer from. The symptoms usually consist of average graphics (unless you own a previous-gen console), no new storyline (everything's from the film) and an awkward camera control system (because the game's been rushed to be released at the same time as the movie). It is due to these shortcomings that I'd say it's better to leave this game Far Far Away!- AceGamez

Sure, there's oodles of feudal female flesh on display and a competent command system, but too many areas of the game fall flat on their face for it to be anything other than a tragic waste of time.- AceGamez

Despite Dance Factory's innovative concept, Codies' flawed execution and iffy beat recognition make this somewhat of a missed opportunity to knock Konami's "Dancing Stage" from the top spot.- AceGamez
-

In some places it hits the spot, with its superb fighting system and its clever idea of being able to travel to random worlds. However, the clever idea soon turns into a 'miss' when you find out that all the random worlds look the same!- AceGamez

Whilst I normally enjoy choosing between a stealthy or combat-based approach like in the Hitman games, the idea of being able to very easily kill everyone in the level or just avoid anything entirely still seems odd to me.- AceGamez

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End wasn't the most exciting movie. It was good, but it did have parts where I wished it would move on quicker. The At World's End game had me feeling the same way. There are action-packed parts, but other parts are pretty boring.- AceGamez
-
- Critic Score
Maybe it's because I just don't like the main character, maybe it's because the story is dafter than my opening paragraph, maybe it's because it's a third rate GTA wannabe. In any case, this one should be avoided unless you really liked the first one, although this is actually a step back from the original.- AceGamez
-
- Critic Score
It's not something you play, it's more something you journey through. There's nothing here that'll keep the mainstream masses entertained; this is one of those game for those who like adventures to progress without the troublesome orcs and goblins to kill or the daunting levelling up of statistics.- AceGamez

It's not so much art design and premise that ultimately brings Murder in the Abbey down; the gaffe rests on the gameplay.- AceGamez

The co-op mode is a welcome addition, even if it isn't online enabled (and only supports two players), but you'd be much better off playing "X-Men Legends" co-op mode than this one.- AceGamez

If you like your gameplay simple and don't spend hours playing games then you'll probably enjoy Sonic and the Black Knight, which is pitched at the more casual gamer.- AceGamez

The one thing FSR does the best is prove once and for all that the budget car racer is the most pointless genre ever to be created, and the sooner developers realise this, the better it will be for all of us.- AceGamez

Elite Forces: Unit 77 has a fun story and features some great map design, but it's dragged right down by the fiddly controls; if a smoother system was in place then it would have been a much more eventful and enjoyable game.- AceGamez

While it's not the worst game every made, it's certainly not going to win any awards, and there are plenty of other puzzle titles on the DS that do what 7 Wonders II does only better.- AceGamez

Surely not pushing the Xbox anywhere near to its limits and it fails to capture the essence of WWE, feeling outdated and sluggish to play. Best avoid this one until a real next-gen wrestler comes along.- AceGamez

With every clichéd platforming scenario and convention ever devised locked down and ready to boot, Garfield and his Nine Lives is both formulaic and as essential a purchase as a chocolate teapot. Quite simply, it's 'paw'.- AceGamez

Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi fans in the five to ten year age range will probably love this game because it isn't very difficult, it's based on well-known cartoon characters and there are a few mini-games and incentives that will keep them entertained.- AceGamez

Ford Street Racing is a budget game with some high production values, like a reasonable reproduction of LA, some neat ideas in the Team Racing mode, a good range of handling types and convincing AI drivers. The problem is, it's limited and boring.- AceGamez

The story, characters and control system are all lacklustre, and even the sniper mode that regularly pops up for you to save a hostage from the grips of a terrorist is badly designed, as the times are too quick to clear the area and you end up with innocent blood on your hands.- AceGamez

What I cannot forgive is that the combat is horribly balanced - it is the worst of both worlds, a game that demands overwhelming levels amounts of micromanagement yet provides entirely too few tools and opportunities to make it happen.- AceGamez

For a brief play it serves a purpose well enough, but if you really want to get the most out of this exciting period of ancient combat then you'll want to wait until something more inspired comes along, because Ancient Wars is just a bit too spartan to give you the experience that you are hoping for.- AceGamez

The main problem with Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure is that it doesn't add anything new to a well-worn genre. If anything, it takes a smattering of ideas from other RPGs and tones them down quite a bit.- AceGamez
