Easily the best Spider-Man film ever made so far. No Way Home is a near perfect culmination of the three generations of spider man and even takes inspiration from the PS4 game at moments , this movie exceeds all expectations with itsEasily the best Spider-Man film ever made so far. No Way Home is a near perfect culmination of the three generations of spider man and even takes inspiration from the PS4 game at moments , this movie exceeds all expectations with its emotional range and action sequences and gives new meaning to this Spider-Man trilogy and gives Holland the true mantel of Spider-Man. The villains were executed brilliantly by Jon Wats in particular Green Goblin who is made into an even more menacing character than his original in 2002, Willem Dafoe portrays this character incredibly and you can’t find much of a fault with the performance at all. Electro and Doc Ock are also two other great performances in this film and finally saw Electro’s character put to good use unlike in TASM2, the use of CGI on Sandman and the Lizard using clips from the previous films was a clever idea executed brilliantly as well. Nothing but good reviews have come from this movie and rightly so, it combines one of the weaker stories from the comics and makes it into a gem of a movie which can easily make it one of the best MCU movies to date. The story finally completes the origin of the MCU Spider-Man from an eager kid dreaming of becoming an avenger to becoming a man who has to deal with the consequences of his actions who has to pay the price for the greater good and sets up the perfect story for the upcoming trilogy. 9.5/10.… Expand

“Marvels still got it folks”, I guess that statement all on its own sums up the review for Spider-Man : No Way Home. In this post End Game era we have to admit we were all wondering how can marvel top that phenomenal movie now that most of“Marvels still got it folks”, I guess that statement all on its own sums up the review for Spider-Man : No Way Home. In this post End Game era we have to admit we were all wondering how can marvel top that phenomenal movie now that most of the original cast have parted ways from the Studio, although we did see glimmers of hope here and there with Marvels entry into the OTT space and it’s new initiatives such as Shang Chi and Eternals, I still felt that there was something lacking with the new direction and not sure if they could achieve that same magic again.
But boy did marvel prove not just me but all the doubters wrong with this Spider-Man movie, not giving away any spoilers but this feels like a true Spider-Man flick after a long time. We see Peter reeling with the after effects of what happened in Far from home which not only affects him this time but the people closest to him. It was nice to see everyone in the movie more involved in the story than before , MJ, Ned, Happy, Aunt May, etc are no longer side characters with fleeting impacts, they have a purpose in this movie and that’s to help Peter make the right choice and not the best choice for him.
Benedict Cumberbatch is back as the mystical Doctor Strange but not like how hardcore Sherlock fans would have wanted , he actually takes a break from most of the sequences but makes his presence feel desirable and not overbearing.
Classic villains like Doc Oc , Green Goblin, Electro, Lizard, Sandman play their roles exceptionally well. They don’t drag the story too far to make it tiresome nor does their presence feel diminished, Jon watts actually did quite well in bringing a Russo Brothers like experience. Oh and I know that YouTube is totally flooded with leaks and you guys would already know the big twist that marvel wanted to drop on us but in the interest of preserving the essence of the movie am not gonna spoil it for you folks u better watch it in the theatres and enjoy it while you can.… Expand

I cannot express how much I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was a cinematic masterpiece that gave so much nostalgia. One of the most brain-dead movies I've ever had to sit through.

The tone of the movie swings wildly between silly and not-taking-itself-too-seriously in some scenes, and then trying to hit hard with emotional drama that it makes absolutelyOne of the most brain-dead movies I've ever had to sit through.

The tone of the movie swings wildly between silly and not-taking-itself-too-seriously in some scenes, and then trying to hit hard with emotional drama that it makes absolutely no meaningful build up to in other scenes. As a result, the silly scenes feel awkward, and the drama heavy scenes fall completely flat. The entire plot is pulled along by a string of increasingly convoluted deus ex machinas, all under the pseudo-scientific guises of "string theory", "the multiverse", "magic", and "making/repairing something powerful in the lab". The sheer number of these absurd devices makes the entire plot and all of the character motivations mostly incomprehensible by the halfway point.

By the end of the movie I was left feeling like Spider-Man was an annoying, egocentric, and self-righteous little jerk, and that I really didn't care at all about any of the other characters. The movie boils down to a 2-hour-long slog of flimsy fan service and nostalgia baiting for the Spider-Man franchise. But hey, it's a perfectly valid, focus-group-tested recipe for butts in seats that all but guarantees a profit.… Expand

Although the beginning could've been handled better, seeing iconic characters come back after so long, some even almost from 2 decades ago like Doc Ock and Green Goblin was just too incredible, to where I could ignore any mediocre reason for it all happening. (That wasn't a spoiler as they were in the trailers) Plus, it makes sense for someone young like peter and someone overconfident like strange to have that outcome. I highly recommend rewatching all the spiderman movies old and new just to get a refresher as events from those two movies are mentioned throughout. Probably one of the most awesome cinema experiences since Avengers: Endgame. Don't Pirate or stream this one, this is one you won't regret paying to go see on the big screen.… Expand

This movie was a celebration of all that is Spider-Man. I never really cared for Tom's version of Spider-Man until the end of this movie. No Way Home made me realise that this was his origin story and that due to the many criticisms his version had, this is a reboot. This can not be avoided. But the worst kept secret in the world was that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would be coming back and donning their red and blue spandex. Being a child born in 2001 I was brought up on nothing but Spider-Man, he was everywhere. Every moment in my life has a Spider-Man movie to go with it. Watching this movie I cried, multiple times. Seeing Dafoe back as the terrifying goblin made me tear up, hearing Alfred's classic Ock voice as he fought Peter on the bridge was as if I was back in 2004. The moment I fell in love with this movie was seeing the three of them putting their masks on and running off the scaffolding, hearing each of their unique yet simple screams of celebration as they swing together made me breakdown, I turned to my girlfriend, absolutely crying my heart out saying that this is the greatest movie I have ever seen. Nostalgia is such a **** However, let's take those rose-tinted glasses off for a moment and look at this as if it was its own stand-alone movie. This wouldn't work, 20 years worth of film history all in one movie would never hit the same as someone who has been watching these movies since iron man or later. I am glad that I and many other people spent the time to dedicate moments of our lives to this lifestyle of comics and pop culture.… Expand

It has all the epic and heartwarming moments that Spiderman fans have wanted since Sam Raimi's original trilogy. The movie has enough soul in it to make you cry, laugh, smile, gasp and make your jaw drop. The movie has enough soul in it to make you cry, laugh, smile, gasp and make your jaw drop. However once you put more thought into the film it becomes evident this movie is a narrative mess. There is evident plot holes and some characters are a real miss like Sandman and The Lizard to the point you question why they're involved with this movie in the first place having little to no substance. Where this movie really finds its success though is in how it portrays emotions in characters and their character development. Tom Holland's Spiderman finally gained the substance that was missing from his character since his appearance in the MCU. However it's hard to not feel it was 2 movies too late. In conclusion this movie is an epic adventure that makes Spiderman, well Spiderman. It has memorable moments but as a whole is dragged down by what feels like a rushed story with many plot holes and characters more forgettable than a Men In Black Neuralyzer.… Expand
