    After spending a few days with the beta and playing a day early using the New Zealand trick.... the game seems very very basic. After completing the first few dozen missions for a faction which are identical to each other. Most of which take place on the same island or islands you keep returning too with no enemy variations and about 95% of your time will be travel time. It would probably improve with friends but you definitely shouldn't go into this by yourself. *wanted to add my thoughts on the progression which looks to be entirely cosmetic based... which would be nice but the game turned into just doing a bunch of boring repeatable fetch quests for hours to paint your weapon blue or put on a coat.

    Played it a lot more. After a lot of updates. It's still meh mostly a colossal waste of time. Sometimes it can be fun with a good event and a good pvp battle. But most of the time people just want to waste your time. Should still avoid unless your preferred play-style is to get with a group of friends and try to mess up other peoples days.     This game have a lot of great ideas but some of them are just not well executed, enemy variety is almost nonexistent and the combat system on foot is too simple to keep you interested.

    Mission variety is so limited, you have just 3 types of activities and sadly they end up being so repetitive that you'll feel that you are doing the same over and over again.     There are not a lot of things to do here, the sea is almost dead (besides the kraken, that by the way is hugely dissapointing) you can see a shark or a damaged ship to explore but nothing else.

    Islands are so small, empty and repetitive that you can't find almost nothing that really inspires you to explore the world.

    Progression system is just nonexistent, your rewars for exploring and progressin in the 3 factions is just money to buy clothes and ship pieces that doesnn't even add any gameplay feature to the game ¡everything is just visual stuff!

    This is just a shallow game, and it's a shame because the idea is so atractive, but it feels that Rare was just scratching the surface of what the game could have been    … Expand

    No começo não dava na peço jogo e recebi muito mais do que esperava. eu bem viciado nele, mas ainda tenho a sensação que falta algo. É como se fosse uma beta turbinada ainda. A quantidade de bugs também está atrapalhando a jogatina. O que é estranho depois de tantos betas, testes e alfas.     After the latest update iv really got back into this game and there is a ton to do. Not an easy game to play alone. Would be awesome if they introduced a 1 player lobby so you can't come up against a team of 3 or 4.

Now there are two separate routes that Rare can follow,

    · or Rare works upon it's magnificent base and introduces the content to make it a great proposal;

    · or Rare decides that this is the final product and they let them as it is.

    In this state it is like a beautiful crystal bottle with just poor and cheap wine in the inside. Wanting to be optimistic, it's much easier to add content than to work across all the core of the game. Let's hope for the best, that as it is we have nothing special here.    … Expand

    You can still feel the Rare charm in this title, and its clear quite a lot of work and passion went into this. And the game is indeed fun to play, if you have reliable players with you. But, its arguably one of their weaker titles.

    O jogo tinha (tem) tudo para se sobressair aos demais jogos, mas a MS confiou demais em lançar o jogo para depois adicionar coisas mais diversificadas para se fazer. Faltou capricho. Já vi várias ideias de players de coisas que poderiam ter sido adicionadas, coisas que realmente desse um sentimento progresso no    Acredito que o jogo está no beta ainda. Пиратской романтикой, как того и добивались разработчики, пропитан каждый пиксель, а звуки насвистывающей шарманки, да треск гармошки прямо-таки заставляют кричать "Аррррррррррррррр" и рьяно прыгать в омут с акулами к очередному кладу или дубасить по черепушке, оживающих на островах мертвецов. Это костяк продукта, но если на релизе дело ограничится только им, а лор и нарратив не будут раскрыты, то быть этой "форме воды" на дне ММОокеана!    … Expand

    Beauty isn't everything. Biggest weak point is the community and the PVP griefing mentality. If you can find a server without people going out of there way to grief other players, you can spend endless hours of fun, needs more content, in its current state not worth the RRP, but it is worth it through the game pass.     Se me hace un poco plano, obviamente si no lo juegas con amigos es poco disfrutable, de hecho el jugarlo en grupo eleva la diversión mucho. Pero en solitario se ve algo vacio. Espero que con proximas actualizaciones mejore ya que la idea del juego me parece bastante original.

    La idea es bastante atrayente, el tener control total de tu aventura es bastante gratificante cuando funciona y cuando juegas con varios amigos más, pero lamentablemente esa no es la situación si juegas solo. Definitivamente es un juego grupal donde la mayor parte de la experiencia de juego la aportan los otros jugadores, para bien o para mal.

    O jogo realmente passa a sensacao de estar pirateando e navegando, o coop (com amigos) funciona legal, os graficos estao lindos no xbox one X porem nao tem hisstoria, a cacadas aos tesouros sao repetitivas demais e o jogo esta prejudicado por jogadores toxicos que colocam o colocam na prisao por nada...fora isso ate que 'divertido.

Sair navegando em grupo é bastante divertido e vai te dar um bom tempo de entretenimento. Porém, os pecados do jogo são muitos. Primeiro, falta uma narrativa mais interessante que dê uma imersão maior ao jogo. Segundo é que,Sea of Thieves possui uma mecânica interessante de gameplay e um fator de diversão muito agradável. Você consegue "rachar o bico" de rir com seus amigos de facilmente. Sair navegando em grupo é bastante divertido e vai te dar um bom tempo de entretenimento. Porém, os pecados do jogo são muitos. Primeiro, falta uma narrativa mais interessante que dê uma imersão maior ao jogo. Segundo é que, no geral, o jogo deixa quem está jogando muito confuso. Falta maiores orientações de onde procurar algo e em locais novos, não há tantas indicações de onde você pode vender determinados itens, pois as vendas aqui são essenciais para a progressão do personagem. Outra coisa é que, inicialmente, você não sabe se o que está escrito é o local de entrega ou de onde você deve procurar. Sem falar nos controles que são bem estranhos. Outro erro grave é a total bagunça que é a tradução do jogo. Em um momento está com interface/legendas em português e em outro, está tudo em inglês. Para um jogo que depende muito de orientações, quem não conhece o idioma inglês se perde facilmente. Quanto a gráfico, a Rare optou por um gráfico mais simples, porém funcional. O estilo parece deixar o jogo como se fosse um "Fortnite de Pirata" e eu acho que aqui combina muito bem. As opções de manejo do navio são simples e nada de tão complexo, fazendo com que a navegação seja agradável, mas com exceção de controlar o timão, que por vezes se torna chato e o mesmo poderia ter um giro mais curto (mas é questão de costume). Outro ponto que poderia ser mais prático seria a verificação do mapa. A Rare poderia ter dado acesso a um "mapa portátil", pois facilitaria bastante a gameplay. Outro ponto que poderia ser melhorado é o esquema de uso de canhões. Aqui a perda de munição será praticamente algo inevitável em muitas vezes, já que o jogo não possui uma "linha de trajetória" do tiro. Será muito fácil você perder o tiro, seja porque subiu ou baixou muito o ângulo do canhão. O esquema de guardar itens em barris e seu uso posterior foi uma baita sacada e funciona muito bem no jogo. Esses barris servem para guardar munição, frutas/comidas para cura e itens diversos, como madeira para tapar buracos no casco do navio causados por tiros ou batidas. Basicamente o único ponto mais complicado em relação ao navio é a jogabilidade nos canhões, de resto, é algo bem tranquilo de dominar. Quedas na água não são um problema total, já que em outra ideia genial, a Rare colocou as sereias para "viagem rápida". Tendo alguns amigos e definir a função de cada um, com certeza deixará sua gameplay bem mais divertida. Em resumo, o jogo tem uma proposta muito boa, mas uma execução não tão bem feita, onde muitas coisas funcionam muito bem e outras não tanto.… Expand

Search for pearls, search for merchant contracts, defeat the Kraken, defeat the Megalodon, trade animals, invade a skeleton lair. Take the 1000 Grogs Chest and get drunk while you carry it, carry the wailing chest and see how it cries flooding the cargo area ... It is best played with friends since the adventure is up to you.

    The bad:
    If you hate cartoon graphics, the game will not convince you. Playing alone in the Sloop is the maximum difficulty of the game as well as stressful since a well-organized party can steal your treasures along the way or easily sink your ship. Many no longer have so much time to continue side by side with adventures.

    The Meh!:
    There are those who say that the Kraken has no face, but that was more of a glitch since it does have a beak and yellow eyes that contrast with all the ink it throws into the sea to darken the water, all very gloomy    … Expand

    Fantastic game. Lots of fun and the best sea physics and graphics I've seen in any game ever! This is one of the very few Xbox titles that shined this gen. Well done to Rare.

    pirate game in first person I like the concept of giving you freedom to find what you want as much treasures as islands alone or with friends (always online since you need the xbox live gold) came out almost without content and I value that they have added more content although it's still missing to be a great game

    I have to say that for the past two years i have not played it since launch .
    But when i did start playing it two months ago i just got addicted to this game it’s just a beautiful world to sail in and raid as many islands as possible. It literally makes a dream come true and that dream is becoming a pirate

    A parte multiplayer do jogo com os amigos é boa, mas a quantidade de bugs e a falta de utilidades que deveria haver no jogo é de ****, contarei sobre algumas das ocorrências comigo, uma delas foi que estacionei o navio numa ilha e ele ficou meio preso com o píer, logo em seguida o navio começou a se mover sozinho mesmo ancorado e depois ele desapareceu sem nem afundar(foram 3 horasA parte multiplayer do jogo com os amigos é boa, mas a quantidade de bugs e a falta de utilidades que deveria haver no jogo é de ****, contarei sobre algumas das ocorrências comigo, uma delas foi que estacionei o navio numa ilha e ele ficou meio preso com o píer, logo em seguida o navio começou a se mover sozinho mesmo ancorado e depois ele desapareceu sem nem afundar(foram 3 horas perdidas de loot que estavam nos barris de madeira, canhão e comida, logo foram 3 horas jogadas no lixo, obrigado por essa sensação) e outros são quando você vai para lugares que talvez fique preso(mas não ficará) você é teleportado para o navio... além disso, cadê o "kraken" aquilo pra mim são tentáculos! E não podemos nos esquecer de que não há maneira de desativar o pvp mesmo se você só quiser focar na história, logo se algum grupo de players idiotas quiser te seguir eles irão até o fim do mundo e você talvez perca todo o progresso na missão e tudo que estava no navio sem nem ter jeito de contestar já que se você estiver sozinho contra um grupo de 4... acho que já sabe no que dará.… Expand

    1 ele não mostra o que fazer ou o que pode fazer, se quiser procure
    2 Não é só PvE o modo aventura, deveria pois tem a arena para PvP 3 Esse aqui é o que mata esse jogo de vez, se vc for desconectado perde tudo e reseta tudo, se vc estava numa jornada longa tipo Shroudbreaker e foi desconectado no meio da jornada vai ter que fazer tudo de novo    Vou encurtar pra dizer pq esse jogo é bosta

    No tiene absolutamente nada que me llame la atención.

    Menos mal que está en Gamepass y no lo he comprado... porque menudo aburrimiento.

    No destaca en absolutamente nada y lo triste es que es otro de los títulos que microsoft intenta colar como indispensable para su consola Xbox.

    This game is one of its kind. There is literally no sea of thieves like games. I love the ambiance and the setup, playing with friends, or meeting people is a blast.
    The game really is growing quite well. When it came out I wouldn't have recommended it but now it's a great experience.

    "this is one of the most boring games ive played" is the thing i said when the game came out but now here in 2020 it is really one of the best multiplayer/coop games ive played in a long time. there is so many things you can do fx. you can be scared and only do voyages(missions) or you can play the good way by attacking other players when you see them(the way i play).     so this game is really good right now better with friend it has awsome grapichs very cool sound design(fx when you hit an enemy ship it make a cool musical BRUMM to make it sound like it part of the music. it also has really good adaptive music like when the wind hits the sails just right the music swiftly changes to some higher speed music all and all the music is awsome and know just the right moment to start and stop) and it has really satisfying combat so that is why i give it a 9/10

    also the game keeps getting updated every month so that is really cool
    the tall tales are also really fun to do and REMEMBER to get a crew or some friends on your journey because it is just that much better    … Expand

    Sea of Thieves if a game that has so much potential but falls short. I played this with friends and learned that if you aren’t playing with friends you’re probably better just not playing it at all. Gameplay can be very fun when you’re actually doing something but half the time you’re just sitting in your boat playing music.

    I must say, I actually think this is a really good game. With friends it's obviously a bit more amusing but I like to play solo as well. It takes some time before it really gets addicted and really fun and many new players just don't play enough to see the beauty of the game.

    Can be a lack of content between updates, but rare actually care about their community and try to update regularly. Is a grind sometimes, but is very fun. Il ne s'en lasse pas depuis maintenant 2 ans.     honestly a surprisingly mediocre game that I only got because my cousin wanted me to play it and it was free on the game pass, the missions are rather repetitive and the combat boring and limited leaving little room for the imagination perhaps there is something I am missing but at the moment I barely enjoy the game with people let alone by myself.

    As someone that has played Sea of Thieves for a while, I’ve seen the backlash RARE recieved at launch. I stayed away, but it drew me in with its charming art style, and unique gameplay. When I first got Sea of Thieves, I was like a child in a candy store. The world was new, and expansive, and there was so much to explore.     We have nothing but respect for Rare's vision with Sea of Thieves, but it is a game as likely to chew you up and spit you out, as it is to embrace you. If the wind is in your favour then it can be a delight, but a storm is never far off if you lose momentum.
