    I thought Nintendo can't beat BOTW forever since it was just crazy. I was just wrong when I get into TOTK. Have you looked into various shorts for crazily creative mechanics?

    A genuinely great follow up to BOTW. A game that does things better in almost every way, while also striking a new tone that doesn't render the last game redundant. While BOTW gave you a vast world devastated with this sort of quiet loneliness for you to explore in, TOTK feels like a world come back to life during crisis; around every bend there is another scene of conflict to involveA genuinely great follow up to BOTW.     The new abilities are an absolute triumph. Obvious standout being Ultrahand which allows you to construct anything from a simple log bridge to cross a ravine, to fully functional mechs or attack planes. Outside of that new tools like Fuse and Ascend also offer a ton of variety. The former offers an imperfect solution to the divisive weapon breaking (something I was not a fan of in BOTW) by giving you a way of making your own new weapons on the fly with all of the different sorts of materials you came across in the previous games. Ascend was a pleasant surprise for me in just how practical it was. So many new movement abilities suddenly become clear and you start to see new paths that you can jump up to using it.

    I will say that some of the praise I've read in regards to things like the games dungeons is perhaps a little liberal. Yes, TOTK's iteration of a dungeon is definitely improved over BOTW's Divine Beasts. But if we're being completely honest with ourselves, the bar set by those isn't even off the ground, so making something better than them wouldn't have been hard.
    Sadly there's a lot of shared DNA. The dungeons here amount to the same "press five buttons and fight a boss" as BOTW. At the very least the dungeons have their own bespoke designs and unique bosses in them.

    The story is a vast improvement over BOTW, in that there actually is one.
    I love the idea of what the last game was going for, but I think the slightly more guided experience of TOTK works much better for having a more complete feeling narrative as well as a more well designed sense of progression.
    There are some great character moments here, and a really thrilling build to the big finale of the game that feels genuinely epic.

    The elephant in the room perhaps being that the game does indeed reuse much of BOTW's map. There are new additions of course, in the shape of the sky islands that litter the clouds above Hyrule as well as the depths; a vast map that matches the size of the surface underground littered with valuable resources, new enemies and bosses and some hidden quests.
    The touched up surface map from BOTW is largely unchanged, however there are some new settlements as well as caves and wells that can feel like reason enough to re-explore the now six year old map.

    Overall, it's bonkers to call this a DLC. It has more than an enough to be two full new games. If you didn't vibe with BOTW because of the stark departure from older Zelda, it may be worth giving this a shot if you know someone who can put it down long enough to let you play it.
    If you loved BOTW and haven't picked it up through fear of it just being BOTW 1.5, fear not. This is a new game through and through and is definitely worth your time.    … Expand

    For me was a disappointment , this game seems DLC, same main map, same graphics, the combat has not improved, only the new fusion mechanics. I don't believe it worth all the hype. For sure it doesn't worth the full 70 dollars price.

    I see a common trend with this game of the hypetrain getting the better of people. It’s a really great game for sure but the fact is that it mostly just feels like more of the same of botw with some minor gameplay changes. It is not different enough to really even have kept me interested all that much. I played botw over 100 hours a couple times.     10/10 because it's one of the best games I've ever played. But not quite perfect. People like Hestu and Bolson not remembering Link was an objectify dumb decision and the story is bare bones. But the gameplay was literally the best game ever made. So it gets 10/10

    A true masterpiece that makes Breath of the Wild look like a tech demo. I have hundreds of hours already and I haven't even beaten the game. While Skyrim will always have a special place in my heart as my favorite game, Tears of the Kingdom is by far the best game I have ever played.

TotK eludes to new concepts and characters that have a major impact on now only BotW but on Zelda lore as a whole, and while I don't think the delivery was necessarily the best, I do enjoy this aspect the most. Where TotK's narrative shines the most is    Lightning didn't strike twice with the new formula, in my opinion.

    What Tears of the Kingdom did right, to begin with, was the story. TotK eludes to new concepts and characters that have a major impact on now only BotW but on Zelda lore as a whole, and while I don't think the delivery was necessarily the best, I do enjoy this aspect the most. Where TotK's narrative shines the most is within what it doesn't strictly say outright, the Depths and it's shrouded history, the Zonai and their curious origins, the revelation of historical significance to the founding of Hyrule and so much more. There is significant features from the main cast, charmingly, albeit sometimes cheesily, voice acted and in many ways the presence, sacrifice and meaning behind them all is very much consistent.

    The new areas, of which there are criminally few, are very well done. The aforementioned Depths is an amazing addition despite becoming somewhat samey after the intial exploration, there is an atmosphere and tone within that area that hasn't quite been captured in Zelda for a very long time. The Sky Islands were far too few but the ones we did receive were immensely well designed and enjoyable, though I honestly thought there would have been far more than there were. I must say the one mechanic that left the most impression on me was the item fusion for weaponry and shields, put bluntly I enjoyed that aspect very much because of the ability to make materials collected mean so much more.

    There are some things, that plainly haven't changed of course, combat is largely unaffected if you happen to be looking at the execution of combat, as opposed to the preparation. Timed dodges, environmental effects and parries are all largely unchanged, Link does not move much differently. The world, while receiving some major cosmetic overhauls in certain areas, is also very much the same; this fact is one you begin to feel after a while in my case, given that the game seems to encourage you to skip most of it with the devices you construct.

    My gripes, and yes that's the best word I could come up with to refer to these issues with TotK, is I feel there wasn't enough new game here to facilitate the new title. If you take away all that was reused content from BotW, you're ultimately left with the narrative, depths, sky islands and ultrahand. On one hand, I love the freedom and creativity that can come from the Ultrahand and it's devices. The weapons are largely ineffective and inefficient and the use of them for navigation really robs the game of that original BotW element of exploration though perhaps that's because there's not much else to explore.

    TotK is a good game, please don't misconstrue the score to mean otherwise, it is well above average in every respect, but it doesn't come close to hitting that infamous mark that BotW did. Neither are my personal favorites for the Zelda franchise, but the developments in TotK seem to underline the flaws that weren't as obvious with BotW. TotK seems to keep much of what BotW did right, while not really doing anything to improve what it did wrong, such as the memories, or mismatched narrative pacing. The ending itself, and the completion cutscenes of the otherwise excellently developed Temples, are monuments to this issue.

    I have also played the previous botw. I honestly thought that this totk would not surpass the previous one, but that expectation was wrong. It has been more than a month since its release and I am still discovering new things. It really is a great game.

    I have lost my passion for gaming. TOTK brought it back. This game is not perfect and still I can call it masterpiece. The amount of heart that the devs put in to this game is commendable. Looking forward for another excellent Legend of zelda in the future.

    This was one of the best sequels I've ever played. Felt like a very powerful entry with great storytelling, pacing, and it felt so powerful towards the end. I had chills and was tearing up because of how much I was loving this as I beat this; then thinking back to how fun breath of the wild was and just felt this intense awe/raw feeling after completing. Haven't felt this way butThis was one of the best sequels I've ever played. Felt like a very powerful entry with great storytelling, pacing, and it felt so powerful towards the end. I had chills and was tearing up because of how much I was loving this as I beat this; then thinking back to how fun breath of the wild was and just felt this intense awe/raw feeling after completing. Haven't felt this way but definitely always loved Zelda and will easily continue to do so if this is how they make their games.     One of the best videogames I've played in my life, it's amazing that this is running on a switch, I love the new mechanics, but still miss the infinite sheikah bombs, the freedom this game gives you is another awesome thing, you can do what you want the way you want and the order you want

    Botw is my favorite game. First I thought Totk was better but after some hours in I was so bored because of the repeteive content. The diversity of the game is amazing, yes. But the quantity of those often bland elements makes the world not fun to explore. Shrine quests depend on simple building too often, as it is a base mechanic of the game and it shouldn't be even considered as a puzzleBotw is my favorite game. One small example is the Monsters Items. In Botw most of it where. pretty useless. But in Totk you can now glue your own weapons together. And the Monsters drop often pretty strong Items which are useful to create very strong weapons. I can at least say this gives you way much more motivation to kill the bosses. And dont be scared if the first hours of the games dont really appeal to you. When I started the Game I wasnt rly sure if it will even be honorable next to Botw. But no Bote is the small thing here. Totk gives you just way more. And very important: Please go blind into the game without spoilers. This will enhance your play-through because you'll get to see much much more surprises, because you dont expect it.    … Expand

    I've almost completed the main quest line and I really can't get enough of playing this game. You walk to somewhere you see something else you go to there and before your halfway your sidetracked again. It's just amazing how they improved an already amazing game so much. Better story, better enemies, better mechanics, better world and so much more.

    I loved BOTW and really did not think they could top that game. Well I was wrong so so wrong. Tears of the Kingdom is hands down one of the best video games ever made. The sheer amount of things you can do is astonishing. None of the things you will be doing are unrewarding. It is all so fun. I have gotten lost delving into the crafting system so many times. Creating your own ANYTHING isI loved BOTW and really did not think they could top that game. Well I was wrong so so wrong. Tears of the Kingdom is hands down one of the best video games ever made. The sheer amount of things you can do is astonishing. None of the things you will be doing are unrewarding. It is all so fun. I have gotten lost delving into the crafting system so many times. Creating your own ANYTHING is like a gamers dream. Like come on have you seen the videos of other people's creation!? So cool. This game needs to be experienced by any gamer. It seriously reinvigorated my love of gaming after so many awful releases. This game runs on the Switch mind you. Like how did they do that!? Serious props to the dev team.     gioco quasi perfetto , di una bellezza unica ma che non raggiunge a mio parere la vetta raggiunta dal suo predecessore ,ma lo posso tranquillamente definire un sequel che breath of the wild meritava .Consigliatissimo e come voto si merita un bel 9/10 ma per chi é interessato a giocarlo dovrebbe aver per forza giocato a breath of the wild per non perdere un qualcosa della lore e della storia

For me it’s held back by the cumbersome archery UI where you pause the action to scroll through arrow fusions for several seconds each time you fire, and the awkward companion powers which are more finnicky to use since the require interacting with you companions themselves to activate.

    Breath of the Wild's approach, while lacking in some areas of the overworld, kept you grounded and involved in navigating the world itself. Tears of the Kingdom wants you to skip it by creating any amount of vehicles to navigate over those some obstacles. Because of this, and the quality of other entries in the Zelda franchise, I don't feel that Tears of the Kingdom is necessarily better than Breath of the Wild, it's just more of it.

    That said, it's deeply enjoyable if you cast aside your experience with Breath of the Wild, the cast, voice acting, story implication and gameplay still chalk up to be the new standard for what Zelda games and open world games should aspire to.     Best Zelda game of all time. Absolutely fell in love with the open world once again and all the new mechanics this game introduced. What a grand adventure this was.

Ou pode deixar mas que adicionasse novas armas além de master sword e galhos de Árvores...magine armas lendárias como sla uma luva q desse força, uma espada dourada, uma masamune uma excalibur olha q top são armas legais e baús pequenos,médios, grandes, hyper grandes etc..     This game was the perfect sequel to BOTW. I have 210 hours on BOTW and already have 110 hours on TOTK. There is so much to do other than normal bread-n-butter side quests like Addison, Boss monsters, and well-delving. There are some familiar puzzles (Koroks!) but with completely new abilities. The temples do bring part of the old Zelda back but you have multiple ways of getting throughThis game was the perfect sequel to BOTW. I have 210 hours on BOTW and already have 110 hours on TOTK.     Games not bad, but it's really just breathe of the wild dlc. Game did not grip me the same way as the purification due to minecraft mechanics over traditional abilities that make you actually feel like a Zelda game. Also, let's be clear, three focus of this game is low. You'll be making your own fun, and if that's not for you, your like me. I don't want a game to hold my hand, just want anGames not bad, but it's really just breathe of the wild dlc.     Tears of the kingdom se ha convertido en mi nuevo Zelda favorito y reemplazando a OoT y A link to the past. Después de más de 200 horas de juego ame el juego de principio a fin, debo de admitir que es el segundo juego que me logra sacar un par de lágrimas ,el primero siendo TWD de telltale games. Es fácil perderte por horas sin siquiera tocar la historia principal, las aventurasTears of the kingdom se ha convertido en mi nuevo Zelda favorito y reemplazando a OoT y A link to the past.     Absolute best Korok torture device on the market I could find. I tried many before this one but those nasty little buggers kept escaping. One day however, my friend showed me this product and my life has changed forever. I especially recommend using rockets, bombs, and stabilizers.

    Same map as botw but the ads like temples are not enaugth for being a 10.
    Its like a persona 5 royal. Half of the game is the same as the game launch ed on 2017.
    Still a very solid game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As a long time Zelda Fan, when I thought Breath of the Wild Impressed me, Tears of the Kingdom takes the cake with its immersion and gameplay. With the new gaming mechanics, the possibilities are endless. The world is beautiful, huge and packed with lots of content to explore. The map feels like 3 maps in one. I wasn't expecting the Depths under Hyrule! Loved the way the game started and how story driven it is compared to BOTW. Many of the side quests are long and fun to do as they have story to tell. I'm also happy that they added temples again. I am 100 hours in the game and still have lots to do. I've been enjoying the game and can't put it down.… Expand

    Es increíble lo que el team Zelda ha logrado con este juego y sobre todo en esta plataforma que es Nintendo Switc y todo lo que eso conlleva, incluyendo obviamente todas las limitaciones técnicas con las que cuenta la consola y su hardware que salió estando desfasadísimo en 2017. El juego es simplemente impresionante y digno del GOTY.

    This game had everything breath of the wild offered and then added everything that game lacked. Its story was so nice and gameplay was so much fun. And the addition of the underworld that mirrored the overworld was amazing.

    Great game! Nintendo took what made BotW bad and got rid of it. And took what made it good and made it getter. Better story, better combat, better exploration. The world doesn’t seem so empty anymore

    Me gustó mucho la posibilidad de crear infinitos caminos a un problema además de su gran y extenso mundo de 3 niveles que dejan satisfecho a cualquier explorador de videojuegos. Mi conclusión es un juego 10/10

    Undoubtedly fun game, with plenty to explore and discover, enjoyable characters, puzzles and mechanics. The combat is at its core, fairly easy and simple - many of the tougher enemies have obvious exploits with your abilities or weak spots, so no enemy feels too tough, for the most part. The combat has a wide amount of freedom with customizable structures, which is arguably one of theUndoubtedly fun game, with plenty to explore and discover, enjoyable characters, puzzles and mechanics. The combat is at its core, fairly easy and simple - many of the tougher enemies have obvious exploits with your abilities or weak spots, so no enemy feels too tough, for the most part. The combat has a wide amount of freedom with customizable structures, which is arguably one of the strongest points to the combat system, but they don't ever feel necessary and practically every fight can be solved with your typical weapons. Exploration is fun and fairly rewarding - you will often encounter characters along the way with quests, new shrines for occupying your time and there will be plenty of instances where you will stray away from your goal just by wandering around. The sky islands are particularly fun to explore, and the dungeons usually have pretty fun lead-ups - however, the dungeons themselves, while visually striking, could be more ambitious, like in the older titles. I like the imagination put into some of the areas you can find - such as encountering a wandering boss or finding a mystical dragon to ride. Your allied characters are likeable, and the story is relatively engaging, but a little basic. The biggest letdown for me was the Depths area - a great concept, but ultimately there isn't much to do in the Depths besides quests, finding tough monsters (which can also be done in the overworld), and completion metrics with unlocking the lightroots. The most interesting thing for me to do in the Depths was find armor, but as soon as I found that most of the armor pieces were just Breath of the Wild DLC sets, most without major statistical improvements to the most basic of armor pieces found in the overworld, I lost interest in trying to find these pieces quickly. Overall, the game is very solid, but perhaps not ambitious enough.… Expand

    Solid experience, as a relative new Zelda fan. I really enjoyed this entry in the franchise. The story is similar to breath of the wild which is a downpoint. The combat is similar to BOTW However it opens up a lot due to new mechanics/abilities that link adquires as the story progress. I hate the fact that you lose basically all hearts when you start the game (I understand that it is anSolid experience, as a relative new Zelda fan. I really enjoyed this entry in the franchise.     BoTW was so good it made it really difficult to enjoy any other game after playing it, this game is so much better that it does the same thing to BoTW!!!

    Une suite directe de BOTW qui ne va pas au bout des choses. Les îles célestes ne sont pas exploitées. Les sanctuaires sont répétitif, la réalisation (avec une switch vieillissante forcement) est moyenne. Un prélude troooop long et ennuyeux Bref pas le meilleur des Zelda.

    Cuando anunciaron TOTK mi hype subió a las nubes, así que me propuse esperarlo y jugar BOTW nuevamente un mes antes del lanzamiento del nuevo Zelda... y fue mi gran error.
    A pesar de que el juego en sí es una maravilla, no deja de ser la secuela demasiado continuista para mi gusto de BOTW. Para esperar TOTK jugue nuevamente 100 horas    Jugue Zelda BOTW en año 2017. Que maravilla de juego.

    Tears of the Kingdom conseguiu o impossível: tornar seu antecessor uma mera demo. O jogo é sensacional, as novas mecânicas funcionam muito bem e o melhor, conseguiu produzir um enredo e narrativa muito cativantes. Um dos melhores jogos da história!

    Took everything about BOTW and improved on it! Amazing game play and combat. Exploration has never been more fun with ways to make vehicles. From the depths to the sky I have so much fun exploring hyrule. BOTW was already my favorite game of all time, now it is tears of the kingdom!

O jogo é 10/10 para mim pq, ele adiciona novo inimigos e novas áreas simplesmente deixa jogo cheio de conteúdo sem contar que tem várias quest tanto side quest quando adventure quest algo que no Breath não tinha tanto te dando várias possibilidades sem contar nos novos personagens Sonia, Rauru e Mineru que tem simplesmente um desing incrível! As memórias são incrivelmente boa já que realmente mostra mais da história sem contar que também e muito emocionante as cenas o final do jogo é melhor coisa que tem uma batalha nós céu de hyrule em cima de um dragão isso deixar o jogo casa vez mais épico tem tantos detalhes que simplesmente deixa esse jogo se o melhor Zelda de todos mais se fosse falar de todos não iria dá.… Expand

    There is zero excuse for making a copy pasted game, right after tutorial section of the game, it became too boring and felt like I was playing the same game all over again as I did many years ago.

    The best thing about the game by far is its physics, which I suppose other games don't do because of its difficulty, and that must be valued

    The good thing is that, thanks to the limited possibilities, the creators couldn't go crazy and swing for hundreds of game miles. Instead, they created what could be called Elden Ring in a travel pack. [Issue#328]

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
