This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

Tears of the Kingdom is a fantastic game for us who love to revel in worlds, to let the wind guide us and show us the world rather than tell us about it. It makes breath of the wild look basic and unfinished. Nintendo once again raise the bar for themselves and the industry as a whole. I love this game and you will too.

I enjoyed the every aspect of this game. The only observation that I would like to mention and it is not a bad thing, is that the game has so many things to do and explore that overachievers might feel overwhelmed with so much content.
However if you relax and take it slow, the game becomes extremely pleasant and ejoyable.

For the 1,000th time. It’d be great if maybe they repeated their tips two or three times tops, then quit after that point.

The game is nearly a masterpiece to me.

We’re a sandbox generation, so building contraptions was fun to encounter in a Zelda game, but soon enough there are plenty of portals and towers unlocked for fast traveling between the three layers of the world that the feature isn’t used as much in mid to late game. (Fine with me, tbh, it got too time consuming to build all the time).

So those Koroks that need to be reunited with their friends? I think maybe 3 or 4 got reunited the first couple days. After that, they’ve been completely ignored. Poor neglected Koroks. LOL. Just too many of them.

The sky islands and the underground are incredible experiences at first, but they are big and basically empty. I play about 8 hours a week now, and find myself visiting them for quick sessions of grinding as nothing entices me to stick around long. I replayed BOTW many times over the years, but with how ToTK is such a huge game, I don’t see how I’ll care to restart it from the beginning. Maybe that’s why I’m taking my time with all the side quests, knowing this might be my only time through LOL.

The storyline is more complex, layered, and interactive than BOTW. Rather than the townspeople hunkering in the towns afraid and needing saving from pockets of monsters, they are a bigger part of the story, trying to “help” solve what is going on. There are all sorts of researchers about, and monster fighting teams, etc. You even get to fight alongside the Gerudo army. The personalization of NPC’s really helped TotK excel over BOTW.

I might be rare that I like the breakable weapons lol. Upgradeable outfits compensate for having weaker weapons (maybe even over-compensate). Just plan to take the time to make a couple outfits really strong before you progress too far, then you can take on toughter monsters and use their parts to fuse better weapons.

The only thing I find strange is that I have no desire actually beat the game. I’ve watched videos and it seems like a frustrating, arduous task anyways. In BOTW, Zelda (and others) constantly urge Link to rush and help, but the story in TotK is more about the unraveling of mysteries, and is less urgent feeling.

Although I liked building Link’s house, it also looks like an IKEA project. LOL

My only problems with this game is the performance of the game and the difficulty. For the performance is that this game holds on to 30fps all the time if there is something big like a lot of enemies than it will freeze but, thank goodness for just 1-2 seconds. The difficulty is also my complaint because it gets so hard even in the depths but, it's a good thing to show how, when you beat the enemy or boss you finally found happiness and stop raging like me. These two complaint s can be brushed aside for how good this game is. So that's why I give this game a 10/10. Expand

I'll be honest, at first I didn't understand it in the slightest, I was disoriented in the mechanics of destroying weapons, in the "simplified but still intense" combat, but above all by the higher difficulty of the game compared to my standards (my standards: assassin creed)
    .
Only after the first essay did I realize the masterpiece in front of me, exploring Hyrule is quite fun, even if I prefer to be guided by 7 different indicators, the secondary quests are there, the sanctuaries make me freak out, but if you put your ingenuity into it they also become satisfying to solve thanks to Link's new powers, and then the variety of armor and customization (things that I find fundamental in open worlds) are not bad

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is by far the best game of all time. Its really fun, the story was great, the map had so much stuff in it, and it inproved all the things wrong about Breath of the Wild. My favorite part in the game was the depths which is basically a second hyrule and the caves on the surface had so much to discover. They really filled the map up with quests, dungeons, shrines, koroks, and enemy camps. They made breath of the wild, which was previously my favorite game of all time, look like a tech demo. I loved all of the new abilitys ecspecially ultrahand, I loved building tanks and mechs to fight and travel hyrule. They made really good dungeons that are much better than botw dungeons and the sage abilitys that you use in the dungeon are fun. Best game of all time 10/10.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. TotK is a bit of a let down all things considered. As a complete package I find the game to be alright the pros and cons tend to even out for me. If you enjoyed BotW you'll likely enjoy TotK as its no secret the games are very similar.

To get the biggest negative out of the way I feel that the combat is a real let down. I wasn't expecting a dramatic change from BotW but it feels like there was no adjustment to how quickly weapons break. The fusion mechanic is alright it just feels to me like an added step in getting weapons that can actually manage to hurt monsters. Both of these factors made me almost always avoid combat whenever possible. To finish off the subject of combat, by the end of the game having more HP felt like more of a problem than anything else. I'm unsure if this is how the game actually works so maybe I'm wrong but the more HP I had the stronger variants monsters were around Hyrule. I spent more than half the game at 5 hearts and it wasn't until I upgraded my HP that I started to encounter more powerful enemies. I always felt like I could die in 3-5 hits no matter how much HP I had.

Another major problem I have is the story. Not so much as to what happens in the games story but that again all the good parts of the games story happen before the events the player gets to personally experience. While this happens a lot in the Zelda series I feel like almost every game has moments outside of the final battle where a pivotal event takes place. There really is no such event in this game. Outside of the final battle I would argue there is no story development that takes place in this game. You again find memories of the past and help the four races solve an issue with their home which awakens them as a sage to help you in the final battle. Those moments aren't bad and the problems the four races face in this game were interesting its just everything felt disjointed.

The dungeons overall were better than BotW but in the end they were a bit of a letdown. The airship was the first I went to and I had a very good time with it I found it to be a great experience from getting to the dungeon until defeating the boss. The other three dungeons I cant say the same for once I found out they were all the same thing I tended to not enjoy them. That being said the pyramid was interesting to navigate in my opinion and the worst one by far is the Zora dungeon. You can basically skip doing anything in that dungeon if you try.

So what would I say is positive about this game? The exploration obviously. Overall the world is fun to explore. It is fun to find shrines, while the shrines aren't amazing they're still fun to do. Overall the best shrines I would say are the ones that have an overworld puzzle to get into the shrine rather than a puzzle inside the shrine. Doing side quests, exploring the world, riding horses or building cards no matter how you choose to go through the overworld its fun. The sky islands are lacking in my opinion but still interesting. The underground unfortunately is a letdown. I did find all the light roots but there's really not much of anything else to do down there aside from the Master Koga questline and the fifth dungeon. There are no shrines in the depths and that's a little sad. You can go the whole game without ever going into the depths aside from the story dungeons. That realistically leaves 90% of the depths empty at least the sky is physically 90% empty and every bit of land you can go to in the sky has something to do. Regardless of that though exploration makes this game fun. Traveling through Hyrule finding shrines, quests, caves, and even the occasional Korok (I cant emphasize occasional enough as looking for more than that is insane.)

To quickly address the new abilities replacing the old slate mechanics. I thought they were okay overall. Ultrahand is most used and I'm not gonna talk about performance its the switch if your not happy with the performance I don't know what to say we've known the switch is underpowered since 2017. Building things to solve puzzles or vehicles is neat. It wasn't for me though and I actively tried to solve puzzles without it or travel without it. Ascend is the best ability hands down. I already mentioned fusion and I never used blueprints really.

Overall I'd say I enjoyed the game but it still deserves a six to me. Exploration alone can't save this game. I'm glad people enjoy it and say it's their favorite game but its just not mine. I hope that future Zelda games build from here as it feels like they didn't build from BotW. Adding more world and then not utilizing it. Adding another story you only get to watch rather than experience. It's a letdown. All that being said I enjoyed it and many others will hopefully more than I do.

BOTW is the greatest game ever made. Every village, every side quest, every unexpected twist and turn was a delight: an incredible voyage of discovery, and those discoveries were thrilling. I can't believe I am giving a Zelda game such a low rating but this game has cemented the fact that Zelda as we know it is dead.

This game is a complete chore, grinding for material to create stuff to grind for more materials just to repeat the same thing over and over. Want to upgrade your inventory then grind, want to get new weapons then grind just bear in mind that you will break your useless weapons to get equally useless ones, of course you also have the Ubisoft towers, a staple in chore-like open world titles such as this and the Assassin's Creed franchise.

There are no dungeons, exploration is not rewarding, not only are you exploring the same map but you are doing it for pointless loot too. God I miss key items and dungeons, remember how cool it was to open that chest not knowing what you'll find inside. Remember how cool it was to go into the overworld now with the key item to open new avenues for exploring. Back then the overworld was a big puzzle itself, in this title the puzzle are contained in another grinding mechanic known as shrines.

There is no story, no epic, no lore, no side quests, no memorable characters. It's just a bunch of mechanics and gimmicks, Zelda is dead and we killed it. This game whatever you want to call, but it is not a Zelda title.

I gave away this Zelda and don't plan to buy another BoTW like title, I'm not interested in Open World Zelda, if you like grinding and gimmicky mechanics this game is for you. If you like Zelda then it isn't.

Zelda was the only game that got me into buying a Nintendo console, but I guess not anymore. You lost a fan Nintendo, it's sad to see what Zelda has become. I hope 2D titles survive and don't get destroyed too.

Not to mention, the unique gameplay mechanics, such as fuse and ultrahand to help each player have an experience that is specifically unique to them. They did their best in changing and twisting the world so that it is not boring to revisit them. Well, I was burnt out at some point but found out it's just general "open world" exhaustion (which actually causes me to avoid such type of open world games as much as possible). But Zelda gets a pass due to its unique world building, mechanics, combat and with the new Fuse mechanic and Zonaite devices, mowing down enemies were never this fun. It allows for creative decisions, and each combat is a unique one that plays out differently.

I have to say some dungeons are much much better than the best BotW has to offer, but its lows are lower than BotW also. I don't remember not liking any of the Divine Beast dungeons but I genuinely disliked and Zora and Rito dungeons. Gerudo and Goron dungeons however were well crafted and I had a lot of fun exploring them. I also liked the initial "warm up" quests that leads you to these dungeons, much more so than the Botw. Actually I very much liked all 4 lead-up quests for dungeons.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Final Update: After 105 hours, finished the game. The depths are an afterthought, you just need to do enough there to gain batteries and complete a couple of quests and the rest is pointless. The story is also an afterthought: let's be clear, there is no path to the story which can be summed up as: intro cinematics, getting your companions, expanding your stash and unlocking regions, defeating bad guy, end cinematics *** credits *** more end cinematics. The number of main quests is actually extremely small, and the number of side quests is actually mostly fillers, barely more. The game is made to make you grind and watch the load screen to get a couple of items to be strong enough to defeat the bad guy at the end. Many times in the quest there are either issues with translations, or plain logic. As mentioned it's not a true open world as there is no story progression through your exploration of the map. FPS drop throughout the game is truly unbearable and the hindrance of your companions is also unbelievable annoying. It is said that repetition is the key to comedy, well this game is the plain demonstration: what a joke.

Update: played the game for 60+ hours, it’s empty, grindy, and repetitive to give a semblance of depth to this game. It’s a very empty and soul-less game. The stuttering and fps drop is really annoying, same as the cut scenes (if you’ve seen the cutscene for a shrine once, twice or three times, you just end up mashing the controller’s buttons). Thank god there are duplication bugs to help getting food and coins rapidly, because this game is worst than a chore. It’s bad enough that I start to root for the antagonist… it’s really not an action or rpg game, barely a Minecraft clone with unnecessarily idiotic puzzles).

I don't get the hype: the game is ugly, stutters, lags (controler or joycon response is... slow), and the world is empty with inconsistent use of voice acting.

Game mechanics are incredibly poor (doing a simple 360 takes 4 seconds, looking around to 'solve' the puzzles is equally enragingly long), no possibility to tune any game parameter or remap anything, it's worse than a PC game designed in the early 2000 and it's not refreshing to see pixelated shadows.

The use of some kind of cell shading to mask the low capacity of the console as well as using supersaturated textures with a mix low polygon models with high quality particles makes the game appear even weirder.

I've tried playing this game but every 5 minutes I quit since it's really just not that good and it's not even trying to be good nor modern in any sense of the term: it's like playing a game of watching the paint dry using one hand and wondering why this kind of stupid controller setup is.

I get it, people like to play games that basically play themselves, do not require any kind of character development, skills, or involvements so they just enjoy watching pretty colors playing in front of their eyes but I think there is a limit to that kind of mindlessness. Even games like the sims 1 have more depth!

Another theory for those justifying the time it takes to pass the "tutorial" section is the sunk cost fallacy: a self justification not to face the fact they wasted money and time. As such they need to self justify, and justify to the eyes of others, having wasted their time.

Interesting fact, just checked and most of the new 10/10 scores are from users with zero other rating or review. In this case, I'd look at the 4000+ positive reviews as being highly suspicious. Maybe 10% of genuine positive and the rest being bots or paid fake accounts.

This is a perfect sequel, in my opinion. It lives up to its predecessor in every way (except maybe the story) and introduces many new ideas, like the Zonai devices and the different levels of the map. It feels more like a traditional Zelda game than BotW but still keeps the same sense of wonder. One of the best games of all time.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As an avid and long-time fan of The Legend of Zelda series, I have eagerly played nearly every title, which is why I find it disheartening to say that "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" (TOTK) marks a significant downturn for the franchise. While its predecessor, "Breath of the Wild," introduced a departure from the established formula, TOTK continues down this path with even more gimmicks, diminished depth, and an underwhelming story.
Nintendo's decision to take one of their most cherished series and turn it into a cash-grabbing scheme aimed at the lowest common denominator is truly appalling. TOTK entices players with superfluous physics mechanics, an abundance of lifeless non-playable characters, and a world that feels artificial and devoid of substance. In stark contrast, the 1998 release of "Ocarina of Time" on a modest 64 MB cartridge managed to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience despite the technological limitations of its time.
For those of us fortunate enough to have experienced "Ocarina of Time" during its prime, we were introduced to a vibrant Hyrule brimming with life. It was an adventure that transcended mere gameplay; it felt like an immersive journey that captivated our senses and emotions. Regrettably, TOTK falls short in every aspect. It lacks depth, fails to introduce memorable characters, offers an underwhelming narrative, and possesses a soundtrack that fails to evoke any genuine praise.
However, credit must be given where it is due. TOTK does replicate the visual design of "Breath of the Wild," a somewhat noteworthy achievement. Additionally, the introduction of new building mechanics adds a refreshing element to the gameplay, although these alone are insufficient to redeem the overall decline that the series has experienced. While the Lighting Temple holds some nostalgic value, it, along with the other temples, merely serves as replacements for the Divine Beasts from "Breath of the Wild."
One of the significant grievances I have with TOTK is its complete departure from the fantasy realm into the realm of science fiction. The Legend of Zelda has always been a fantasy series of the highest caliber, with a few entries incorporating subtle sci-fi elements. However, TOTK abandons the series' fantasy roots entirely, transforming it into just another generic sci-fi game. This departure raises questions—why not equip Link with a spaceship and a blaster, completely disregarding the enchantment of Hyrule? After all, the vast galaxy beckons, and why confine ourselves to the barren sky islands and depths when we can expand the breadth of the game at the expense of its depth, venturing into outer space?
My point is simple: everything that endeared The Legend of Zelda to us old-school gamers, has been stripped away. A captivating story? Nowhere to be found. Memorable characters? Sadly lacking. A musical score that enraptures players with its beauty, breathing life into every scene and landscape, fostering an emotional connection with the game world? Forget about it! The list of disappointments goes on and on.
In the hopes that this downward spiral ceases with TOTK, I implore all those enthralled by the game's allure to reconsider their perspective. It is our responsibility as gamers to maintain the integrity and quality of games, collectively recognizing the importance of preserving the very essence of what made The Legend of Zelda series so cherished. Let us not succumb to drinking the Kool-Aid but instead seek to rekindle the magic that once enchanted our hearts.

You watch it happen, and feel a bit of a background character in the grand scheme of things. Lots of really great characters, but you don't do much with them. Alongside that, The Sky Islands are very much sent into the background and for a really visually appealing and interesting idea, there isn't very much with it.

Besides all of that, the game play and experience is exceptional. The presentation of everything feels sincere and is a very comfortable game to play. Much of the core game play elements from Breath of the Wild are still here, like Shrines, Breakable Weapons, and Non-Linear story elements. Those still have their same flaws as they did in Breath of the Wild, although they have had improvements where the majority of complaints originated.

However, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom does everything that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild does well so much better than The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. So much so does Tears of the Kingdom do everything Breath of the Wild does better, that Breath of the Wild has become completely obsolete -- there is simply no reason for anyone to ever go back and play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If you never played Breath of the Wild, just skip it; Tears of the Kingdom does everything Breath of the Wild does, but so much better.

Though, if you *have* played Breath of the Wild, and have no desire to play it again, Tears of the Kingdom is very much the same game again. And while it does everything Breath of the Wild does, but better, it also doesn't fix any of Breath of the Wild's biggest problems -- such as weapon degradation, its frustrating and unintuitive combat system, and the fact that you can't really do much in the game when it storms.

Like botw where they turned physic gimmicks into a core game mechanic, they turned building stuff out of random junk into a mechanic. Sure you can fiddle around all day if you like, but it feels more like a sandbox than an actual fleshed out game. Having to do another set of "shrines" is inexcusable. Almost every reward or treasure chest is some type of consumable that is not special or unique. There are still only 4 "dungeons" that are laughably easy to get through. There is no reward for the time you spend fiddling around or jumping through the lame story's various hoops.
It's almost like they released botw and then instead of starting another new project, they just decided to continue development on botw. Then towards the end of development, they realized they needed a story and had someone throw one together they could shoe-horn onto the game and all its additional features.

Exploring these is very fun and challenging. But I still have one problem with this game. Near the end it drags on for waaaaay too long. You get thrown into a new location in the depths after you fought Demon King's allies in the castle. And instead of going after him, we're just going to build some funny robot. It makes no sense. I did not enjoy this last part in the slightest, the puzzles were nothing but frustrating. But the final boss however is sooo good. If it wasn't for these 2 problems, this would have probably been my favourite game, but unfortunately giving it a higher score just didn't feel right for me.

Runes suck here too, where is my stasis ability? the Recall is no replacement for it. The only ones i really liked was Ascend because it helps with getting to higher areas, as well as Fuse which lets me fuse objects like boulders/rocks/collapsed ruins to my weapons/shields for increased damage and defense. Ultrahand is basically just magnetism like in BotW, except that you can attach things together with it, which I always avoid doing whenever possible.
The only times where I can somewhat enjoy this game is when I'm playing it like I would play BotW.
This game should just have been a DLC, which would have been less terrible and wouldn't have somehow taken 6 whole years to make, and wouldn't have cost 70 bucks etiher.

It is the same game as BOTW. Same places. The sky islands are not nearly as compelling as they seem at the beginning. The sounds effects, animations, music, and themes of each area are literally copy and pasted. The only really fun part of the game other than exploration was the leadup to the Wind Temple. The shrines get boring as hell. I was skipping them after I got the stamina wheel up a bit. It is the same game.

MORE CONS: The vehicles in the depths sometimes don't even work (tire traction, too many hills for vehicles to roll, wing vehicles dont last long, etc... it felt like a CHORE.

    END: 9/10
The ending sequences and boss fights are imaginative and emotional. Maybe one of the best endings of a zelda game. However, it does not compensate for the drab and dull midgame, which is essentially a DLC of BOTW.

Conclusion: If you don't play this game, you won't really miss out on a ton, unless you like building and seeing which devices do what. I found the devices and builds served little utility throughout the game. You can survive with the same combat as BOTW... which, was already really basic. None of the bosses were that tough if you spent a decent amount of time in BOTW, which we all have.

The dungeons were still clunky and no better than BOTW. Let's all move on. BOTW had a good run.

The game is still fun, it just feels stale.

    -Jefes mil veces mejores.

Un f-ing GOTY of the year del año.

Especially ultrahand as your can create your own devices to aid you in battle, help you go places, etc. Fuse allows you to make many combos in weapons, such as adding a mushroom to a stick, which made it bouncy. Ascend and rewind are straightforward, Ascend can allow you to teleport up on higher surfaces, which makes exploring a lot easier and less frustrating at some points. Rewind is kind of like stasis in Breath of the Wild, but instead of freezing time, it rewinds time. Tears of the Kingdom allows for limitless creativity and problem-solving. Every NPC feels real which makes the world feel alive. Every village in the game has a new thing to it (Rito Village has a snowstorm, Lurelin Village has been taken over by pirates.) The four dungeons in the game have been upgraded and are alot better than Breath of the Wild's divine beasts. The game is also a lot harder than Breath of the Wild, though once you play for a while and upgrade weapons and armor, it gets easier. The soundtrack is also amazing, it really hits the spot. Tears of the Kingdom is one of the greatest games ever made. Expand

It's breath of the wild but everything is so much better, not even mentioning the amazing soundtrack, as well as the satisfying story and awesome new features. New enemies too, new powers, new and changed places within Hyrule as whole… and they name this game a DLC?! They don’t understand what a DLC is apparently. Anyway, this game is amazing! It even surpasses BOTW in so many ways, but the gameplay feels as fluid, if not better! The shrines are nicer, the towers are sometimes harder to active than those of BOTW and everything else, just feels different, yet, familiar! The world in this game, both on the ground, underground and above the clouds looks and feels AMAZING! I’m over 100 hours in and have not even finished 30% of the game!! There’s way more to do in this game than in BOTW, at the 100 hours mark I was done with most of what the world had to give, just some little side quests left and korok seeds, for the rest, I was pretty done. That comes to show that TOTK is way bigger in map size, gameplay and everything else!

I definitely recommend for everyone who loved BOTW and those who did not play BOTW, well do, and play this one too, you’ll adore both!

On the "full price DLC" debate: it does, in fact, feel like DLC, but there is so much content that it's well worth its price. In fact, most DLC would be overpriced compared to this game.
However, I wouldn't recommend buying a Nintendo Switch exclusively for Tears of the Kingdom, or any single videogame, really.

    PROS
-Some of the best environmental puzzle solving around which encourages yout creativity and rewards unintended solutions
-A highly-acclaimed physics system that manages to surprise you after years of playing
-A LOT of content (and it's mostly good)
-It's really cinematic at times (especially the music, the dungeons, the bosses and the skydiving sections)

    CONS
-The story is weak and incoherent
-Outdated graphics and performance dips in some situations (the day one patch helps, install it)

    YOU DECIDE
-Not only the main map, but all the formulas (shrines, memories, 4 main dungeons) from the previous game are brought over
-There is a lot of building to be done and it can get goofy

It's all here. Engaging exploration, cute visuals, lots of surprises, crazy breakable weapons, shrines, great OST, koroks, creepy enemies, cool towers, funny writing, a nice story and endless gameplay possibilities.

Only now you have some pretty new and impressive things to keep things fresh. Ascend is probably one of my favorite mechanics ever in a game, ultrahand is godsend, endlessly attaching things to your items never gets old and rewinding is pretty useful and creative. I'm not a "puzzle" guy and I thought these new things weren't going to stick the landing with me, but I was definitely wrong. It all works very well.

There are also two new maps. The sky islands and the depths. I absolutely loved everything in the sky, especially how well they were implemented to the story. It's astonishing. The depths were pretty fun and ominous at first, but became annoying and repetitive after a while.

TOTK is definitely remarkable, with plenty of things to catch you off guard, from the story to gameplay. The ending nearly brought me to tears, with some of the best "cinematic" moments and battles I've experienced in this franchise. It is, without a doubt, an excellent sequel to BOTW. A good one, with few flaws to point at.

Yet, one major feeling slowly crawled inside me on my 180h playthrough.

The sense of novelty kinda vanishes. Don't get me wrong, a game isn't supposed to throw new and shocking things at you at all times! But that overwhelming feeling I had when I played BOTW faded after 80h in. I felt like I was pretty much done with it after experiencing nearly everything new that the game had to offer. But there were MANY other things to do and explore. Felt like I was playing BOTW again and, although I LOVE that game, its replay factor might be its weakest aspect.

That's really the only thing I have to complain about it. Or the biggest thing, in a way. A few problems from the previous entry are still here (like how they handle the story and the infinite shrine hunting) and the new "friend abilities" don't hold a candle to the likes of Revali's Gale or Mipha's Grace. But this might just be me nitpicking at this point, to be honest.

Tears of the Kingdom is a fantastic game and there's A LOT to talk about it. But, for now, I'll just repeat what I said before: if you're like me, and you loved BOTW, pick this one up NOW. If you didn't, it might not change your mind.

But here is the biggest improvement the boss fights and the temples , all the temples are so fun to get through and you can use whatever methods inside them to get through it and just flying through the sky in your glider in one of them is the best feeling I had.

To be honest, this game is great, but as for it's zelda, so I have to be more critical at the worst update: version1.2 from Nintendo.

I cannot imagine that Nintendo would do such a disgusting thing that disallow players to find funny mechanisms/bugs to make game more happy, this update ruins the efforts from so many players who have much craze on this game and the blueprint gameplay, and I just can not figure out why they do such a decision: even though you think such mechanisms are bugs, they will definetely not affect the players who play this game in normal way while they enhance the experience of builders and extends the ability of blueprint. But they still ban players from explore this game world. So for what? Why they decide to make such a bad update? This game is of score 9, but the update version 1.2 just got -3 points from me.
The last company which do such things in my memory is Billizard, and it just publish series of worst games after that, and I do not want to see Nintendo goes on the same way, so if the employee of Nintendo can see it, just rethink your update, do not be over-confident, and bring the right of exploring in the fancy world back to the players.

Another must play for all Switch owners. Easily a 300+ hour game. Endless exploration across three layers of the open world.

Perfeito!

I did not expect to love this game as much as I do. There's just so much goodness to explore and do. The world doesn't feel stitched together as many open world games do. Tears of the Kingdom does not run into that problem. The Ultrahand adds so many options that a challenge can be overcome with 1000s of solutions. It's the perfect sandbox that allows for player expression.

The only reason I don't give this a 10/10 is because of the hardware limitations (framerate, resolution) and some pacing issues with dialog and cutscenes. E.g., when completing a shrine, let us just skip the entire thing vs. skip cutscene, wait for item prompt, accept, skip cutscene.

I wasn't sure how Nintendo would find a way to top their work in Breath of the Wild back when it came out, but I feel they have here – with years of more polish applied and refined exploration. [Issue #66 – July/August 2023, p. 71]

The good thing is that, thanks to the limited possibilities, the creators couldn't go crazy and swing for hundreds of game miles. Instead, they created what could be called Elden Ring in a travel pack. [Issue#328]

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
