    MultiVersus shows there's enough promise to expand the platform fighter genre with a new focus on 2v2 gameplay and intriguing movesets for each character. We didn't call Mortal Kombat a Street Fighter clone, despite them sharing a 2D plane. Nintendo didn't even begin the platform fighter genre: it only popularized it. The term "Smash Clone" is a demeaning one, which is a huge turnoff for many. MultiVersus should get love for its concept, and as it continues to build, hopefully it will get its time in the sun.

    Even when stripping away the glossy licenses and arenas, Multiversus remains an excellent fighter that feels like a great barometer of how to do free-to-play right. That low barrier to entry makes it a great way to spend an evening with friends, and with more characters to come, it could grow into a true “Smash killer” over time.

    MultiVersus is back and in a much better place. Its chunky, satisfying combat is lots of fun, especially with so many unique characters to toy with, and the roster will only get bigger and weirder in future. The Rifts mode adds a neat way to play singleplayer, and there's always plenty to keep you occupied with various missions to work towards. There is still room for improvement; it's a little rough around the edges, and Battle Pass progression can still feel like a slog. However, there's a lot to like about this free-to-play fighting game's zany crossover premise.

    While it’s clear that some things need work on MultiVersus, it’s encouraging to see that the things that truly matter – the unlocking of characters and the core gameplay systems – are the things that have received the most attention. These are easily the two strongest tenets of MultiVersus’ offerings thus far. With time, I can only hope that the lack of variety in levels, lacklustre music, and slower cosmetic offerings can be remedied.

    Each round lasts exactly the right amount of time, and each MultiVersus character has a distinctive enough set of skills that many players will find one they connect with. MultiVersus is definitely a game worth checking out, even if it wasn't free-to-play, and it's accessibility makes it an even bigger recommendation.

    MultiVersus is a solid Smash Bros. clone that's definitely promising, especially with its distinctly-playing characters and flexible gameplay. It may currently be slightly underwhelming in some regards but I'm looking forward to seeing how this project evolves over time.

    MultiVersus could have been a fun multi-platform answer to Super Smash Bros, but the choice to adopt a free-to-play model with staggering costs for characters locks much of the fun behind paywalls or extensive grinding. While it succeeds in delivering whimsical, cross-franchise battles that players love, the free-to-play model makes it all feel worthless. This mishandling results in a game that I feel, despite its potential, won’t retain players once they realize the hassle.

    This game has a fun combat system. Unlike the developers from Super Smash Bros, these developers didn't charge me $60 for a high quality game.This game has a fun combat system. Unlike the developers from Super Smash Bros, these developers didn't charge me $60 for a high quality game. As a matter of fact, they didn't charge me anything for this game. This game is free. It is very fun to beat up Tom, because it never gets old hearing him scream during his ringout. It's also funny seeing Bugs Bunny reaction when he loses. The inclusion of Porky Pig's iconic "That's all folks" during ringout is a stroke of genius. This game is one of the most biblical games I have ever played

    The voice acting is very dynamic. The character selection is off to a good start. The moves of the characters fit them well, especially for Shaggy. I love it when my games reference memes, it makes me laugh quite a bit. If I could suggest one character for this game, I would suggest Daffy Duck? I would love to play as him alongside Taz. Speaking of Taz, his animations are incredibly made.

    There is both online and local multiplayer. I hope these developers add visual hit boxes during practice mode. That way, I can learn how to accurately beat up my opponents with any character of my choice. I appreciate that this game doesn't rely too much on pretty colorful lights everywhere like Smash, to make the game more fun. I hope the developers adjust fix the hitboxes in an update. This game is free, so I suggest it to all!    … Expand

    Really fantastic Game, with a good deep fighting System and interesting Characters.
    I don't know there will be an Story mode or not, but the    Really fantastic Game, with a good deep fighting System and interesting Characters.
    I don't know there will be an Story mode or not, but the Game does not necessarily need it if you like to play PVP or Couch Coop with you friends.
    If there will be more PVP modes, more Characters and stays balanced, it will be the best alternative to Super Smash bros. on different Platforms so far.
    Since it's the beta of the game, it's clear that there are still some bugs that will hopefully be fixed in the final game.

    I hope for Rick and Morty as Playable characters and for more as the WB Universe is big.    … Expand

    Es un juego con mucho potencial y obvio compromiso real de los creadores por dar algo bueno y bien hecho, tiene muchos detalles, jugabilidadesEs un juego con mucho potencial y obvio compromiso real de los creadores por dar algo bueno y bien hecho, tiene muchos detalles, jugabilidades unicas, un modo de juego smash bros de peleas casuales, por lo cual si bien te haces mejor e aprende rápido, tiene buenos puntos como buen Routers de personajes y mecánicas como pases, oro para tener rosas gratis, gestos que si son buenos(Le sigue la fórmula como muchos juegos le siguen a fortnite pero este es de los pocos que no se siente forzado el que tenga) referencias bien incluidas, buenos y varios modos, y aunque tiene pocos personajes actualmente se ira incrementando, el mayor punto en contra son los gráficos muy por debajo de lo que se puede hacer y pocas cosas aún como personajes o skins y gestos pero lo mas probable es que esto cambie a medida el juego tenga apoyó.… Expand

It's fine as is right now, with good characters, albeit nothing really to play for except a meh Battle Pass. But since it is a game as a service, I expect this game to improve vastly overtime. If you are looking for a perfect clone of Smash, this isn't it, but if you like the genre and want to have a fun time with friends, give this game a try. That being said, this game is ruined by the terrible hit boxes.

With the exception of a few YouTube clips and the live action theatrical movies, I have not watched Scooby-Doo in over 40 years, but I highly doubt Shaggy ever had superpowers. This is clearly the developer's pathetic attempt at making the game memeworthy for relevance. Where is Daffy Duck? I would rather have him than annoying Taz. Speaking of Taz, the developers were too cheap and lazy to give him proper spinning animations. The player movement is PS2-like.
