    This game is a solid Smash clone with a few unique changes that actually improve gameplay, such as cooldowns and attacking getting weaker if used over and over again, forcing players to use variety. It's fine as is right now, with good characters, albeit nothing really to play for except a meh Battle Pass. But since it is a game as a service, I expect this game to improve vastly overtime.This game is a solid Smash clone with a few unique changes that actually improve gameplay, such as cooldowns and attacking getting weaker if used over and over again, forcing players to use variety. If you are looking for a perfect clone of Smash, this isn't it, but if you like the genre and want to have a fun time with friends, give this game a try.     This game has a fun combat system. Unlike the greedy developers from Super Smash Bros, these developers didn't have the audacity to charge me $60 for a low quality game. As a matter of fact, they didn't charge me anything for this game. This game is free. It is very fun to beat up Tom, because it never gets old hearing him scream during his ringout. It's also funny seeing Bugs BunnyThis game has a fun combat system. It's also funny seeing Bugs Bunny reaction when he loses. The inclusion of Porky Pig's iconic "That's all folks" during ringout is a stroke of genius. That being said, this game is ruined by the terrible hit boxes.

    The voice acting is very dynamic. The character selection is off to a good start. The moves of the characters fit them well, except for Shaggy. Since when did Shaggy had Goku powers? With the exception of a few YouTube clips and the live action theatrical movies, I have not watched Scooby-Doo in over 40 years, but I highly doubt Shaggy ever had superpowers. This is clearly the developer's pathetic attempt at making the game memeworthy for relevance. Where is Daffy Duck? I would rather have him than annoying Taz. Speaking of Taz, the developers were too cheap and lazy to give him proper spinning animations. The player movement is PS2-like.

    There is both online and local multiplayer. These developers need to add visual hit boxes during practice mode. That way, I can learn how to accurately beat up my opponents with any character of my choice. I appreciate that this game doesn't rely too much on pretty colorful lights everywhere like Smash, to give players the illusion that the game is fun. The developers better fix the hitboxes in an update. Well it is free, so I do recommend you try out this game.    … Expand

    Best Smash-like game yet. It needs more characters and stages, but not sure I trust this studio (mostly WB, actually) to properly and consistently update this game long-term. It has the same issues every game of this genre has, but there is a lot of potential here. I also have a feeling they will use this "F2P" model to make leveling up and whatnot so difficult as the game progresses. IBest Smash-like game yet. It needs more characters and stages, but not sure I trust this studio (mostly WB, actually) to properly and consistently update this game long-term. It has the same issues every game of this genre has, but there is a lot of potential here. I also have a feeling they will use this "F2P" model to make leveling up and whatnot so difficult as the game progresses. I just don't trust the game at all, especially long-term as I said. It's fun, not very well-balanced, and laggy as hell 50% of the time online. Would recommend anybody who likes fighting games to at least give it a try.

    Edit: Docking from a 7 to a 5 because, good lord, performance & lag was terrible at launch and it's gotten worse. Just awful.    … Expand

    The difference between this game and nick all star brawl is that Multiversus wants to market smash brothers whilst nick all star brawl wants to make smash bros, Multiversus is a ‘competitive’ fighting game (devs can’t add a ranked mode 3 weeks into the games official launch) that features a rather disappointing roster even compared to nick all stars. Stage selection is **** like balancingThe difference between this game and nick all star brawl is that Multiversus wants to market smash brothers whilst nick all star brawl wants to make smash bros, Multiversus is a ‘competitive’ fighting game (devs can’t add a ranked mode 3 weeks into the games official launch) that features a rather disappointing roster even compared to nick all stars. Stage selection is **** like balancing and the actual gameplay. If you compare the worst nick character to the best there is a noticeable gap but not a impossible one, in Multiversus you have to be 3x better to beat a high tier as a low tier. Also the hit boxes in this game is trash, your spikes hit above you and the devs don’t know how to actually design a game.… Expand

    Servers are still horrible weeks after release. Combat system is not as good as similar games. If you want to play as your favourite character play Nickelodeon All Stars instead.

    This game is ok i guess, for new players it is very easy to get into and coming from other fighting games in the genre would already make you good at this. It feels really floaty and the hit boxes are kind of weird at times.

    Debo admitir que esta genial, se ha vuelto de los juegos que mas he jugado en corto plazo pero con el paso del tiempo he ido notando algunas cosas. Primero, la comunidad: es la comunidad mas toxica que he conocido en todos los juegos que he jugado, me han llegado a vacilar por ganarme (con buggs bunny spammeando martillo y patada voladora, como no). El juego esta COMPLETAMENTEDebo admitir que esta genial, se ha vuelto de los juegos que mas he jugado en corto plazo pero con el paso del tiempo he ido notando algunas cosas. Primero, la comunidad: es la comunidad mas toxica que he conocido en todos los juegos que he jugado, me han llegado a vacilar por ganarme (con buggs bunny spammeando martillo y patada voladora, como no). El juego esta COMPLETAMENTE DESBALANCEADO: en cada parche cambian las estadísticas de el roster y los jugadores/comunidad optan por usar a los mas rotos de esta. Otro tema del que hablar son las hitboxes: son horribles, en ocasiones me han atacado hacia el lado contrario de mi personaje y me han terminado haciendo daño igualmente.

    Resumen: Buen juego para jugarlo casualmente, pero para jugarlo competitivamente, que es lo que he intentado, desde mi punto de vista te va a sacar de quicio por el desequilibrio que hay y por bugs. 5/10    … Expand

    Buen juego de la categoría de luchas tipo Smash, con buena cantidad de personajes conocidos. No obstante, no termina de conseguir la esencia de este tipo de juegos. Gracias a las futuras actualizaciones será un juego mucho más completo y disfrutable.

    The game isn't bad, but the controllers mechanics are HORRIBLE. I don't care if its inspired by Smash Bros, all I cared was the gameplay and honestly I wish there were more characters. Maybe they could add more when it returns in 2024, but hopefully they fix the mechanics.

    MultiVersus is fun and has everything it needs to succeed. The responsive gameplay, even with flaws, remains its main attraction. The cast is very well put together, and their abilities align with the backstory of each one of them, adding more immersion to the proposal.

    MultiVersus' return is a platform fighter that, while still fun as it used to be, decided to start from scratch, removing useful features and making its life more difficult than it had to.
