    From the moment I booted up the game, I was absolutely floored by the attention to detail that had been put into creating the magical world of Hogwarts. Every nook and cranny of the castle had been lovingly crafted with such care that I felt like I was really there, living and breathing in the world of Harry Potter.

    But it's not just the visuals that are so impressive - the gameplay itself is absolutely top-notch. I was completely engrossed in the storyline, which takes place after the events of the original series, and follows the adventures of a new generation of Hogwarts students.

    The characters are all so well-written and engaging, and I found myself truly invested in their lives and relationships. The magic system is intuitive and easy to use, and I loved discovering new spells and potions as I progressed through the game.

    But what really sets Harry Potter: Legacy Hogwarts apart is the sheer amount of love that has clearly been poured into every aspect of it.     Main story a bit generic but good foundation for future editions.
    The side quests are done great and are encouraging and interesting.
    The open world is beautiful but simple world design.
    Combat is nice and overall the game is great for the average gamer and excellent for Harry Potter fans.

    Love the game, can't wait for DLC but have to take points off for annoying hand holding + combat doesn't scale with skill - difficulty doesn't increase with your ability, especially when you get all the unforgivables. Overall, best WW experience since the original films!

    Guys, I am 48 years old and I have never been a fan of Rowling's work (but I began to respect her just for one of her famous phrases!), I have not read a single Harry Potter book, I have not watched a single Harry Potter movie. I have always treated Harry as a fairy tale for preschoolers. But this game changed my mind! I fell in love with this universe. For the first time in many yearsGuys, I am 48 years old and I have never been a fan of Rowling's work (but I began to respect her just for one of her famous phrases!), I have not read a single Harry Potter book, I have not watched a single Harry Potter movie. I have always treated Harry as a fairy tale for preschoolers. But this game changed my mind! I fell in love with this universe. For the first time in many years - I understand that not only will I go through the game from start to finish, but I will also play more and more. Everything is great here! World, characters, atmosphere, graphics. Only one strange bug - the woman owner of the "Three Broomsticks" pub for some reason speaks in a male voice - the children and I laughed for a long time - it looks both funny and terribly ugly. Everything else is just great! It's not just a big game - it's huge. This is such work! I admire! My respect to the creators! And I just want to ask them - more!     The game is perfect in my opinion it’s fun open world I can go anywhere the combat is satisfying the characters design is good, they add a hold bunch of different elements to the game

    This may be the best game I've ever played. I am mesmerized. Besides the main story line, which is unique and interesting, I got caught up in the unforgiveable curses side story line. This is truly an open-world game with some incredible graphics, and I found it gripping. You can go rogue and just begin to explore the map and see what you find. Maybe trolls? Maybe dark wizards? MaybeThis may be the best game I've ever played. I am mesmerized. Besides the main story line, which is unique and interesting, I got caught up in the unforgiveable curses side story line.     I just beat the game and wow, what an accomplishment on the part of the dev team! For a developer with no prior experience on open world games, they did a stellar game. Now I just hope they will work on expansions / DLCs that will bring us quidditch!

    Great visuals, beautiful music, good controls, enjoyable story, a lot of content that will keep you playing and staying in the world of Hogwarts for a long time.
    Great game so solid 10/10.

    Amazing game. Excited about the future of this series as this game has a ton of room for expansion. The current iteration of the game is everything I have dreamed about since a kid and more. I actually watch the cut scenes and I enjoy the combat way more than I expected.

    So yea, you cant trust meta criti at all. only 84 points? cmon. this game is absolute perfect!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is such a great game! I have gotten the platinum, memorized every hall in the massive, sprawling, and graphically superb Hogwarts castle! And just started again, last time I was in Hufflepuff, this time I'm going for Ravenclaw. Oh also, definitely complete Sebastian Sallows quest line, (Avada Kedavra is awesome)! The world is massive and jam-packed with interesting side quests, the recreation of Hogsmeade is also stunning. This is my definitive Harry Potter game! The broom mechanics feel fluid and fun, so do the Hippogriffs, Thestrals, (if you bought the deluxe edition), and the Graphorn. Rankrok is intimidating, the story is not anything special but it holds up and is still quite decent. The room of requirement is awesome, and I love the fantastical beasts that you can groom and basically liberate after you "rescue" them. Hogwarts has so many secrets and recreated places too, at first it may seem overwhelming! But in a good way! The first secret place I found was the kitchens after you tickle the pear and that is when I told myself I loved this game! The field guide pages are not very annoying either, surprisingly neither are the Merlin trials! In total this game is fun, fluid, nostalgic, and quite graphically impressive.     I have to say that when this game was first announced; I was not really interested, even though I watched the movies growing up, but thankfully that changed pretty quickly when I saw some of the gameplay back in January, and thank God I did because I loved this game from start to finish. It has beautiful graphics, a good story, fun and engaging gameplay, and multiple side activities.     This game was a big surprise for me. I've never been a big fan of Harry Potter but I saw how fast this was selling so I thought I would give it a shot and I have to say this game is so much fun. The combat is super satisfying and the story is epic in scale oooooh its so good BUY THIS GAME!!!

    Molto divertente giocarlo, il gameplay é ben fatto e non annoia mai. La storia forse è il punto debole, non essendoci scelte o bivi che la possano modificare in alcun modo. Sembrano quasi piú interessanti le trame secondarie che quella principale. Grafica ottima su play5. Un ottimo gioco che con qualche accortezza in più e una componente ruolistica e morale sarebbe stato ancora meglio.

Also, the sense of mystery and discovery inside Hogwarts is amazing - you could spent 50 hours in Hogwarts alone discovering all its charms. Great story, great characters and great side quests too.     Hogwards Legacy was bought by me at the start. I can say that this game impressed me (on the good side) with its approaches to small things. In Hogwads Castle, every element comes to life, there is a secret behind every corner. It's very nice when developers approach their creation with love.     Bon jeu! J'ai eu énormément de plaisir lors de mon aventure à Poudlard et ses environs. La narration est excellente et l'exploration également. Cependant, le rythme de l'aventure n'est pas constant ce qui à eu comme effet de mon coté et me faire perdre mon intérêt environ au 3e quart de l'aventure. Je souhaite une suite à cette histoire!

    Vraiment ce jeu n'est pas qu'un jeu "fan service" je ne suis absolument pas un Potterhead et pourtant le jeu me captive à chaque fois que je m'y plonge. Un réel plaisir à chaque partie !

    Ever since year 8 and being forced to read Harry Potter 1 and watch the first movie for english class I have been a fan of the series. I had (very) low hopes for this game all the way up until I played it for myself. They managed to nail the feel and atmosphere of the world in this game. Not only that, they have made it so enjoyable to play that even non-harry potter fans have come to tryEver since year 8 and being forced to read Harry Potter 1 and watch the first movie for english class I have been a fan of the series. Great to see a Triple A game do well, especially at release and not "fix it months later". It caters a lot to a casual audience and that is fine with me. More people being able to pick up and play this is great in my opinion.

    En tant que Fan d'Harry Potter , j ai vraiment apprécié ce jeux qui est tres fidèle au monde des sorciers .
    Pour moi , les Graphismes , le gameplay et la diversité des quêtes sont les points forts , sans compter l immense personnalisation au niveau cosmétique . Pour la personnalisation du personnage , peut mieux faire mais ca reste très correcte . j'ai hâte que la suite sorte

Hogwarts Legacy è perfetto per quanto riguarda l’ambiente magico di Hogwarts, il castello. La cura per tutti i particolari è a dir poco maniacale, anche se per quanto riguarda le attività dell’open world e la grafica degli NPC si poteva fare MOLTO MOLTO MEGLIO. Hogwarts Legacy è perfetto per quanto riguarda l’ambiente magico di Hogwarts, il castello.     Very enjoyable game. the climate of the books and movies is definitely here and the combat and all the spells are very fluid and very satisfying. Sadly the story is one of the things that i will forget very soon with expectations of 2 quests. another complain is that this game could be much much more than it is right now. still i recommend to every fan of potter and any magical worlds

    Look, I’m a big harry potter fan. With that in mind, I can say that this is the best game I have ever played. Even if you are not a HP fan, this game deserves your attention. Beautiful open world, great story and an amazing combat. For me this is a blend of an almost perfect franchise and an almost perfect game. Give it a try.

    The perfect Harry Potter game for fans. Did pretty much everything I hoped it would do.
    The world looks great and the combat feels better than I expected.

    Hogwarts does seem to have a lack of NPCs on PS5 unfortunately, which makes it feel a bit empty.

    On the other hand, a little disappointed with the world map. It is not easy to use and is not intuitive enough.
    This game is a success and I highly recommend playing it. You will not be disappointed.

    Vorne weg: ich bin großer Harry Potter Fan. Und dieser Fakt hat natürlich Einfluss auf meine Bewertung. Und nicht zwingend weil ich alles gut finde, was dieses Franchise betrifft, sondern viel mehr weil ich die Welt und die Vorstellung in dieser zu leben zu unglaublich spannend und anziehend finde. Denn Hogwarts Legacys größte Stärke ist auch gleichzeitig seine größte Schwäche: dieVorne weg: ich bin großer Harry Potter Fan. Und dieser Fakt hat natürlich Einfluss auf meine Bewertung. Und nicht zwingend weil ich alles gut finde, was dieses Franchise betrifft, sondern viel mehr weil ich die Welt und die Vorstellung in dieser zu leben zu unglaublich spannend und anziehend finde. Denn Hogwarts Legacys größte Stärke ist auch gleichzeitig seine größte Schwäche: die Spielwelt.

    Das Schloss Hogwarts ist kurz gesagt einfach nur phänomenal. Ab der ersten Sekunden und den ersten Schritten die man durch das Schloss setzt fühlt man sich heimisch. Alles wirkt bekannt und vertraut und die Erkundung hat bei mir in Summe wohl 20+ Stunden verschlungen. Durch die Filme hat man stets den Eindruck man kennt sich hier aus und war schon öfters vor Ort. Auch Orte wie Hogameade wurden mit viel Liebe zum Detail entworfen. Sobald sich das Spiel aber über diese Orte hinaus entwickelt verfliegt dieser Zauber etwas und man taucht in eine doch etwas leere und öde Open-World ein, die stets den Eindruck macht austauschbar zu sein.

    Die Geschichten rund um die Hauptquest sind ganz gut erzählt allerdings ohne die ganz großen Highlights. Die nebenquests allerdings wirken oft sehr einfallslos und sind eher beschäftigungstherapie. Das Kampfsystem macht Spaß, jedoch auch hier ist nach etwa der Hälfte des Spiels der Zauber etwas verflogen und man erwischt sich immer wieder die selben Tastenkombinationen zu drücken.

    In Summe überwiegt aber der Spaß den ich am erkunden hatte und die Zeit, in der mich das Spiel in die Welt von Harry Potter eintauchen lies. Klammert man dies aus, wäre es wohl allerdings ein höchstens durchschnittliches Open-World Spiel gewesen.    … Expand

    The feeling of exploring Hogwarts Castle for the first time is a feeling comparable to leaving Helgen in Skyrim or trying to find your way to Shujin in Persona 5. It is an overwhelming feeling of excitement and opportunity. The characters, especially the protagonist, Poppy Sweeting and Sebastian Sallow are extremely likeable and this is helped by some world class voice acting. It is an overwhelming feeling of excitement and opportunity. The combat is easy to learn and incredibly satisfying to master. The first half is definitely superior to the second, but it is a 10/10 game that exceeds it's high expectations.

    This game is a 10/10, little to no flaws, map design and game play is on point. Starts slow but after a few hours your sucked into the world around you as your progress and become more powerful.     Incredible atmosphere and soundtrack, perfect use of magic, only thing missing was Quidditch and Dementors to make it perfect.

    I was really impressed with this game. The exploration is fun, the combat is really good, and the story fits pretty well into the Harry Potter universe. Wandering around the castle and the surrounding villages is a lot of fun, and the side quests provide a nice bit of insight into the wizard. I only wish that the in game choices you make throughout the game had more effect on the gameI was really impressed with this game.     Hogwarts Legacy has a great character design and could have had a great story too but the story is not so strong. the gameplay feels great and exploration is so entertaining. visually its great and Hogwarts castle is so detailed.

    Hogwarts Legacy is definitely a beautiful-looking game that doesn't have a groundbreaking story, but does have a beautiful world, a fun combat system, broomstick flying, and of course an incredible amount of side quests and missions. [Issue#325]

    It's been a decade since we've had a full Potterverse game, but the wait has been well worth it. Hogwarts Legacy gets just about everything right, with its involving storyline and myriad of main and side quests. Perhaps its finest feature though is Hogwarts itself, providing as much joy in just exploring the halls as performing set tasks. We doubt a single Harry Potter fan will be disappointed. We certainly weren't.
