You even decrease some of them , I knew that keep doing the same round isn't the right way to enjoy the game but the grind always because of the **** up eco and the Microtransition **** don't it ? The car cost 2 dollar in GT Sport now cost 13.98 the Mclaren F1 recently shows up and cost 18500000 translate to cash is like 200 , It's a 90 dollars game it shouldn't be this greed , Microtransition **** was for those free game on mobile , congratulations Kaz you just broke a part of my childhood… Expand

    $70 for a game pushing microtransactions at every turn. I, like many others, do not like the always online nature of the game- i bought the game solely for single player. The cars, tracks, and physics are great, but the game feels tremendously more linear than past entries. Since you rarely get enough credits to purchase the cars you want, you basically live off of the cars you're given$70 for a game pushing microtransactions at every turn. Since you rarely get enough credits to purchase the cars you want, you basically live off of the cars you're given through the cafe menus. Tracks unlock through these menu completions, and so you never have a lot of choice in what youll be driving or where you'll be racing. The daily workout reward doesn't seem to be affected by the number of days in a row you've completed it, and the roulette tickets are absolutely terrible because they're weighted towards the worst prize even though it looks like an equal chance. I've gotten maybe 20 of these, and 18 of those i've gotten the lowest cash prize. The other times, i received a car part for a car i'll probably never own (and cant sell the part), and received a car i already own (and can't sell). In past GT's, the roulette wheel was something to look forward to! Now it's a wheel of misery.
    It's a true shame, because the core of the game is good, they just messed up how all of these core game pieces interact.    … Expand

    Je fais comme tout les autres utilisateurs je me venge , le challenge n'avait absolument pas besoin d'être relevé ont nous prend encore et toujours pour des pigeons .j'ai pré-commander 6 mois avant la sortie et j'ai pris la version à 100 euro et pour quel résultats...Le gt sport n'était pas complet mais il s'est bonifiés avec l'âge, pour celui ci c'est mal partis

    GT7 pay to win games!!! Sorry to put such a critical review for this game. But frankly the in-game payment model is outrageous for a paid game. I'm not even talking about the mode, all online, which for a single player game has no use. Clearly wanted reality outpaces fiction. If you are rich in real life, you will be rich on Gran Turismo 7.

    graphics are great, gameplay great, driving great, etc… BUT the micro transactions are really annoying. When paying 70 euro’s for a (premium) game, you don’t want to pay so much extra for cars…

We were told that we could sell cars. We were shown the races and their payouts. We were told that over 400 vehicles were available upon launch.
    ALL LIES!
    After only two weeks of launch they have decided you have to be online, you cannot sell anything, the payouts for races are now halved, and cars are not available unless you want to spend the rest of your lives grinding for minuscule payouts or………… purchase credits with your real life money. To win a championship in “The real racing simulator” does not earn enough money to purchase………. Racing tires.

    I’m pretty sure that winning championships across all levels of auto racing affords you buying tires.
    Seems like the only thing real is the micro transactions.
    Nice way to repay your loyal fans since GT1. They can have their silly pay to win micro transactions so that the try hard crowd can pay to win but the only way to make this right is to do the following.
    1. Get rid of must be online to play single player.
    2. Restore the race payouts to what they were at launch.
    3. Allow players to sell useless duplicate cars.
    And as a bonus add endurance races, and world championships with realistic payouts. Not enough money to buy two tacos at Jack N the Box.

    I was skeptical when Kaz said this would be a traditional Gran Turismo experience. My skepticism has proved to be warranted. What numbered GT game doesn’t have endurance races, a “Like the Wind” race or even B-Spec? This one. It’s essentially an upscaled version of GT Sport with different modes. Towards the end, GT Sport ended up being a great game so I don’t understand why this one didn’tI was skeptical when Kaz said this would be a traditional Gran Turismo experience. It’s essentially an upscaled version of GT Sport with different modes. Towards the end, GT Sport ended up being a great game so I don’t understand why this one didn’t live up to GT legacy. Even simple things were omitted that make the game worse. For instance, since GT4 you could by parts while in a race so that you didn’t have to exit all the way out just to buy a part for a race. Why is this an issue? The game has dynamic weather. That means, if you enter a race and it’s raining and you don’t have rain tires, you must exit the race all the way to the main menu in order to buy the tires for that vehicle. Once you go back in however, it may not be raining and you just wasted $20K. This sucks more as you’ll most likely only win $10K in winnings. The payouts for races are too low. It cost $100Ks to fully upgrade a vehicle. You’ll need to upgrade them because you’ll never win starting 40 seconds back from the leader. So once you’ve put all this money into a vehicle you’ll prob never use it again because you’ll need a different vehicle. Oh yea, you can sell the car for cash either so get your credit card out. Polyphony Digital squandered an opportunity to blow our socks off. It’s great to play once you’re in a race I must say but the overall experience is disappointing and mediocre at best. Wait to buy when the price drops.… Expand

Now I understand that pricing the cars so that they reflect the rarity and true world value of each car, but requiring a player to grind for over 20 hours just to purchase 1 of the top cars is ridiculous.     Sur Gran Turismo 5 et 6 on pouvait avoir une bonne voiture de course pour 2 à 5 € max, maintenant il faudrait mettre 180 € pour s'acheter le vehicule le plus cher du jeu

It would be nice to add a car with DLC in a full-price game, but I feel that the credit charge is a little overkill. I'm on a PS4 so I know I'm not getting the "top tier" graphics but I still see a big problem. The problem has existed since GT Prolog, "SHADOWS"... they are horrible!!! Although that's not the biggest issue I have with GT7, the obvious push and nurfs of credits towards trying to squeeze more and more money out of the wallets of ayers who bought this game is insulting. FORZA is better, just sayin'...lol… Expand

    I created an account just to rate this pile of horse dung, online for single player, MTX up the rear. Paid a load of money, then still have to work through grinding to get anywhere unless you splash some cash. Wish I could get a refund, but it's past the time that I can request it though. I'll just go play Project Cars or something similar.

I understand the game need difficulties and the sustainability but cutting the prize and maintain the high price of the car is just so unacceptable. Halved the rewards for winning races, pumped up the price of the cars and inability to sell any cars for credits. Your options are to grind, or cough up real money on MTX.     Aunque tiene grandiosos apartados artísticos , lo mas importante : la jugabilidad se ve mermada por el parche 1.07 donde se aumentan críticamente la dificultad para ganar dinero en el juego llevando a los usuarios a usar dinero real para poder descargar los coches , eso es un auténtico robo! Aunado a ese factor ,el online obligatorio es por demás criticable pues ,¿que pasará cuando se caigan nuevamente los servidores?
    El motivo de esta calificación recae principalmente en factores a futuro del videojuego , es decir
    ¿cuando los servidores cierren solo nos quedará un bonito portavasos de 70 dólares? ,pues debido al online permanente o futuros mantenimientos y caídas no vamos a poder jugar ni a modo de un solo jugador. Además de ello, las microtransacciones ,el parche 1.07 y la ambición de sus desarrolladores lo hacen un producto desechable ,decepcionante y que a futuro no valdrá nada ,valdrá un 0 a pesar de todo lo grandioso que pudo haber sido.
    Espero que arreglen pronto todos esos problemas y el mas importante , no queremos online permanente.

    Very messy development is disrespectful to users who have paid a high price.
    The deterioration of the race prize money is effectively a demand for higher fees from the operators, and we can only hope that no more games will be released that expose this kind of abomination.

    I never have written a review before, but i am so disappointed by this game, i simply have to take the effort to warn people.
    I played the first GT and i was a big fan, till GT7.
    First some good things about this game: - Looks good - Drives great (not so much for rally) Now the bad things: - Next to 0 single player content. Sure you can do cafe menu's. Which is fun at start, but    I never have written a review before, but i am so disappointed by this game, i simply have to take the effort to warn people.
    I played the first GT and i was a big fan, till GT7.

    First some good things about this game:
    - Looks good
    - Drives great (not so much for rally)

    Now the bad things:
    - Next to 0 single player content.
    Sure you can do cafe menu's. Which is fun at start, but starts to annoy quickly. This is because this goes against the genes of GT single player features.
    One of the most fun things in GT was that you buy a used car, get some money and either tune that ride or buy another used car which you actually liked. Tune it, paint it, make it YOUR car which you enjoy driving.

    The cafe gives you tonnes of cars (which goes against the spirit of real collecting and buying) and you need to use certain cars for certain races, which goes against the spirit of use one or a few cars you really like, pimp then and race alot with them. You can use the forced cars for a few races before the cafe menu's force you to use some other car.

    Even worse, after the cafe menu's (which will take like 6 hours) you can get some licence and you can do some short missions. After that 0 content left. All there is to do is brainless driving in lone circuits, no list of new championships, no nothing.

    -Microtransactions
    Like a real traitor the implement this after the reviews.Really sneaky and a very bad move. If you like at microtransactions as a sole component, you could think, well lets not buy them what is the problem?
    But the problem is that the game is rigged in such a way that you are steered to buy these credits for real cash, like cutting racing money rewards by 50%

    Add that little roulette thing that is only here to lure you even more into the "casino" mode, so again one step closer to using real money.

    -Old cars
    Not the biggest problem, but there are no latest models for any of the cars, all are outdated compared to the real world, i really dislike this, also i find there are not so many European cars, which i like the most.

    -Races
    Always rolling starts, always last in line, always chase the rabbit. What happend to starting from standstill and qualifing races, so you can choose to do them and start from pole position

    -Bad AI
    AI is really really dumb. They talk about some advanced AI which will come to GT7, again to try to look the game better then that it is.

    I can call more things out, but it is enough for now. I was the biggest fan of GT but now im not anymore. This was one of the reasons to buy a PS5 and not an Xbox, keep this op Sony and maybe next time i get a XBOX    … Expand

    No Super League? No damage model? No leaves, no dust on streets? Online mandatory?
    Competitors are doing better!
    Where are circuits like Rome, London, Paris, New York, Côte d'Azur, Eiger Nordwand, all the race tracks we have already been able to use in past titles?
    A lot has changed for the worse since GT4!

    This is the game I consistently bought from part one to six. I was able to drive all the cars that I wanted with a little grinding. But now, it is ridiculously expensive to own the in-game cars.

    Disgusting “micro” transactions (that ironically cost a fortune), forced online DRM, greedy and deceptive tactics all throughout the game. This is everything that is wrong with modern gaming.

    The game would be a 9/10 if it wasn't for a couple of things that completely destroy it and with its current state i don't think it deserves more than 3/10 I spent 80$ on the game to find out that i'm not gonna be able to fully enjoy it without pumping more money    As a long-term GT fan i'm really disappointed.     I spent 80$ on the game to find out that i'm not gonna be able to fully enjoy it without pumping more money into it or not enjoy it at all when there's a server maintenance. Last time the 2-hour planned maintenance extended to 36 hours. During this time none of the single player modes were available to play. I couldn't even look at my cars in the garage. It just allows you to play a quick race with one of the 7 (i think) predefined cars. There's not a single good reason for the offline modes to be not available offline. If they turn off the servers you're left with nothing, no matter how much you paid for the game. Ridiculous.
    Lowering rewards for races in 1.07 patch was a final blow to GT legacy. Those weren't lowered by 5-10-20% but by 50-75%. Imagine grinding the same race for 300 times to afford a car now. It's not an enjoyable game anymore - it's a chore.

    Furthermore - the campaign mode is really lazy. Every event is a set of 3 races which reward you 1 predefined car per each race - a car which you can't sell. In fact you can't sell ANY car. And every race is the same - you start last in a rolling start and chase up to the 1st place. There's absolutely no variety. Not a single grid start race, not a single drag/drift event, no endurance races, there's pretty much nothing to it, so if you played the first set of 3 races - you've seen the campaign.
    AI sucks - they don't avoid collisions and are eager to push you.
    The number of available cars/tracks is quite low for a GT game, bit better than GT Sport, but much worse than GT 4,5,6 (i haven't played 1,2,3).
    The "lottery" tickets you get are also a joke. It shows you 5 possible prizes, but it's rigged - 90% of the time its the lowest amount of credits that will be rolled (5-10k while cars can cost 10+ milion).
    Of course you're asked to spend money on the next ticket after every roll.
    Online lobbies suck - can't save settings, or even change the track in a lobby. You're forced to close it and create a second one which takes a while with all the settings.

    On the good side:
    Driving physics are good (except for rally races)
    Cars are well-detailed
    The moto-culture is treated with a huge respect and no racing game gives that feeling of participation and celebration of motosport.

    But that's about it.

    I really wish i didn't buy it. If you're considering a GT game - get a GT Sport - it shares many flaws, but at least it's at a reasonable price.

    GT7 is as pushy with microtransactions as your average free mobile game while being an 80$ expense.

    Game constantly drops frames at certain spots on the same circuits. No 120fps, too short, Gt Sport had better single player mode. Rehashed GTS content, micro transactions. Payed 100$ for the anniversary edition. Long time GT fan (since GT1) This is unacceptable

    Gran Turismo 7 was a great game. WAS. After the fatidic day where the patch 1.07/1.08 had launch, GT7 becomes unplayable. The microtransactions cancer become a metastasis on GT7. All of it plus the constantly internet connection required to play, just make the game a complete trash. I regret I had bought at launch at full price.

    Always online, aggressive and deceptive MTX implementing and changes. It's a shame. Avoid until they've fixed it.

    Does EA acquire Polyphony Digital? Because what we see now after day 1 update, is that they are doing the EA Micro Transaction mode. So I hope you change it soon, because this is not fair, is not the way that it should be.

    It's impossible to by some cars without spending real money!!! You will spend hours trying to earn money in the game and you will remain poor! I never imagined that PlayStation would do something like this, we expect that from EA, but not from Sony, I'm very disappointed

    There's absolutely nothing ground breaking about this game. It's slightly better than GTS, slightly. Now all I have to keep me entertained is multiplayer and every time I join a room to race waiting for the race to end so I can join, the lobby owner leaves and the room closes, like wtf! It's becoming annoying.    Considering this was the 25th anniversary edition we all expected great things.
    There's absolutely nothing ground breaking about this game. It's slightly better than GTS, slightly. Now all I have to keep me entertained is multiplayer and every time I join a room to race waiting for the race to end so I can join, the lobby owner leaves and the room closes, like wtf! It's becoming annoying.
    The fact is, this is an unfinished game, it's missing ease of use features and ui that *should* be there.
    This was a rushed title and it's glaringly obvious.

    The V1.07 update significantly slashed the credit rewards for the most worthwhile races to grind. I'm not willing to spend extra money on a full price title I've been waiting for over 2 years to be released. I'm a lot less likely to spend any more time on this game until Polyphony Digital straightens out their botched release.    … Expand

    Great graphics and detail and it ends there. Short single campaign, on line connection required, can't sell cars, and terrible cr rewards. I've gotten all the GT games at launch and this will be the last one I'll ever buy/play. Thanks Polyphony and Sony for ruining my favorite game.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
