    My first proper GT. Graphics are excellent, and gameplay is great. Clearly a lot of love has gone into the game. Yet **** business practices override the above, and end up making this a farce. Reducing the payout per race is a joke, but no compensation following the outage, and making this online only is the final straw. I’ve finished the menus which were fun, but if Sony think I’m gonnaMy first proper GT. Graphics are excellent, and gameplay is great. Clearly a lot of love has gone into the game.     Game looks incredible but the gameplay aspect is terrible. Its a shameless cash grab that would take years to complete without paying for credits and thats not what GT is about. Also, the game is largely unplayable at the current time for maintenance that was meant to take 2 hours tops. spoiler alert, its taken over 24 hours now. The fact that its an online game makes it completelyGame looks incredible but the gameplay aspect is terrible.     Honestly I wish I could get a refund. The new update completely ruined the game. It’s super hard to get credits, unavailable for 24+ hours at a time, and generally unplayable cuz you won’t gain any credits to buy cars smh so sad this game really lost its appeal it’s a trap buyer beware

    Added microtransactions after the reviews. Made the credit rewards for races worse in a recent patch. It takes dozens of hours of grinding races to buy any cars. $70 game that is designed to make you want to spend even more money to play it. Sony won't refund the game once you download it and now it is too late for me. Don't buy this game.

I wouldn't pay $5 and now they want $20 per car?! They also decreased in game winnings by about 50% very shortly after launch, so it's going to take forever to progress in the game.     This is a great looking game. It has the potential to be a great racing title with future DLC, BUT the developers have decided to total destroy this game with abysmal race payouts! and forcing players to use greed driven microtransactions! This will be the demise of this title. I really had high expectations and really looked forward to the release of GT7, but we have all been let down.

    The game was really good at release. After the latest patch, Polyphony Digital have shown they don't care about the gamers and are all about microtransactions.
    Do not buy this game, do not buy in game credits and do not buy future dlc for the game. I certainly won't be, unless they reverse their policy.

    The game feels identical to GT Sport from a driving perspective, which IMO is good. I don't notice a graphical difference as we're getting to the point where it can only look so real. The UI is incredibly clunky, often requiring several button presses when one would be sufficient. It's designed for a mouse and keyboard not a controller. They increased the costs of many in game cars, as they want you to buy credits with real money. All of these changes were made AFTER the "critic" reviews.     Love the series but this one is currently hot garbage. I got the game shortly after launch and found several of the license tests had bugs making gold impossible. That got fixed when they made the game unplayable for a day and a half. The next day I found out all the custom tunes I spent hours perfecting. Online saves also make impossible for restarting from scratch with Cr 1,000,000 from the anniversary version - lame. Micro transactions are micro scams. Avoid them! In retrospect, GTS is a better game as a whole - it only lacks the updated physics, weather and so. Maybe it is not PD's intention to milk users by making progress ridiculously slow, but every one knows how the saying goes. No Bopped races so far, too boot. Lame, lame, lame.… Expand

Et malgré la lettre d excuses suite au 1er patch expliquant tout ça, elle est quand même teintée de malhonnêteté au vu des prix des micro transactions.

    25 years later and the A.I is still dumb as YOU KNOW WHAT. I strictly enjoy this game as a single player carrer game I hardly touch online yet this game requires a active connection. Such a shame. Still better the. Sports. :-)

Unfortunately, all of that is ruined by the micro-transactions and the currency system implemented. I’m not exaggerating when I say it is awful. There are no races that net you 100k and if they come close to that amount, it’s a 20-30 min race. But most races don’t get earn you more thanWe’ll start by saying this game has wonderful graphics, great physics, and awesome realism overall. Unfortunately, all of that is ruined by the micro-transactions and the currency system implemented. I’m not exaggerating when I say it is awful. There are no races that net you 100k and if they come close to that amount, it’s a 20-30 min race. But most races don’t get earn you more than 30-50k. Now, that being said, some cars (all the good ones) cost over a million. The most expensive I’ve seen so far in the Legends shop being 18.5 million in game credits for the mclaren f1 and there are many others over the 10 million credit mark. Now, are we expected to grind away at the same races over and over again for *literally* 60-100 hours for one car? I guess so. BUT, polyphony and Sony have a way around that: Micro-transactions! That’s right, that $70 you paid wasn’t enough to get even close to driving most of the cars in game, pal. Now let’s do some basic math. If GT7 charges $20.00 USD of your hard earned American dollars for 2 million in-game credits, you’d pay $185 USD to buy that one car. How wonderful is that? I might as well start saving up for a real life mclaren F1 at this point instead of being able to get all the cars in-game. Oh, and let’s not forget the upgrades for the cars that should normally cost you 100-200k in game credits to get up to speed and competitive. Then, there’s the car invitations. I love these things. Let’s say you were rich out of your mind and spent all of your hard earned (or mommy and daddy’s hard earned) cash, and you had the in game credits to buy that 3.6 million dollar Ferrari. Well guess what? Too bad. You have to be “invited” in the game to buy it. Because money wasn’t enough, you to have to grind it out until the game decides you can buy it. Oh and let’s say you get an invitation to buy that 4 million dollar car and you don’t have the money (you never will, you’re almost always floating around with 200-400k at most), we’ll again, too bad. You have 2 weeks to buy that car or the invitation is gone and you won’t have the opportunity to buy it again. Yep. I hate this game. Luckily, I have a gaming PC and will be buying forza Motorsport 8 when that comes out or stick to forza horizon 5 for now, unless polyphony decides to FIX THE FREAKING GAME. greedy people, unreal.… Expand

    The micro-transaction is awful. you pay almost 100 bucks for the game to grind. However the intentionally nerf the grinding part. so.....

    My god, this 1.08 update makes this even more an f-in grind. Payouts are cut, can’t sell cars, insane amounts for rare cars. I play this to acquire cars I can’t afford in real life not to grind for a week to get a car. I got a job and real life responsibilities. So sorry that I bought this digital. Would not buy in the current state.

That was a fun grind. All that spark is now gone. All that craziness that gave the game so much character has been stripped in favour of 'professionalism' and 'sophistication'.

    You need to work hard and a lot to be able to buy this game and then you need to keep working harder in real life so you can afford new cars or any other stuff in the game.

It looked so promising with a decent (but not as good as previous gt's) car and track list and amazing graphics especially on ps5 with Ray tracing and that's the only reason I'm giving it a 2 out of 10.     I am normally a huge fan of PlayStation first party titles like Gran Turismo. I bought this thinking it would work but I have a spotty internet connection and this game keeps telling me I’m in offline mode and doesn’t let me continue with my progress. Absolute headache. I regret buying this game. If you are considering it… don’t. The always on features ruins it.

    Ruined by "micro-transactions" however micro really isn't the correct word considering I already spent a ridiculous $150 on the game and now to buy the current 5 legend cars it would cost $550 AUD. At this point, Polyphony is just taking a dump on its customers.

    When they said real driving simulator I didn't want it to be so realistic that I can't afford the cars...

    First of all they took the game from Russian players after release. Added microtransactions, increased the cost of in-game purchases and require a permanent internet connection. This game would be 9/10 if not all of the above for 90 $.

It takes a bit over 1 hour grinding to buy a semi-decent car and to get the really expensive cars takes 10-30 hours of replaying the most efficient race over and over again which is absolutely ridiculous.     the worst game from sony, shame on playstation, after horizon 5 on xbox I was waiting for a response from sony with a cool race, but got the old grand tourism sport with phone-level graphics. So it's destined that Sony hasn't had normal races for 10 years already, thanks to the dirt 5 hoyabs, sold the PS5 after this race and stayed on the xbox. Sony gets into politics, but you have to make games!

    The game feels personally made by its creator but comes off as arrogant and biased. Japanese cars and manufacturers are given an inflated and unrealistic standing in car history. Nissan GTR is not in the same league as Porsche or Ferrari, as this game would have you believe.

    There is noticeable lack of classic manufacturers or cars that are historically relevant that have appeared in past games like TVR, Lotus, Lancia Stratos, Morgan, and more.

    The background music is also in poor taste and inconsistent which makes the game frustrating given the quality of soundtracks in the past.

    Also, i am not an online gamer, I'm a car enthusiast foremost. For this game to be internet reliant is absolutely unacceptable.    … Expand

    Don't play online(no desire to), yet constantly getting d/c and have to grind cr for a $70 game. Offline users shouldn't have to care or deal with anti cheat and cumbersome realism, what next? Going to add gas and real price to reflect on that too? I'm done with greed, back to Assetto Corsa. Good bye my beloved childhood game.

Nach dem 39 Menü ist die lächerliche Kampagne vorbei ! Ich dachte zuerst dass sei nur der Prolog für die richtige karriere aber falsch geglaubt.     Real driving simulator? Really? 2 steps down from all what make GTS perfect. There are too many bad things, like nonsense power increasing and totally confused setting, but ok. It is only game. But with micro transactions they absolute kill the game. Dont buy it and i say like fan, who starts from gt1

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer.
