    For a full price title of 70€ they nerve the ingame money income after release about the half to force players to pay again for microtransactions! And they dont let us sell cars any more to make some money. Its greedy, disgusting and a betray to the customer! Its criminal!     I’ve been looking forward to this game for years. YEARS. And I bought my PS5 for GT7 but after playing it I can agree with all of the other reviews in that the way this game has been built is impossible to win at and is no longer fun to play. When the server went down and I could no longer play the game? That’s not ok for a game of this price.

    Great graphics and game play but like everyone else credits way too tedious to obtain. And what's with all the old models of cars??? Thought Audi had released a few more models since the old TT. Where's the rs6, rs7 and that's the case with most manufacturers eg McLaren Volkswagen Porsche. Cmon guys!

    Microtransaction in this game is scummy and it’s loosing players so fast I can imagine once there’s no one playing they’ll just shut down the server and you wouldn’t even be able to play a game that you pay full $60 for.

    I love this game but the crappy raffle system isn't at all fair as you'll 95 percent of the time get the smallest prize, and the recent update makes it even more of a grind fest. Further to that, you can't even play the game unless you're online on their servers... Please sort this out!

    You are basically forced to buy cars with real money. $70 ( game ) + $40 ( car 1 ) + $40 ( car 2) + $20 ( car 3)...etc. you could end up spending $500 after paying $70 for a a game. Also, THIS IS AN ONLINE ONLY GAME. You can't play without being online. Developer and Sony screw the gamers over by reducing the payout and increase the car cost. STAY AWAY FROM GT7 until they have fixed this.

    I had a plan in how I would finish the game one by one, first play trough the GT cafe than all Gold in the license test than all Gold in the missions than than finish 1st in all Event Races than all Gold in the Circuit Experiences and last a platinum trophy.
    After I finished all the steps except the Trophies, I checked what I need for the platinum Trophy and I realized that with update    I had a plan in how I would finish the game one by one, first play trough the GT cafe than all Gold in the license test than all Gold in the missions than than finish 1st in all Event Races than all Gold in the Circuit Experiences and last a platinum trophy.
    After I finished all the steps except the Trophies, I checked what I need for the platinum Trophy and I realized that with update 1.08 that made it harder to obtain platinum because I need to buy specific cars which are now harder to get and because they are so expensive.
    I lost my joy to play anymore, thanks PD for your greed for the monetization.
    I was joking to my wife that I spend so much more time with GT in total than with her in my life but it looks like every dream has come to an end.    … Expand

    First racing game I've bought since GT2. I'm an adult now and don't have much time to play but wanted to give this ago as I played it with my siblings and father. While I enjoy the gameplay, I don't understand why every car isn't unlocked by default in some "free-play" & co-op mode.     They have roulette tickets that are earned by driving 40 odd kms each day but the spins are rigged. Generally 4 out of 5 spins you will collect the least valued prize on the wheel.
    If you have poor internet connection you can forget about playing this game even as a solo player because they make most of the game inaccessible.
    Did I mention the maintenance downtime? One time it was down - making it nearly unplayable for 32 hours.

With prizes halved. This is a joke. In professional motorsport you need to buy all kinds of racing tires. Make us buy every single set to use ...     Cafe mode isn't what we asked for, why can't they just realise an updated version of the first game. The roulette feels decided for you, cannot sell your cars. The update that stopped being able to play for a day and a half. I just expected so much better!

    GT7 would've made a good base to be updated and has great graphics, it is easy to play in a semi relaxing manner and often simply customising and modifying new cars is the joy.     I was big fan of this series since the first GT game. I could enjoy this game till GT6.

    In patch 1.08 PD made it harder to make in-game money by reducing race rewards in hope to force people to pay real money for buying expensive cars

    That's ridiculous.

    Honestly, for a long time GT fan, since GT 2, I am very very very disappointed with this game. Making it micro transactions central is a no no, payouts suck, the whole online system sucks. This is by far the worst game and I did not buy it and will not buy it. I went ahead and bought forza and F1. Will be looking into Grid too.

    I just drove a 20 minutes race, but because my internet is crack the game lost connection after the race and nothing has saved. In combination with the low credits you get for the races the whole game sucks and doesn't make fun. Thank you for nothing Polyphony digital/Sony!

The used cars store is a joke cause it only updates 2 to 3 cars and it takes 2 days to do so. This version of GT is just a spot on the GT history… Expand

    DO NOT BUY, cash grab made so clear with the last update. Sony had a bs statment after the 30hr blackout update, which halfed payouts making grinding for currency painful.
    I hope to god people just stop playing and not be fools paying over 180$ worth of micro transactions for a single car. Godspeed gamers

Got to the point in the game that i have to spend $120K+ to upgrade my ride to be competitive, only to win 15% of those credits back.     Single player unplayable for 30 hrs. Cars are priced like they are IRL, forcing insane levels of grinding. Nerfing payouts. Shameful.

    This game was one of the reasons I wanted a Ps5. Now that I have it, I wish i had never purchased either.

    Between the game being down, the microtransactions, and not being able to progress past a certain point, this game makes me wish i could return it.

    Expensive cars, when you spin the gift card you already know which price you will get (the lowest one), hard to complete gold level races so the fun is also gone. Graphics are good and that's why I still give it a 2. If someone is interested in this game you can buy mine cause I don't like it

    it was a great game for the first few days, you will get around 60 cars during the campaign and some credits to spend later on other cars. You would expect that after the campaign the game normally starts to shine, where you can drive any circuit and any car you want.

    But not in this game, after completing the campaign you hardly earn any credits to buy cars and the in game prices of    it was a great game for the first few days, you will get around 60 cars during the campaign and some credits to spend later on other cars.     But not in this game, after completing the campaign you hardly earn any credits to buy cars and the in game prices of cars are so high that there is no other choice then to buy the extreme expensive micro transactions.

    Absolutely onacceptable and completely destroys the image of sony and their flagship game gran turismo.

    Some actual examples:
    - after 24 hours of racing i earned 3.5 million credits through the campaign. 2.5 million of those credits were needed to buy cars and tuning updates (which are also really expensive) to complete the campaign.
    - after the campaign credits were lowered to around 30.000 credits per race or if you want to play the arcade mode on professional level to create your own challenges the credits earned are lowered to around 5000 credits per race !!!
    - then the new cars came for sale, there are two cars now in the dealer for a 6 days period that will cost you 12 and 18 million credits (a total of 30 million credits), that's impossible to get with the ordinary gameplay, you can't earn that amount of credits in 6 days as a casual gamer.
    - So if you want those TWO!!! cars, you have to buy credits online. This will cost you 300 Euros for 30 million credits !!! So to have those two time limited cars sony expects you to fork out 300 euros for two cars.

    That's a psychological game (the time limit) where sony should be ashamed off. If this is the road sony is going to take for there GAAS platform then it's over for the sony playstation brand. People can't afford that extensive kind of microtransactions greed. I think that people at microsoft will be very happy with these direction sony has taken now.

    conclusion,
    the game is a great game in base, but the fact that the game is locked behind a never seen before high paywall after completing the game makes is a useless game. If you want cars after completing the campaign expect to pay thousends of dollars on micro transactions, the current pricing of 300 euro's for just two cars shows how greedy they become.

    The gran turismo history of 25 years is destroyed with this release and i'm really sad about that.    … Expand

Reviewers got to play the correct version of this game, but with these forced updates that version has been surrendered tomicrotransactions or a full priced game, choose one, not both.     You can only drive old cars (there are newer Cars in NFS Payback lol)

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
