    This game was a flagship for Playstation platform but now ?

    This is just Gran Turismo Sport V2.0 and we paid for it again but that is not enough for PP because they want more money more and more money and because of it; They are lowering game credits, cheating on daily tickets, (4 stars tickets has 5000 credits and i won:) cant sell cars and evet you can not buy some of the cars    This game was a flagship for Playstation platform but now ?

    Great game ruined by greedy devs. Another reason all games should be released on pc. Not only are the graphics held back by the ps5, you're forced to deal with the absolutely ridiculous economy set up by the devs. Oh and by the way make sure you're connected to the internet at all times otherwise you can't play our single player game.     It the most expensive cars in the series history just so the game can steer you into buying credits with real life money. Which it reminds you constantly every time you check your balance. Also, despite previous games allowing you to sell cars and the description of GT7 mentioning you can in the PSN store it is in fact a lie and you can not sell any cars.
    It also uses a FOMO so if you don't have a few million credits just sitting in your balance then you will be forced to buy credits as the reward system doesn't allow you to work for the quantities required to get these cars in the time alloted.

    The always online connection required for essentially a single player game is ridiculous. Especially with it's unplanned outages making the single player aspects of the game completely unplayable.

    Polyphony Digital have a lot to answer for for this game and need to patch it to make the game playable off-line as well as fix the rewards and stop the the blatant push towards microtransactions.
    Making microtransactions available only after the games release once all the positive reviews were already out is a dirty tactic and not one I'd expect from this series or even a first party exclusive Sony game.    … Expand

    They try to force users to buy cars by a very greedy MTX system. To protect that they make the game Always Online which resulted in 30 hours of downtime already.

    The game just force you to grind to buy any cars in the car dealers. The new patch just make this even worse by reduce the race winning prize money.

    Game is awesome, and there is a lot of things to do.
    One point I agree, single player requires constant internet conection, but, a lot of other games requires too.....

    Worse game ever. You have to pay to progress after update 1.07. Before, certain races could give you 70,000 cr ...now the same race gives you 5,000 cr. Nothing Can bring it back to where it was before.

    An utterly broken in-game economy dominated by a greedy micro-transaction model, less content than previous games despite it offering no tangible evolution in gaming experiences, and a terrible server that even stops single player gaming when it crashes.     I easily put in over $150 dollars in this game and also bought a racing wheel rig just for it, and I can’t even play it right now? Its been more than 24 hours that I can’t play a game that I paid A LOT of real money for, that’s something I've never heard or seen before in gaming, and now they want to push MTX down my throat?     The recent changes are hard to believe ... I got the GT7 Steelbook from a girl because she knew I was a huge fan since GT1 on PS1 ... now I find it hard to say that the developers are changing the rules of the game and making efforts to make players either spend their money or grind days and nights to buy a car ... no fun. In addition, a very short campaig.

    I miss the old gran turismo. Cars from all over the world, not the same cars in different version. Only 400? It is a mess.
    The update they did, is also a mess. Return the credits PD as it was. And give us some credits as gift for the almost 30 hour trouble.
    Give engine swaps, give 6 speed transmissions to all the cars, give some more cameras to replay, give the photos we take to our pc, at 4K HDR resolution. Respect the gamers of your titles PD. And please Mr Kazunori Yamauchi, you were a race driver, give more realism to your game.    … Expand

I just paid $100 for a watered-down broken version of Gran Turismo Sport that doesn't even utilize high performance gr1,2,3cars, nor was any thought put into developing a campaign beyond the simple and easily exhausted Cafe menus. It's obvious that the players experience wasn't even an afterthought to polyphony digital and the only thingCannot express how disappointed I am in this game.     Things were bad enough on the 'grinding' front but then v1.07... no idea why they are pushing this micro transaction route, it's a too tier tittle for the PlayStation and it's becoming unplayable for the average player. Also the requirement to be online to do single player career is extremely frustrating to say the least. Been a live long GT fan but now feeling really disappointed.

    I made a terrible mistake buying this game... Sure, the graphics are good and the physics it's nice, but the always online requirement to play single player and the introduced micro transactions totally kill the fun...
    I bought every gran turismo game so far, and this is the last game I'll buy from the series and from polyphonic...

    Don't waste your money on this.

The Devs at PD have previously Brought great memories from the GT franchise however after every release they somehow manage to remove everything that players enjoyed and after this new title it has hit a point of absurdity.     The story campaign of becoming a professional driver feels like a half finished game. It's is currently lacking many enjoyable races to make in-game credits and no playing ground for their remarkable gt vision designs game credits and many different variations of races other than generic cars. The return of the tuning shop is a nice feature and allows players to enjoy customisation however it's is ridiculed by the fact that many options for buying cars and tuning cars which have such extreme costs via these in game credits that it outweighs the feature entirely

    It feels as though the game has been released on a beta stage and with a 2 day outage with no reports from the developers and the explanation eventually being released which was something nobody had experienced also a update removing even more potential earnings from playing the lackluster of races. No compensation was given for this matter either. You can purchase a multitude of in game credits with real currency however defeating the purpose of playing a game again.    … Expand

    For a racing game, the cars look and sound great and the circuits look stunning in 4k. However, everything else about this game is just dreadful. It's got a half-assed story mode with only 38 missions. They ruined the economy in this game by nerfing the already abysmal credit payouts in order to force players to buy credits with real-world money. A disappointing entry in the GT series.

    There’s isn’t even a game here yet to revisit. Bought an anniversary addition, such a waste of money. Okay thought the main single player arc was just the intro, and after buying a full priced game, it’s okay to win. Will revisit in a few months and see if they’ve added updates to actually make this a game. What a disappointment.

    With the microtransaction philosophy at launch day, the game should have been "free 2 play", but the current credit change is a blow to the face for every "normal" player who is not able to grind 10 hours a day for a week straigt to be able to buy a couple of fast cars and maybe an all time favorite car.

    As a normal player, you are being made fun of here. It seems, the only goal is to make as much extra money via microtransactions as possible.

    I'm sticking with pc when it comes to driving Sims. That or maybe get and xbox finally. I've been wanting to play forza horizon and would like to try it and gamepass as well. This game has pushed me over the edge. It's time to upgrade to xbox and pc.    … Expand

    I've been a huge fan of the GT series since its inception back in 1997. I can't believe how far the franchise has fallen. GT7 is basically a carbon copy of GT Sport, but now they pretty much force you to spend real money for cars. I remember when a 24 hour endurance race in GT4 used to reward with near 1M credits. Now,    I created a metacritic account just so I can review this game.

    There are high points to the game, but the microtransaction system added to a full-price game that is seemingly EVERYWHERE means I don't want my kids even touching it. There is a high level of grind with low payouts on races, and when you go to buy anything in-game it offers spending real money to get game coins instead.     This game is unplayable offline. If servers are down for “maintenance” you effectively can do nothing. It’s also micro transaction laced. You cannot drive the cars you like without paying outside fees. At first you could “grind” but they lowered payout so you can’t realistically earn the cars you bought the game for. I regret this purchase entirely. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

    Graphics are great and gameplay is good, however, this game requires an always online connection, even for single player mode. In addition, the developer is pushing micro transactions and making it difficult with every update to be able to earn in game credits. The developer is trying to make this a pay to play game on top of the already high $70 price tag.

    Take your money elsewhere. Been a fan since gt 4, but PD went full EA and not only did they inflate the prices of all cars from the latest game (that includes payed dlc cars) they also just dropped an update lowering credit earning coefficient. You got me this time, pd, but I’m done with the series.

    The update just like a joke. We paid for the game, and wait for your update over a day, you just cut half of the award in the game for the update? So you just want us to know that if you can’t afford to buy a real car, you can’t afford the car in the game either? So realistic! The game just want us to pay the real money more and more, right?     This Game felt like a 7.5 to 8/10 for me during the first two weeks. Had great fun until the latest updates. Besides its always online requirement the from now on reduced winning prizes and the incredibly arrogant behavior/reaction of the developer studio kinda killed the vibe for me. Too bad I bought the digital version… Would have returned it immediately.

    The pre release version was good, the first update nerfed the payouts and added microtransactions. The game is headed for pay to play and not a worthy successor to the other GT games

    The latest update nerfed credit rewards to a point where progression is now terrible, forcing to buy MTX. This coupled with always online and bugs on split screen mode make the game hard to recommend

    Few days ago I was really happy with this game. Cool driving mechanics, nice graphics, you can earn some money without any problem when you will grind some races. That was few days ago.
    Today is the second day when my offline game is not working, because server died. And to kill the mood even more, they nerfed the race credits that you earn.

    Devs, downgrade the Game again! Bring back our Rewards instead of focusing on selling credits for real money.

    Otherwise this will end up in a lot of returns and you can become a second cyberpunk 2077.

    You was developing this game for the players and not for the shareholders, or am i wrong?

By saying this I’m not expecting to play the game for a week and have all of the best cars from what pervious comments have mentioned, but you cannot ignore the lack of credits, cost of cars, and time required. Also, something everyone is forgetting to mention is that only 20 million free credits can be saved if you want more than 20 million the credits will have to be purchased and if cars in the hagerty legendary car dealership are more than 20million that will require real money.… Expand

    Infelizmente estou decepcionado com o jogo, você paga 300 reais e o jogo te obriga a ficar conectado sempre com internet, e quando o servidor tá fora você não consegue jogar, me sinto lesado.
    Infelizmente eles se renderam as práticas abusivas da indústria gamer.
    O mínimo era dar pra jogar office.

    Lack of cars, pushing players towards mtx and 24 hour maintenance simply not good enough for a £69.99 title. I was really looking forward to jumping straight into races but I can't help but feel somewhat conned and the fact you basically can't play the game in an offline mode in this day and age is unacceptable.

    I bought this game with a DVD disc, my game save cannot be reached when the server is down for over 24 hours.
    After the 1.08 update, the rewards have been cut sharply.

    Felt like half a game without endurance, gr1 races etc. I was disappointed but still had fun, now they nerf the payouts from races to force people to their micro transactions… buy on sale / wait for the game to be complete.

    This is made worse by the poor payouts from races, which make the game more grindy than it needs to be. Rather than making you feel like you are working to earn more expensive cars and parts, it instead feels like it is pushing you hard to spend real money on microtransactions.

    Coupled with just a few tracks, this game sorely lacks replayability for a game that costs €80    … Expand

I keep getting disconnected from online daily races just before it starts or just after it finishes. It ruined my SR rating as a result and I was dropped from S to C and I have to race against idiots again. Also it is veryI payed £70 for a worst version of GT Sport. This led to 32 hours outbreak when we couldn't even play the game on single player campaign, from a PD server's error as they said.     But how bad are these business practices really? First off, the credit pay out in the game is often rather low and the cars are extremely expensive - up to 12 million credits. Grinding for that amount of credits in game will take many hours of the same boring events on repeat. The recent patch (1.07) only made grinding money in the game harder by lowering pay outs even more. Sony wants you to spend real money on credits. But even here the prices are absurd. A 12 million credit car translates to roughly 120 Dollars - and that's for a SINGLE car. To make matters worse, the game has many FOMO systems that try to push you to spend money quickly. Several of the cars in the game can only be obtained for a limited time, either because the shop's stock rotates or because you got an "invitation" to buy a car that has an expiry date. So you often have only a day to buy that 5 million credits car you want, leaving you with three equally unattractive options:
    1) Spend the entire rest of the day slaving away and trying to grind the money for 9 hours straight only to perhaps not make it in time after all
    2) spend 50 real Dollars to buy the car instantly
    3) wait weeks or months until the car goes on sale again

    This is by far the most predatory microtransaction system I've ever seen in a non-mobile game and Sony should be ashamed.    … Expand

    An exceptionally good game ruined by microtransactions. The AI very weird and basically all of the races are with rolling starts with cars kms apart. But the physics model is amazing.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
