    Sold this game as soon as they added MTs in an update and made the game always online. I wouldn't stand fir Dony becoming tbe new EA and Sony needs to get this through their thick skulls that gamers aren't fine with this bs.

    25 years of loyalty towards Polyphony and Sony… and they reward us with a punch on the nose with micro transaction’s and not allowing us to play past bedtime. I’m as angry with them as I was with my parents who stopped me playing 25 years ago.

    If you are a casual player like me, you are fuc**d. Microtransactions are present and some cars are impossible to buy without real money or insane grind... You cannot play the game without an internet connection...

    Campaign was realy short, and the game has online drm for a singleplayer game that is unacceptable. Already the game is unplayable because of the drm and people should get refund. this gran turismo is maybe the worst of them all.

    Never expect too much. Generally, it is a good game. However, the graphics of the surroundings is like ps3 graphics, particularly when you are comparing with horizon.     30hrs of maintenance with game blocked and Lower rewards from some events. This is such an obligation to purchase game credit with real money. In the old gt was able to play offline, and I think it's a good thing make the same with this one.

    The server was down for over 30 hours and the game couldn't be played at all. Duplicate vehicles in the game are not yet available for sale. It all makes me very frustrated, I don't have the ability to let Mr. Kazuno Yamauchi hear my complaints, I only have the right to give this game a bad rating - from a GT series fan for more than 20 years.

    PD destroyed the game. Microtransactions and lowering the race rewards killed all the fun and turned the game into a grindfest. Don't buy it. If you did- request a refund.

    While technically sublime in terms of graphics; driving physics; and sound design, it is all for nothing as it's let down completely by a pathetic in game economy full of time limited offers to convince you to part with more real money to afford rare cars as playing the game normally will not net you nearly enough currency to afford anything desirable in a sane amount of time. Even if you purely grind, it'll take you upwards of 10 hours (just doing the same event over and over) to afford but one of these cars. Also in the most recent update changes were made to make grinding take even longer, a disgustingly cynical move showcasing the greed currently infecting the gaming industry.

    The event list and career mode are barren to say the least, a fraction of the races that were available even in the particularly underwhelming GT Sport 'career mode', with numerous tracks not selected for a single race, and whole categories of cars (GR.2; GR.1; classic racers; Vision GT cars) not given any races, almost as if the developers forgot they existed despite a Vision GT car being on the box art!

    Engine swaps are in the game... although the caveat being they are only attainable through a lottery ticket system. This system has 6 tiers of ticket, with 1 of 5 prizes available in each ticket. You get one ticket a day.... that's it. You cannot pick your prize, and engine swaps are only available in the top 3 tiers of tickets. This means you only have a 50% chance of even SEEING an engine swap in the draw, and if you do it's only a 20% chance of aquiring one. I cannot fathom how anyone thought this was a good way to give you content.

    GT7 has cemented itself as the worst GT title to date, and potentially has ruined the franchise and reputation of the developers in the process.    … Expand

    This is a great racing sim. I don’t understand all the review bomb it’s been getting due to microtransactions but many new games have been getting that we just have to get used to it and plus you don’t have to use microtransactions if you don’t want to.     1. it's not a new game, it was supposed to be "nextgen Gran Turismo" while it's made on the GT sport engine. At best it looks a little bit refreshed. Like you'd bought a new GPU to your PC and finally can run the game on max.
    2. choppy animation: 30 fps replay doesn't cut it. That would not be a problem, but the game on multiple tracks has stuttered in certain areas.    0 out of 10 because:

    - RNG reward cards apart from the smallest amount (negligible) of in-game money, give almost nothing else. I've almost finished story mode (40 lvl cafe) and throughout the game, all I got was 2 crap cars, and 1 invitation to buy a 3m car.
    - car dealership invitations that have a time stamp - buy now, or lose it. As the cars are ridiculously expensive, it's for the sole reason to create FOMO - use the credit card m8.
    - after race car card draw - totally gives the weakest/most common one

    They are open about their politics - nerfing the prize money in patch 1.08 was going full retard. Probably people weren't buying enough credits from PS store. Now they'll wait and check what happens. If the cash stream improves, that will stay, if not, they change something.

    Final word: Blunt, cheaply made, an unfinished cash grab.
    This should be released as a paid expansion to GT sport.
    Buy used or wait for an 80% discount.

    PS. Sony, if you think you can get away with this politics, you're wrong. MS will eat you alive if you continue this path.    … Expand

    Tis game turned too bad into a pay to win. It's now almost impossible impossible to earn money (i'm lvl 33 and i finished the career) and buy news cars. The update made it impossible to play even in single player because the servers were down. I don't recommend buying this game until any major update whe could improve the money earnings

    I have played and owned every single gran turismo since the very first one. I have 100 percented several of them. Spent many many hours experiencing the tracks races differant cars. Modes and music. I grew up with these games. Me and my step father played them together while I was a child.

    When GT Sport is a better single player game than Gran Turismo 7, you know something is seriously wrong.

    The game is linear and short, barely has anything of the GT flair.
    The credits income is nerfed, car sales are disabled, designed to encourage micro transactions, or excessive grinding.

    After waiting 8 years for this game I feel utterly betrayed by Polyphony.

I don't have time nor the patience as I did when I was 13 to play this game and grind to get even a semi-decent car.I was so excited for this game to come out. My childhood rediscovered. I honestly would get a refund if I could.

    1) Can't sell cars anymore

    2) Some parts cannot be removed, therefore if you want a build without a part, you better buy another car

    3) Trophy for buying the same car 10 times

    4) Tuning in Sport Mode. Costs build up very quickly.

    5) No B spec to earn passive credits

    6) Rolling starts massively dispersed therefore more likely to build a high PP car to compete

    7) Car prices have dramatically risen, even since GT Sport

    8) Roulette prizes are clearly more weighted towards the lower end

    9) And finally: the moment a decent payout race was discovered, work began to patch it

    Game is Good, driving feels amazing, but... There is always but. I regret buying it for a full price. Game is grindy and with latest patch gets even more grindy. Race rewards cuts Goes to 40%, cars are expensive compared to gt sport. I dont recomend buying it, at least for now, because what is waiting for you there is dissapointment l.

    The graphics are good, gameplay is good with realistic physics and very good IA, sound is amazing and is without a doubt the best GT in terms of engine sounds... The problem is that this game requires 24/7 connection and microtransactions ruin this game. If you dont have internet conection or sony servers dont work you got a brick.

What is the point in selling a game that I have PAID FOR and preventing me from even playing it! Don't buy this **** show and stand against these microtransaction money grabs.     After finishing MENU You get like 80 different cars from the game, there is lots of cars You get for free just for progress. Both compact cars / rally /track cars and supercars. You don't have to pay a penny to get all of this.     Game is great fun and all but at the moment it doesn't really matter because the only online to play, the slow and grinding credit system and microtransactions make it horrible. The economics in this game is a mess. It costs you 37k for a set of racing tyres and the prize money for winning the race is 30k

It’s clear the goal is to make you buy credits from the PS store….. if you don’t want to spend over 30 hours earning credits 1x 20million credit car could cost around $300AUD of real money No thanks!… Expand

    I consider GT4 to be the pinnacle of the series. Content in every game since should have at least the same content on release as GT4. I am not talking about the car count. The events available to race should be comparable. Low payout races that drive players toward an extremely overpriced MTX system that should not be in the game at all. SMH...GT is dead.

And even if you are willing to spend real money on your full prize game the prizes for that are ridiculous. 20 € for 2 Mio Credits and some of the most expensive cars are about 10 mio credits…. And unfortunately, instead of fixing some of the issues everyoneCould have been so good but the game is pretty much useless without internet connection and the prize money system is totally broken. And even if you are willing to spend real money on your full prize game the prizes for that are ridiculous. 20 € for 2 Mio Credits and some of the most expensive cars are about 10 mio credits….     Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
