    Hay tantas cosas malas en este juego que solo voy a escribir lo siguiente, las torretas del need for speed high stakes de play station 1 si se ven reflejadas de noche en las paredes y carretera, aquí 25 años después es más importante pagar cantidades ridículas de dinero y las torretas son fantasmas que incluyen un agujero negro que hace que la luz no salga de los focos

    For the lovers Gran Turismo saga like me, you cannot allow that this ps5 game seems to be from two generations ago, the sensation of speed is null, it is like competing against grandmothers going shopping, the collisions are embarrassing , you don't notice any care in the game modes, the menus... nothing, online connection forced, it's a disaster...

    Upd. Patch 1.07 makes you grind even more, because it halfs the reward for winning race.

    The game had everything to be perfect but then, you want do drive a car and it costs money. Real money. The grind that the game forces you through to get a single car is ridiculous. I HATED IT.

    This is exactly why i didnt buy this trash, online only for a ps5 game for 70 dollars that is used as a single player game. 24 hours offline during the launch month. This is why i play xbox series x forza horizon 5 i can have my router unplugged and play nearly the whole experience for 60 dollars.     A major downgrade from the last game. Terrible corporate greed and tone deaf gameplay loops. Cars can cost upwards of a $100 or hundreds of hours of gameplay. No excuse for it. Beyond that the "Cafe mode" is hilariously bad with the supposed "main career" feeling like an extended tutorial.

    Las carreras no dan sensación de velocidad, parece que vayas pisando huevos, esto de simulador de conducción tiene bien poco, el sistema de conducción se nota que es mejorable. El sistema de colisión es un desastre y el sonido deja mucho que desear para un juego de 2022.
    No hay voces de personas en el juego, así como tampoco modelados de personajes fuera de las propias carreras.
    Gráficamente no es nada de otro mundo, apenas supera en algunos aspectos al GT Sport.
    El juego necesita conexión permanente, dato que la prensa omitió en sus análisis, no importa que juegues solo, necesitas estar conectado a internet en todo momento, si se te va la conexión, mala suerte. Junto al tema de la conexión permanente, el sistema de progresión es el punto más negativo del juego, la progresión es muy lenta, el juego parece que esté preparado para casi obligarte a gastar dinero, el juego tiene su propio dinero que vas consiguen con las carreras, pero que consigues muy poco a poco, si quieres conseguir un buen coche (que te va a hacer falta para ganar carreras) vas a necesitar dedicarle muchísimas horas. El matchmaking del juego está hecho para que te den ganas de querer comprar coches mejores con dinero real, este Gran Turismo es un Pay To Win en toda regla. Que haya coches que cuesten 40 € de dinero real, es un abuso en toda regla, ya que es un coche que tardarías meses en poder comprar con dinero del juego y estamos hablando de un único coche, si quieres tener varios coches, Ferrari, Porsche, etc, ve preparando la chequera.
    Que manera de cargarse la saga, desde luego no recomiendo este GT para nada, hay mucho mejores juegos de conducción que te proporcionan mucha más diversión y calidad.    … Expand

    They razed whole brand here.

    Game has not offered any fun so far, just few low quality cars, max speed is 100 km/h not good races and only a few tracks because everything needed to be opened by quests that are linear and designed to be unejoyable. Easy mode makes game harder. I miss days when you could have fun in games and designed for players.

    Gameplay hasn't changed in the career mode. Still the truly dreadful race format.

    However progress has been made on graphics and microtransactions.

    I'm going back to Project Cars 2 (a PS4 game) for the career on PS5!

    Bad physics, no car damage, excessive grind to get new cars, micro-transactions. They've even added more grind i patch after first reviews. Shame on you Polyphony/Sony. Ray tracing available only on replays and photo mode. Music rally mode in such a game? Seriously? This game is like GT6 with single player mode added.

This is much worse than GTA Online because in GTA you still have a 50 hours single player campaign where you purchase everything with in-game payouts. Not to mention the lack of content after you complete the Café stuff and the fact than you can't use for Race Events a lot of cars you earn during the campaign.
    That's a shame. I think a lot of people will be abandon GT Series after that.
    For the first time I'm agree with a Review Bombing movement, Sony should understand that we are gamers and not only money machines, especially for a full price game like GT7.    … Expand

    De base el juego podría tener su público, ya que aporta cosas interesantes para los fetichistas de los coches. Más allá de ello se siente un juego desfasado para los tiempos que estamos y lo que se puede esperar de la saga. La gota que colma el vaso es la conexión permanente y los macropagos incluidos en el juego que lo convierten en un pay to win.

    Won't let you play and the connections to the servers are spotty at best.
    I love when I am in the middle of a race and I get an hourglass and then get returned to the main screen for no reason...well, those were a good number of long laps for nothing.
    I guess I will be going back to Forza Horizon 5 again but I already beat that so now what?

    Greedy micro transactions and always online pretty much ruin this game. It's a shame too, because there is massive potential here. If they wanted to milk players for all they're Worth they should have just went free to play and not charged full price while hiding dlc costs from re and unbecoming big a PlayStation franchise.     The game is fantastic, but not being able to carry on my single player campaign because they are doing server maintenance is not good at all. Been unplayable for a full 24 hours.

    OK... it is now playable again, but gets boring fast as you don't win enough money in each race. I have therefore moved on to other better games.

    - 100% online requirement which means that a game I play mostly offline is not playable at all when they decide to do a maintenance or whenever their server have an issue.

I payed 70 stupid euros for a game and they made it extremely hard to earn enough coins to buy some of the cars in the game if playing is not your full time occupation. And hear me well I'm a fan of the series and I used to love grinding in this game to earn cars, but this is now at a ridiculous level. They are also playing hard with FOMO by selling "rare" cars as "limited" to push the weakest people to use their real cash in their game. And WORST OF ALL, it was already bad enough but two weeks after the game released, they just pushed an update that divided by two almost all rewards for races, this is absolutely disgusting.
    - The campaign mode is the shortest (by far) and most linear of all games of the license. Where previous games used to feel like an RPG where you have to plan and make choices on your own, this game is so guided and you feel like everything is spoon fed to you chapter after chapter... Also there is not a single long race like Le Mans 24h or stuff like that

    So now I just learned about this horrible update reinforcing the pay-to-win aspect of the game and I can't even play the OFFLINE aspects of the game because they have been maintaining their server for at least 10 hours apparently. And I paid 70€ for this piece of ****, this is insane, absolutely ridiculous.

    I won't even comment of the few positive aspects of this game because they are largely outbalanced and I'm just very sad and disgusted.    … Expand

I finished the "campaign" if you can call the stupid Cafe a campaign... In a very very casual weekend. I couldn't believe it when the idiotic ai drivers began congratulating me. Then they updated to slay already puny race rewards and add cars thatThis pains me. This isn't a purposeful review "bomb". People just need to know the truth. I don't understand why GT can't put effort into the sounds of the vehicle. I don't give a F about your music crap.     It's a real shame this game released as it did. The graphics are great. That's really about it. The way the game is pushing real world money transactions is frustrating. It should be free to play if you are going to implement these tactics of greed.

    Nunca pensé que le daría un 4 a un Gran Turismo. El principal motivo son los micropagos y la dificultad de conseguir moneda IN GAME. Es absurdo pagar 80 euros por un juego y que te hagan pasar de nuevo por caja (Indefinidamente) Para mi esto le resta 5 puntos y otro punto por que los gráficos cumplen sin más. Es una lástima porque se siente fantástico cada coche, cada mínimo cambio queNunca pensé que le daría un 4 a un Gran Turismo. El principal motivo son los micropagos y la dificultad de conseguir moneda IN GAME. Es absurdo pagar 80 euros por un juego y que te hagan pasar de nuevo por caja (Indefinidamente) Para mi esto le resta 5 puntos y otro punto por que los gráficos cumplen sin más. Es una lástima porque se siente fantástico cada coche, cada mínimo cambio que hagas se traduce en una conducción diferente.

    The gameplay itself is good.
    But it requires always on-line, once server is down (happening now, a maintenance last for over 24h), you can't even play single player mode.
    Let alone the low race profit and overprice cars, forcing player pay for their greedy micro transactions.
    Very disappointed.

    bought deluxe edition because i thought i could enjoy the content offline as in gt sport, not the case, unlike gt sport you cannot race your cars you have purchased offline, just a very limited selection of cars the developer has picked, disgusted to see such regression in a first party title, shame on you polyphany.....

    Best things are the graphics. Always starting in last and catching up to 1st place 2 miles in front of you is not fun. The microtransactions of in game currency to buy cars is absolutely disgusting. I wanted to love this game.

    Graphics settings are superior mostly on REPLAYS...do You get it? Replays...Ray Tracing so hyped up in presentation is only on replays...

    Latest patch addendum: Dropped my rating to a 1. All the new races are just more impractical challenges that belong in the mission section. It's not fun driving a car that can't meet the pace of the slowest computer cars all of the time. Yeah, the rewards are good, but I would have been happier with a lower reward and a more practical racing experience.

    Long Version:

    They didn't make a race game, they made a puzzle game (talking single-player here). Most races require you to find very specific cars, tunes/setups for a consistent winning strategy. The PP requirement doesn't apply to the computer (and the computer doesn't have the same handling conditions you do). The strategy you need to use to win is only good for that race because that's how it was developed. Really stupid stuff like reloading races for wet conditions, maxing HP and wall riding, no pit stop set ups, abusing grid starts and defending 10 laps...etc. Not exploits, these are developed strategies for certain races.

    I also waste tons of hours tuning cars with no mechanical background at all. Gear timing shouldn't be in a ps5 game - go work for another sim developer if that's the kind of game you want to make. No reason the computer couldn't auto-calculate a gear timing ratio for you - but that would take actual development work, ingenuity, and you'd have to take advantage of being a video game instead of pretending you're a simulator.

    The only endurance races - which are my favorite part because they really show off what is best about the game and lock me in the zone, are few and only found in the missions so you only get rewarded for your first win. They are going to add more endurance... to missions.

    I wasn't one of the players grinding a single lap rally race - but the fact that so many people went ballistic ought to be a sign of how fun the game is. If there was anything of redeeming value outside of the excitement of buying and trying out a new car, than the user score wouldn't have dropped so much. The game just isn't fun.    … Expand

I checked in with all of my normal reviewers the day *before* the patch, saw decent reviews and bought the game. By the time I played for the first time patch 1.07 was live. And of course.. no refunds. I'veI'm appalled. Especially when u add this stuff after release when people let their guards down and in alot of cases (At least Digital) cant get a refund. Ok, you can race Goodwood-Track and gain 52.500 € in about 5 minutes per race... so in only 353 races and 29.5h of pure fun you get your F1 for 18500000 credits... how absurd is that??? laugh...

    2- Ai "Sophy" system it's totally Hardcore and unbalanced on the Gr.Series campaing events, they must turn down the Ai difficulty level -25% at least

    3- Making in game cash (credits) it´s a true grind, we need more cash gains and rewards to make the cars more obtainable as well the performance mods (without PAYING REAL EXTRA MONEY)

    4- Make us able to sell our cars again like in every other GT game

    5- Performance mods are too weak to the point that feels unrealistic, i know some cars in game that can produce with the same mods a lot more power in real life, like the classic VW Beetle, in real life i know there is shops that can make it with +300hps tuned to the max with a big turbo, but in game it´s about 100hps tuned to the max even turbocharged, we need a lot more HPs on this performance mods for all cars

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]
