    $70!++++++++$$$$$$$$$. $$$ & $$$$$$$. You just finally win the event only to get a lottery ticket that always lands on the lowest reward 99% of the time. The racing is awesome but the greed of Sony forbids me for giving this game more than a 1.

    Game is great fun and all but at the moment it doesn't really matter because the only online to play, the slow and grinding credit system and microtransactions make it horrible. The economics in this game is a mess. It costs you 37k for a set of racing tyres and the prize money for winning the race is 30k

    Am sich ein solides Spiel, aber mit dem neuen Patch wird der Spieltag enorm gebremst. Bei über 400 Autos hat man natürlich ein paar Lieblinge die man in seiner Sammlung haben will. Zudem will man auch in die Kiste ordentlich Geld investieren da man jetzt wieder ein ausgiebiges Tuningsystem zur Verfügung hat. Auch beim Sport Modus muss man vorher seine Autos ordentlich pimpen um überhauptAm sich ein solides Spiel, aber mit dem neuen Patch wird der Spieltag enorm gebremst. Bei über 400 Autos hat man natürlich ein paar Lieblinge die man in seiner Sammlung haben will. Zudem will man auch in die Kiste ordentlich Geld investieren da man jetzt wieder ein ausgiebiges Tuningsystem zur Verfügung hat. Auch beim Sport Modus muss man vorher seine Autos ordentlich pimpen um überhaupt mitreden zu können. Das kostet natürlich alles Credits, das Spiel gibt aber keine Möglichkeiten mehr ordentlich daran zu kommen. Online gibt es nicht viel, die täglichen Belohnungen sind hit or miss, aber meistens das Letztere, und in Einzelrennen auf der Weltkarte wurden die Belohnungen so stark rintergeschraunt das es gar keinen Spaß macht. Klar, bei Sport gab es viele Blue Moon Builds um für Geld zu grinden, ein paar Bugs die man ausnutzen konnte, aber bei 7 gibt es keine effektive Methode um an Geld zu kommen, außer echtes Geld dafür auszugeben. Wenn man bedenkt das man manch teures Auto wie den R18 für 3 Mille braucht um an die Platin Trophäe zu kommen, wird das ganze Spektakel nur noch traurig. Uch arbeite so langsam mich voran und hoffe das Polyphony den Fehler einsieht und das Problem mit einem Patch wieder behebt.… Expand

    The way the game pushes you into microtransactions that are not "micro" by any means is unacceptable. Do not buy this game, it is not worth it. If it was free to play then maybe, but not a premium top tier game.

    The campaign (offline) content was completely unavailable for over 33 hours due to server maintenance. Offline content SHOULD NOT REQUIRE ONLINE CONNECTION ALL THE TIME. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Also the game heavily promotes microtransactions, since PD wants cars value to reflect cars real life value.     A clear victory for it competitor Forsa and another nail in the coffin for the Gran Turismo franchise. Polyphony Digital has stopped respecting gamers. Oh how the mighty has fallen. Since ps1 I've supported you now I'm finally done with Gran Turismo series. gt7



    being sold at my local store at 75% discount but theyve been sitting on the shelf no-ones buying them.

    Gt7 was patched to exclusively become a platform to get you to pay micro-transactions to have a good experience. Base gameplay was already barely affordable with in-game economy and that has been removed. Do not buy

    Did not buy GT Sport due to missing carreer mode. Now career mode is back, but with microtransactions at ludicrous prices. Do not like the always online mode, but can live with it. Will not buy if it stays like this.

    Great game BUT always online, rigged roulette, microtransactions and nerf rewards after 1.07 update kill it. GT7 was my first and will stay my only GT game. Never again will I buy an always online game that I mainly use for singleplayer

    This is honestly the worst GT game of all time. GT3 and 4 was where this brand was top. GT5 was good as well. But this just looks like an upscaled last gen game PS4 game. The environments look wack. Cars look great when not in gameplay as GT has always been.n

    Lo que han introducido en este juego ya no son micro pagos, son MACRO pagos. Los coches están muy cuidados pero los ambientes en los circuitos parecen de PS3. Sumado al tiempo offline que han estado los servidores y que no han permitido jugar al modo carrera (offline) es la gota que ha colmado el vaso.

    More like a super grind, taking all the fun out of it to drive in-app purchases. Unless you pay more, time to progress is soo much longer than all the previous editions, it feels more like a mobile game such as    Graphics and audio are great.

    I can not play A $110 AUD game on a solo campaign due to always being online because their servers are down WTF AND you make the game even more grinder making it A PAY TO WIN Nah this **** needs to be fixed to allow us to play solo offline **** this I'm selling this game to get my full refund and I'm going back to Fortza at least I can play offline with access to my garage in that game.

    Grind Turismo 7 - the latest game falling victim to corporate greed. Thing is, at the end of the day, it's the players that matter and the players aren't happy. They'll abandon the game in their droves, social media will be most effective with the bad press and Sony's / PD's reputation suffers massively.

    When will they learn?

It's a solid game for sure, but they really need to remove those 2 things or this franchise is just going to die. Its an 8 as far as gameplay, but in general, this game is a 0.5, Im being Generous giving it a 1.

    The game was great fun up until the menus ended and it became apparent this game is essentially just one massive grind just to enjoy the cars you want. Then they updated it to reduce payouts.

    The fact they make you grind so hard just just to get one car and pushing you pay so much to pay instead is absurd. The always online also make this even worse. Graphics are very average. Overall mediocre experience that was sold to me by reviewers as something else. To think I pay £70 for this game just to be forced to spend more to make progress is unacceptable.

    How to fix GT7:
    1. Make it not online-only. DRM f*cking sucks. I paid $70 for a physical copy of a game that I can’t play when your servers are offline. 2. Either get rid of the micro transactions, or fix the economy in the game. 3. Add the ability to put bots into online races. Racing against a buddy with ONLY your buddy REALLY sucks.

    That the game is online only is bad enough. My main gripe is with race payouts. With 400+ cars (and more to come) trying to grind out credits is just too much. I understand that the low payouts are meant to drive players to the cash shop but to go in during the last update to cut many payouts in half is just plain awful.     I was really enjoying the game, until the game went down for an extended period of time even though all I wanted to do was play the single player game. Not being able to play the game when I want even though I'm not playing any multiplayer is a massive fail.     I finished "career" mode, and still can't buy any cool car because i've got no coins. My garage is quite empty too. Where is all the fun? Racing on a cheap ass car in a car sim game is not how i define fun. In fact, this is pure garbage. My first and last experience with GT franchise. Back to Forza.

    pésima jugabilidad, la camara en tercera persona está rota, las colisiones son de lo mas irreál, este juego viene a manchar una saga LEGENDARIA que se perdió en la ps3, porqué ni el GT Sport fue de mi agrado, gráficos acartonados y micropagos excesivos, no merece mas que nota roja, una pena lo que se convirtió Gran Turismo

    After 1 weekend i was finished with story mode.... this is no Gran Turismo. 2.000.000 ingame credits for 20 bucks? Are you serious? After a patch you got lesser money for each race? This is the last GT i habe bought.

    Gran Turismo is a cool saga in general but from the GT6 until now they stat to loose the feeling, now this game looks like a PS3 game, is expensive in price and becomes in a pay to win, Sony is going to the hole with every new game with bugs, poor quality and cheap results for a high proce, this GT7 is a shae.

    for a $70 game, there should not be micro transactions anywhere near as high as they're in this game. it totally ruins the game. They really slowed down the progression so that you buy more microtransactions. Do not buy this game

    Game looks amazing. That's literally the only good thing about this game. Everything else just feels like a grind and boring experience. I especially don't like they took away the driving levels away and put a focus on car collecting instead. Which almost feels forced upon?

    Dissapointed is an understatement. Online only, Gamecore feels very true to the Series in general, but rewardmechanics and overall grind make this Iteration literally no fun at all. Not to mention downtime with no access to the Game during Maintenanceperiods. Shift and focus towards solely predatory MTX's enhance the overall lackluster and moot career experience (jeez, remember GT4?). GameDissapointed is an understatement. Online only, Gamecore feels very true to the Series in general, but rewardmechanics and overall grind make this Iteration literally no fun at all. Not to mention downtime with no access to the Game during Maintenanceperiods. Shift and focus towards solely predatory MTX's enhance the overall lackluster and moot career experience (jeez, remember GT4?). Game is unnecessary grindy, unrewarding and overall timewaster. Being a Veteran of the Series since 1997 (feeling very old writing this) it's my last time shilling over 70$ for a GT Installment.     The game is great, but I cannot rate it more than 1 out of 10. Polyphony is using EA sports microtransactions strategy. They are clearly not interested in the gamers satisfaction. They clearly only want money. As more you play, more the game makes you want to buy credits with real money. The name of the game should be Gran Microtransactions 7.

Honestly if I knew about the microtransactions I would not have bought this game at all. It's not even pay to win, it's pay to play. I don't have time nor the patience as I did when I was 13 to play this game and grind to get even a semi-decent car.I was so excited for this game to come out. My childhood rediscovered. Polyphony clearly banked on our nostalgia to deliver this cash grab. Honestly if I knew about the microtransactions I would not have bought this game at all. It's not even pay to win, it's pay to play. I don't have time nor the patience as I did when I was 13 to play this game and grind to get even a semi-decent car. This game is a huge disappointment. I honestly would get a refund if I could.

    1) Can't sell cars anymore

    2) Some parts cannot be removed, therefore if you want a build without a part, you better buy another car

    3) Trophy for buying the same car 10 times

    4) Tuning in Sport Mode. Costs build up very quickly.

    5) No B spec to earn passive credits

    6) Rolling starts massively dispersed therefore more likely to build a high PP car to compete

    7) Car prices have dramatically risen, even since GT Sport

    8) Roulette prizes are clearly more weighted towards the lower end

    9) And finally: the moment a decent payout race was discovered, work began to patch it

    They really know how to take the fun out of racing. After playing it for several hours, the campaign is bare bones and mediocre, the licenses are incredibly strict with some being impossible. The driving HUD and options are unintuitive and poorly designed. There are better racing games out there than this one, don’t play it.     They reduced race payouts by 1/3 in order to force people to buy credits with real money. They did this after launch, this is nothing but a bait and switch and a scam!

    On top of this the game has very bad always online DRM.

    Avoid at all costs.

    Beautiful gameplay and details. But the always online and severe mtx ruins the game. Sony seems driven to get a piece of mtx money. Next thing you know, god of war will have mtx for weapons and skins. Hopefully they make some changes. $70-$90 game plus mtx is ridiculous.

    I want to start off saying that the game is beautiful and on the PS5 it has great features like the feedback on the controllers.     Pros:
    The GT World Map is nice and well setup
    Love the return of GT Auto, Used Car Dealership, and Tuning Shop
    Good Mix of Cars
    Cafe is a nice feature
    So much car history and information (my favorite feature of this game)

    Cons:
    Always online even in single player, which is a bummer
    Races are way too easy, Playing on hardest difficulty I have yet to find a challenging event other than License and Missions.
    Have to down grade cars constantly in order to create minimal challenge
    No Damage. Hit a wall at 200mph no problem spin around once and good to go
    Roulette system needs fixed, over 100 tickets opened and almost all have been 5000 credits rewards

    Gran Turismo 4 was the pinnacle of what GT could be. It’s been downhill but overall enjoyable up until maybe 6 or sport. Now it’s terrible. Not nearly enough races and you can’t use any of the special cars in ANY races.

    I will start off with the improvements.
    Dynamic weather and improved car customisation on both visual and performance. Oh and you get music rally which you play once and never again because it isn't even part of the game and gives you nothing for doing it. The licenses are slightly better. You also get another version of licenses but are for racing other people instead. The difficulty is allot harder overall in this game. The AI still isn't perfect but massively improved from GT sport. But they are still dumb enough to pay no attention to the player.
    Thats what you get for your 70 gbp.
    The bad sides. Oh here we go. Get the popcorn.
    The driving levels have been completely replaced with car collection levels. But you can buy cars with real money. So you can unlock everything in the game without even racing if your bank account is big enough. Now that is what I call pay to win.
    The AI can go around the track quicker then in GT sport but the player is still completely unnoticed by them so they will still break test you, ram you and basically treat you as if you don't exist.
    Most of the content in this game is just ripped from GT sport and it doesn't bring 70 gbp's worth to the table. We still have only got the Bugatti veyron. Why no super sport or Chiron?
    The roulette from GT sport has been replaced with some complete garbage that gives you the bottom prize 95% of the time (no exaggeration) I have done about 30 spins now and I have had 10k twice, other then that I have had 2k and 5k.
    The performance points "PP" system just doesn't work. The handling upgrades offers way to much performance points. So your car can have the max PP for a race but still get curb stomped by the AI due to low speed. This can lead people to confusion thinking they are bad at the game not realising that the AI doesn't balance to the speed of your car but instead balances to PP.
    The pre order cars are terrible and not even unique so people who pre ordered the digital version of the game basically got car's that don't stand a chance in competing against cars in the same category. You can't sell them either. Plus I got 100k which is basically a couple races in cash or £2 off the PS store. I think we should have gotten a car that was unique as a thank you for having faith in the company delivering a good product. Well my faith has gone in this company after this complete scam of a game. Everything is set up in order to squeeze more money from the consumer. Like repeating races the prize pool lowers each time. So now if you buy a car for 1 million credits it will be highly unlikely you get 1 million credits back from the same car. If GT sport had the same car customisation I would continue playing that.
    But they expanded the single player didn't they? yes and no. Technically it is longer but its just rinse and repeat. In GT sport you had different categories, a section for FR, a section for offroad, F1, classics, etc... On this everything is just slapped out in a moshpit of races. The mission cards are just the same tasks over and over except a different type of car each time. Do 3 races in a ford, do 3 races in a FR, do 3 races in a Porsche and that is all you get. Nothing else. There is no way to tell how far you have progressed in the campaign either. That's if you can call it a campaign. I would say its more just arcade races.
    I can't believe I am saying this but GT sport is arguably better. The AI balancing was better, the single player was better, the progression system was better, and it was focused on racing.
    GT7 just feels less rewarding for racing and there hasn't really been anything new that hasn't already been done in a previous GT game.

    Let me add aswell. It doesn't even tell you what weather that race so you bring out race tires and it chucks it down with rain. You could pit stop but because the AI aren't going to then youll fall miles behind and loose the race. Such an obvious thing to include is a weather cast for each race, especially when 1 of their huge bragging points in this game was how they massively improved weather and made it dynamic and stuff. Oh but they can't even tell you what tires to use? The amount of times I go into a race and I have to quit because its raining is ridiculous. Gran Turismo was always a reason to buy a Playstation but with how the series is going I think that is gonna change. Its supposed to be the top racing game but like all devs they get sloppy and greedy.    … Expand

The penalty system is completely broken, is almost impossible find clean races because is easy to crash with everybody and make the overtake. Usually they get non penalty at all and you lost the position and eat dirt. If they crash against you very hard they get 2 seconds penalty and youIs just a completely mess.     Granturismo é uma grande franquia que é bem renomada no mercado, mas parece que a Sony não consegue encontrar isso, bom .. pelo menos é o que dá a entender, não tem cabimento tratar com tanto desleixo uma franquia desse Port, eu esperava muito desse game, e confesso que me decepcionei demais, se tratando de granturismo, Sony precisa acordar.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
