    Micro transactions ruined this game and less content then GT Sport. Even in September 2022 the game economy is garbage. Barely any cups. I really hope Sony does better with future first party exclusives.

    This is the worst game I've ever played and have never felt as conned out of my money as I do now. I made the mistake of watching a review from PD shill SuperGT on YouTube instead of getting an accurate measure from honest people. This is my finish with Sony aswell as their customer service is appalling.

    GT7 feels like crap, this game feels soo boring and slow and needs LOTs of grinding to buy a single car, yes the game looks amazing , but that's about it

    Microtransactions everywhere, cars heavily overpriced, proper GT career does not exist, not enough events for cars, the graphics are still from the previous generation, weak and very slow updates...
    and the developers are just silent.

    its a single player game but need to be connected to the Internet all the time. They are often disconnected. Believe me, if you run for half an hour and then fail to save the game, you will feel very unhappy. Stupid company for wasting such gread content!

    Stunning & beautiful! Sadly thats where it ends. As the old outdated HUD adds nothing new. Fuel saving races are a pain as you have to choose to use radar or your fuel map. As a game that promotes good sportsmanship I don’t know why they choose to not provide you with a radar at all times. A ton of hidden on track info that the user doesn’t get to know. Adding bandaid after bandaid to the PP system has left the tuning aspect of the game basically pointless.definitely a product of lazy fixes. Online only has no benefits. Nothing to gain multiplayer lobby’s still struggle to stay stable and the longer a lobby is up the worse it gets. No lobby handoffs and if a host leaves the whole lobby shuts down. Balance of Performance (BOP) is anything butgr1 & gr4 are horrid. We never get the bragged on dynamic weather in daily races. So if you wanted to race with friends or a big tuning player or just want a equal playing field to measure yourself against other drivers this IS NOT the game for you. That’s not even counting the multiple cars that are around $190 if you don’t want to grind for weeks & weeks on the same 3 races. There are soo many more problems I could get into with the lack of road car rally races, horrible single player campaign, and biases that are way to obvious. I had about 15 more problems I wanted to touch on but this should underline the biggest issues of the game. $20 or less grab it. I wouldn’t pay a cent more for this game.… Expand

    The game is beautiful, cars are great, customization amazing. The racing? The racing f'ing SUCKS! Want to go around a corner? Nope - stupid AI just spins you out. Passing a car with a blue flag? They'll spin you out too. Oh, what's that? Rain? Better put on my inters/wets - doesn't f'ing matter because they don't stop you from doing donuts around the track even if the AI gets around justThe game is beautiful, cars are great, customization amazing.     I created account just to review this game. Numerous complaints. First is the inability to sell cars. Who wants a garage full of terrible hatchbacks that you will never drive? Additionally, selling unwanted cars is no longer a source of in game currency. This decision seems like a predatory attempt to get consumers to spend real world money on in game currency. Finally, for reasons I won’t get into here, I wanted to delete my game progress and start over. For some reason beyond my comprehension this isn’t possible. The only work around is to great a new PlayStation account. Very bizarre choice on the part of the developer. Overall GT7 has truly been abysmal and feels like a waste of $70.… Expand

Invitation only cars that you only can get by some random ticket that you have virtually no chance of getting. Ridiculous idea.     I simply started to play yesterday and today i cant continue the carrer, there is some sort of error and i got blocked the carrer mode... I only can play 3 races and the licenses... I cant buy the cars i need because the dealership is blocked...

    Probably this have to do with online sync 24/7... I cant understand why Polyphony made this game like this...

    About 20 hours of patching, forced mini game to start then another 20 minutes of unskippable credits/intro video, I have not been able to play the game. Intentionally. A game you can’t even play isn’t a game.

    Great game but the reward tickets are a joke. It starts in the same spot and ends after the same count. It's not random. It's BS!! I hope this gets fixed ASAP because now I'm hoarding all my tickets until the issue is fixed.

    Glad to be able to play a Grand Turismo again what was my disappointment to play such crap, the game system that encourages people to checkout, the setup of the cars which and completely ridiculous and the driving of the cars and really undriveable often I am very disappointed with GT7 I who am a fan of the series I leave GT7 and not ready to play it

    Sad to see, since the game was really fun without any of the purchasing or on-line shenanigans. I’m not a gamer and I don’t -and will not- own this game.     GT7 had so much potential, it's really disappointing how the end result turned out.

    To start, the technical underpinning is all there. It looks and sounds fabulous and the controls/physics work well on both gamepad and steering wheels. It all falls apart when it comes to content. To start, the game holds your hand all the way through the single player campaign.     To start, the game holds your hand all the way through the single player campaign. The majority of players are going to obtain the same exact cars in the same exact order. It's also got this broken Performance Point system that restricts you into using specific vehicles and tunes, a terrible departure from the original titles. It's not all terrible, at the very least it gives the player a sense of progress by giving everyone a constant feed of new cars and credits.

    This ends fairly quickly though. After a leisurely 20 hours of playing what feels like a tutorial, the credits roll. The prize cars and tickets dry up, and the real slog begins. Now you can do the same few races over and over again to grind for some of those cars in the Legend dealership, the most expensive of which will take around 12 hours of pure grinding before you can afford them. There are about 5 at that price at the time I'm writing this, and they're all "dynamically" priced, i.e. the price just keeps increasing over time.

    Then there's the UI, it's just awful, navigation is very clunky and unintuitive, especially if you're using a wheel with a d-pad. Be prepared to accidentally back out of the tuning shop a fair number of times, and waste a good bit of time going back and forth. The only thing that's easy to access in the entire UI is the microtransaction button. It's proudly presented every time you gain any credits, and is always two clicks away.

    How about the AI and constant rolling starts? Start from the back of the pack and work you way up, almost every single race. Then watch the AI suddenly rubberband and speed up on the final laps. Mario Kart did a better job back in 1992.

    I really don't know what to say, PD could have just given us an updated version of GT4 and it would have been perfect. Instead we have a compete regression, 1/5th the content and a heavy push towards microtransactions. It's oddly out of line with all the other great content we see from coming from the other Sony first party studios.    … Expand

It's better than Gran Turismo Sport, because cars like the Mazda RX-8, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI TME, Nissan Silvia S15, etc. made a return. 1 year later, it is a disappointment. I hate Gran Turismo 7 so much. I will tell car fans about this. If you're disappointed about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX, sell GT7.     after a rough launch week with offline servers and lack of content, gt7 grown to be the game it was supposed to be at launch. it wasnt rushed by any means, but just not in touch with the community and the current times, gt6 came out 2013 and gt7 seems to be stuck at this time and age. now the game is in a much better state, but the lack of content if you dont race online still hits

    Always on in Single Mode required... if the Server is down, you cant play... absolut a nogo for the price of 80 Euro.

    I'm really disappointed with the game.

    First: Why impose a mandatory connection on us to play solo?

    It's dishonest and scandalous.

    Second: micro transactions and draws with tickets are rigged. We never have a good reward.

    Third: The lack of variety circuits in the city like Paris, London, New York... no circuit on the snow...

    Gt4, Gt5 and Gt6 are better and have more content.

    But GT7 managed to do something that no other game did: it made me so angry due to several issues. First, there's the connectivity problem. Even when playing in solo mode, it forces you to stay connected to the internet.
    They created various car categories, but there isn't a specific championship for them, which means you end up wasting money unnecessarily. And there's no option to create races of a specific class.
    When I say they only want professionals, try taking on the Nurbürgring challenge. I guarantee you'll end up driving over three hundred kilometers just to complete it. Want an even more challenging task? Try the one-hour mission at Lago Maggiore. But before you judge me and say I don't know how to play, disconnect your steering wheel and accessories and try to complete the races using just the controller. The game punishes you if you miss a braking point.
    I bitterly regret spending my money on Gran Turismo 7. I uninstalled it from my console and went back to Sport, although it has its flaws, they're not as glaring as those in GT7. I wouldn't recommend it!!!    … Expand

    The fact that a movie is coming out in August 11th for the Gran Turismo franchise, and that this game has had no minor changes to its single player experience because of it, I don’t recommend this game if you had watched the movie. Your better off buying a PS3 and Play Gran Turismo 5 and 6. The PS3 can also run the PS1 version of Gran Turismo which is far better than GT7. They worked so hard licensing cars and tracks just for them not to be used or enjoyed, every detail is wasted because your main focus is to get as much credits on the highest paying race track, the easiest being LeMan. They promised more endurance races for each track in the game but received none. The development team make the most easiest tasks the hardest thing ever.… Expand

    I used to love playing this game, until the upcoming update. Now, the game has every Corvette, except the C5. Giving it a zero, because of that. Please, Polyphony! Don't turn this into another FH2 fiasco, where it has every Corvette except the C5 until its end! ADD THE C5 TO THE GAME!

    I bought this to play on my PSVR2. Its literally the most I've ever paid for a game, but its plain boring. Played 15+hrs on this just because I bought it, but it just isn't fun. The VR part of it is also boring and its not worth it.
    Older GT7 players might like it, but it isn't the game for you if you aren't already a very huge Driving simulator fan and looking for a fun engaging and    I bought this to play on my PSVR2.     This is a 70$ AAA pay-to-win only-online singleplayer game.

    The driving feels nice, the models are looking good and i like the tracks.
    But that doesn't matter because the game's economy is to broken to have fun with the game.

    Sad, i've been a fan of the series.
    But this is so bad, it will probably be my last GT.

    The game is fantastic until you hit the gr3 cups. THIS IS NOT a race game but a shoot'em up. The leader goes free nad 14 bodyguards try to block you.
    Uninstalled all gT games, never to bother again. Such a huge HUGE dissapointment. Without these cups game is fine though.

    Gran Turismo 7 has a lot of good and plenty of great. The use of DualSense and the particularly well-tuned loading is exemplary, and there's a huge amount of work behind the game, with a lot of detail that's almost hard to believe at times. [Issue#318]

    Gran Turismo 7 brings to the tracks every single thing fans always wanted: the GT Mode everyone loves, plenty of customization options, car loads, classic scenarios and one of the best DualSense and 3D Audio experiences the PS5 has to offer. This is the best Gran Turismo experience we have ever seen in a long time.

    Gran Turismo 7 is a love letter to motorsport history and an impeccable technical showcase. The franchise's traditional formula gets good improvements, but it's still extremely true to its roots. One of the best racing series ever shines spectacularly on the PS5.
