    i played diablo 2 for 20 YEARS+ and still play d2R. since diablo 4 release 2 months ago....i have already lost all enjoyment of the game and uninstalled it. constant crashing. lag and rubber banding (since season 1 update) makes it impossible to have smooth sessions without feeling frustrated. the devs are out of touch fools who thought they could serve us a half baked game, WRONG! thei played diablo 2 for 20 YEARS+ and still play d2R. since diablo 4 release 2 months ago....i have already lost all enjoyment of the game and uninstalled it. constant crashing. lag and rubber banding (since season 1 update) makes it impossible to have smooth sessions without feeling frustrated. the devs are out of touch fools who thought they could serve us a half baked game, WRONG! the majority of people that bought d4 were long time fans. you alienated the last generation of gamers that actually gave a crap about blizzard. i hope microsoft absorbs you, fires everybody responsible for d4 and fixes this damn mess you fools call a finished game.

    what you need to fix
    -always online needs to go away. give us offline single player
    -enemy scaling to our level ruins the fun. get rid of it
    -servers are garbage. constant lag and rubber banding
    -make all items tradeable!!!! we need a loot economy! give us a trading post
    -make campaign bosses replayable!!! i want to do andy runs and lilith runs!!!
    long story short diablo 4 is a shiny turd with beautifull graphics hiding a shallow boring game that doesn't deserve to be part of the diablo franchise, diablo 3 was better!

    ps; do NOT buy the ultimate version. 150$ gives you absolutely nothing of true value. save your money and skip diablo 4 altogether until very deep sale. once you beat the campaign and reach lvl 50 the game has nothing else to offer    … Expand

    Worst game ever. I've never seen such a lack of communication between developers and users. It's obvious they've never played a game. The creators of the game enjoy causing discomfort and discomfort to users. They're all sadists.

    Señores, estabamos ante uno de los mejores juegos del año, y digo estabamos, ya que blizzard a decidido ir por el camino erroneo, ni le llega a los talones ante el mejor juego de diablo, es un juego que si le cambias el nombre, da lo mismo, perfectamente podria llamarse " la caida de santuario" ya que es lo que pasara a partir de ahora, una pena no aprobechar bien y decidir pagar transacciones

    The developer are out of touch. I don't know why they think it's fun to make the grinds longer, while nerfing everything else. This is a fail on so many levels. How this got past QA without push back, or how management allowed this to happen, is very questionable. Thanks for making this game hell for me, you should have respected my time more and implemented fixes a lot sooner.

    So I have played this game on both Ethernal and Seasonal Realms to 100 on arguably one of the best classes so far - rogue. I killed Uber Lilith and did high Tier (not 100 yet) but 80+ dungeons. I did all the crafting, helltides, open world, campaign, renown farm and so on that is in the game before forming my opinion.

    Good things about the game: - In-game Music - Graphics/Visuals    So I have played this game on both Ethernal and Seasonal Realms to 100 on arguably one of the best classes so far - rogue. I killed Uber Lilith and did high Tier (not 100 yet) but 80+ dungeons. I did all the crafting, helltides, open world, campaign, renown farm and so on that is in the game before forming my opinion.

    Good things about the game:
    - In-game Music
    - Graphics/Visuals bring a new generation, but others are catching up
    - Number of buttons reduction (i.e. less potions etc.)
    and that is it.

    Bad Things is pretty much everything else. Starting with the most important the dev team is clearly corporate job people who blindly follow policies and metrics with zero novel ideas about the game. That is why they were able to destroy whatever was somewhat OK in the game before Season 1 with the crazy patch coming out. For example D4 is supposed and can work as a fairly casual game with console support where people can enjoy for a few hours a day ... and you go and nerf XP to the ground so that it takes forever to level?! Makes no logical sense. Now they backtracking with monster density improvements and etc., which will probably bring a whole other set of issues on the technical front.

    In any case looking at the core loop gameplay before the patch there was a bit more variety with the Helltide and we all had to do the Campaign, renown etc. Now it is literally Just Nightmare dungeons (same 6-8 ones as the others are horrible) on repeat. Why kill Helltide with the patch again -> makes no sense as game lacks content anyhow?

    Still, even if the game boils down to just repeating the same NM dungeons over and over a hardcore ARPG player like me can handle that. However, something destroys the fun out of this completely --- itemization and loot. Remember this game has super limited stash space where you actually have a very hard time playing with more than 2 different characters (as most stash is shared). But that aside there is an extraordinary amount of useless loot dropping that you have to vendor. However, since there is no loot filter one actually has to read through all of it and check the affixes to make sure it is in fact trash. So after EVERY dungeon, you spend about the same amount or half of it (if you are fast) reading and vendoring. And you have to be selective as remember ... the stash space. This just destroys all flow and fun of the game to the point where stuff drops and I'm not wondering if its something cool, but weather or not it is worth picking it up and reading with the super high chance it will be trash to vendor. Personally that is the main reason I also quit the game and rate it as 0/10 given that 30-50% of my gametime is devoted not to slaying monsters and playing the game, but inventory, stash and item management. Furthermore, what the devs did making ALL other content irrelevant with that patch including outside world and world bosses and helltides just shows me that they have zero idea about the direction and improvement of the game so I'm really not at all positive for the future.

    Lastly a score is also related to what the competition is offering and PoE plus Last Epoch and others are just delivering. With PoE 2 comming maybe next year and developments such as when you disconnect you come back in the same world state before, compared to Blizz devs not capable to provide a loot filter just gives me no confidence in the future of this game. Of course this is a personal opinion, but fun is really NOT the name of the game for Diablo 4 currently and in the foreseeable future.    … Expand

    There are insane amounts of game-breaking, fun-destroying bugs that should have been addressed before release. This game is not complete in any form nor fashion. If you play on console you will still crash and freeze once per hour if not multiple times. Only few stash tabs, camera zoomed in, no currency tab or item stacking, no loot filter, missing basic QoL, fatal itemization, bad game design, bad afixes, damage for distance, damage for vulnerable... mobile experience like, no depth, not fun to play

Slow paced combat, long animation locks, waiting for cooldowns before engaging, the extreme amount of CC received and the boss fights being nothing more than an eye-candy. I had so much hope in the game, played the betas with such enthusiasm and coped hard that it won't suck, butMarketing team did their job selling so much copies of this crap.     The best Diablo-like game in history! Its skill tree design is so retro, as if going back 30 years. The map design is incredibly realistic, with exquisitely detailed scenes devoid of any demons. Its gaming concept is so selfless, bringing more popularity and players to other Diablo-like games. Let me say it again, this is the best Diablo-like game ever!

Lead devs clearly do not talk to each other about what balance means to them. Second there is no actual way to provide meaningful feedback as there's no employee engagement on their own forums and then they cherrypick 1-2 comments to respond to on twitter so anyGame gives no drive to farm anything because there is nothing to go after.     1. I regret pre-purchasing, will never do this again with a blizzard game. 2. The gameplay is insanely boring. D3 was IMMEDIATELY fun. This is directly opposite of that. 3. Tying into my 2nd point - the grind is WAY over-tuned. I could understand the level of grind they decided on for launch to keep players busy. But to keep that grind for seasonal content is insane to me. There's no way I'm putting in that many hours for a SEASONAL character. In diablo 3 it took about 8ish hours if I remember correctly to get a character to max level during a season. This was pretty long but felt fine (besides you could get boosted later on). The journey to max level was decently fun, getting weird legendaries that spiked your power level even though they weren't meta. That was very memorable to me. And once you hit max level the game was fun for hours and hours on end. I believe the game deserves a 0 rating for now. But I'll happily change it once the game gets better. If someone asked me if they should buy diablo 4 right now I would actively discourage them from doing so and tell them to wait.     Many bugs are not fixed in patch 1.1.1 and Blizzard never response the forums in which players report these bugs. For example, Necromancer blighted corpse tendrils dose NOT create blood orbs after last maintenance. The Great Feast heart is [+] instead of [x] in its description. I’m totally disappointed.

    I have 100level Druid, Rouge, Barbarian and 80level Necromancer. The design of endgame is really boring. Changing to the other BD really wastes my time. They just give you 32 malignant hearts for 90 days season 1 ? When they found some bug, why they can't hotfix immediately? They are meaning to extend the life of D4, but also losing a lof of players who is looking forward to playing s1.

    But in a very un-Diablo move you no longer can go back and re-fight the same bosses you faced in the campaign. Instead the end game is a nightmarish slog through the same bland dungeons or open world gather/kill tasks over and over and over to the point that there is no point.

    The campaign gave me a lot of hope, but the end game revealed this is just a boring, shallow shell of a once great series.    … Expand

    What a complete disappointment. With D4 being released into a timeframe with other massive releases at least we get to experience proper, well designed and finished games this summer. Blizz deserves all the hate they are getting and maybe just maybe they can figure their **** out and produce something with substance which will take years, if at all. The only good thing about the game was the campaign/cinematics but then you go look at the predatory microtransaction page and see what they are charging and how much of a rip off it is and then even the fun feeling of that goes away because a 100 dollar game is still trying to suck every last dollar out of you.

    I regret ever buying this dumpster fire. I am actually getting mad as I type this out that is how pissed I am at myself for giving them money. Worst part of it is that they don't care.     Game released to early. Key elements of the game not working or as intended. Resistances, mount, spells, aspects, etc. Social connecting is terrible on this, no LFG etc... I have a list of about 50 items i sent in during beta along with bugs that are just being addressed. Sad that blizzard didn't improve on this release. Lesson not learned with diablo 3.

On top of the gameplay issues, it now crashes constantly. Again, no issues initially, but as I progressed, the game started crashing more and more. Start to figure out only 2-3 builds are reliable. End game is worthless. As you push into harder dungeons, the loot does NOT get better. the odds do not increase. The best loot is obtained in the same hour by hourPlayed at Pre-release. Game was fun, storyline was great. It really felt open and adventurous. Finish the story line @level 45/50.     There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.
