    i played a Sorc, they new of multiple bugs with them and simply stated they would not be fixing them for about 6 months (around the release of season 2) to ignore a class outright like that, then a major patch destroying what little defense they had as well as the only form of damage they had made the ONLY enjoyable class unplayable at high end, 1-50 easy but i can no longer farm NMD 85s,i played a Sorc, they new of multiple bugs with them and simply stated they would not be fixing them for about 6 months (around the release of season 2) to ignore a class outright like that, then a major patch destroying what little defense they had as well as the only form of damage they had made the ONLY enjoyable class unplayable at high end, 1-50 easy but i can no longer farm NMD 85s, i struggle in NMD 50s now, that patch was near sighted and Activision made it clear, blizzard is no more… Expand

    Oh, where do I even begin with Diablo IV's Season 1 patch? It's an absolute mess and a slap in the face to loyal fans who have been eagerly awaiting improvements to this highly anticipated game. I'm baffled at how the developers managed to make things even worse with this update.

    First and foremost, the promised new content is nothing but a joke. Instead of delivering on exciting and    Oh, where do I even begin with Diablo IV's Season 1 patch? It's an absolute mess and a slap in the face to loyal fans who have been eagerly awaiting improvements to this highly anticipated game. I'm baffled at how the developers managed to make things even worse with this update.

    First and foremost, the promised new content is nothing but a joke. Instead of delivering on exciting and innovative gameplay elements, all we got were a few lackluster quests that felt repetitive and uninspired. It's almost as if the developers just threw together some random fetch quests and called it a day. There's no depth, no storytelling, and no sense of immersion.

    On top of that, the patch introduced a plethora of game-breaking bugs and glitches. It's mind-boggling how such critical issues made it past any sort of quality control. From crashes that force players to restart their game repeatedly to game-breaking exploits that ruin the experience for everyone, it's clear that the developers didn't bother to test this patch before releasing it. The lack of attention to detail is glaring, and it makes the game nearly unplayable.

    But the disappointment doesn't end there. Diablo IV's Season 1 patch also managed to somehow make the game's graphics worse. How is that even possible? The once impressive and atmospheric visuals have been downgraded to a point where it feels like I'm playing a game from a decade ago. The art style that initially drew players into the dark and haunting world of Diablo has been diluted, leaving behind an unremarkable and forgettable experience.

    Even the new character additions are underwhelming. Instead of bringing in unique and engaging classes to diversify gameplay, we get lackluster variations of existing ones. It's lazy and shows a complete lack of creativity on the part of the development team. Players deserved better, and this patch just feels like a cheap attempt to stretch the already thin content even further.

    Furthermore, the supposed balance changes have only made matters worse. Some classes have been nerfed to the ground, while others have been buffed to the point of being overpowered. The result is a frustrating and uneven playing experience that leaves players feeling disheartened and cheated.

    In conclusion, Diablo IV's Season 1 patch is an absolute disaster. It fails to deliver on its promises of exciting new content, introduces game-breaking bugs, downgrades the graphics, and offers lackluster character additions. As a long-time fan of the franchise, I can't help but feel betrayed by the developers' lack of respect for the players. I can only hope they learn from this colossal failure and make the necessary improvements to salvage what's left of this once-great franchise.     I did have fun for a bit but the micro transactions and battlepass are gonna kill diablo for me. Its very clear the focus is on those, they've developed the Battlepasses and won't even have leaderboards for multiple seasons. That is insane considering the competition is literally the point of seasons. But obviously those micro transactions are the only priority to them.

    is a cash grab wouldn't recommend buying this game. the devs nerfed everything to the ground instead of fixing the main problems. limited stash tabs, devs are out of touch with fans, playerbase and casual players, lackluster gameplay. it gets boring after finishing the story of the game, everythings been nerfed and its not fun to play anymore.

Blizzard has siloed/segregated the community by implementing this. We have the choice of creating a brand new character (to access content we already purchased) or use prior characters with access to no new content. Potions, sigils, strongholds, side quests, renown, are all freaking reset. I feel I wasted 200 hours on a level 75+ sorcerer and 60 rogue.     What is the Diablo IV killer?
    Path of Exile? NO.
    Baldurs Gate III? NO.
    Blizzard Entertainment? Absolutely yes. The game is dead now with the new season 1 patch. I cannot dedicate another set of hundreds of hours to grind from level 1 to 100, with the bloody nerfed characters. Go screw yourself Blizzard.

Boring grindy, I see i have to now get renown again in Season 1. So ****ing so excited for that. Haven't logged in for weeks until today.     I really regret that I bought the game! At best, good optics are presented here, but the fun of playing falls by the wayside. The loot system just sucks and the builds are all dull and slow. Blizzard, you screwed up.

    Was okay before. Really gorgeous. Game still stutters all of the time and I realized that after about level 70, the game doesn't change. There just doesn't feel like there's any incentive to keep playing. Season 1 was a ray of light, but upon realize, it's garbage. All of the things that made grinding annoying, go worse.

Umm Uhh eh we did uh we did add the reset dungeon button uh back in. It does require that you're outside the dungeon and so there's kind of a loop there.

    The last update has made the game unplayable. Do not even think of purchasing it until this is fixed. Certain classes are now unplayable and you can forget about soloing anything unless you have 5 hours to spend and like kiteing all the time. Absolutely terrible

    Now for the gameplay it seems to be the Devs don't understand how to create a game I really Dislike the fact that i can't play it offline.     Bought deluxe edition, farming since day one release. Never seen an ARPG empty like this. Good OST and good open world / game design. And that’s all. Beside that everything is garbage. POE 2 will kill D4. POE actually gang bang D4. Even wolcen gang bang D4… Pathetic.

    Expérience de jeu gaché par de multiple patch avec baisse de puissance, taux de drop extrêmement bas alors que les objets uniques sont obligatoires pour un build optimal...
    Bref déçu, on dirait qu'ils n'ont pas appris de leurs erreurs de diablo3

    I played d3 with my partner a lot, and had a bunch of fun. We tried d4 even started season 1. The game has better graphics but is worse in every way. There are no fun things to do. Outfits are boring. Customization of characters is ok. PvP is broken so not sure why they dont have more classes and wild skills that could be like fun. I really put so much effort into enjoying this game and making an enjoyable experience for my partner and sadly we both hated it... for the 60+ hours played, no more than 5 hours of fun.     So many teams sat down and talked about how bad a patch they could make, and they successfully created such a bad, such a disgusting patch.

    No, you didn't sit down and think.

    You go on the air and say 'what we did was not fun'. It's a joke. Did you see patching as your own fun? How can you release a patch so thoughtlessly. There are dozens of issues, dozens of problems.

    Iv played diablo since the ver first one and after all this time waiting for 4 these are my thoughts. First upon release I was pretty upset that it was pretty much diablo immortal and had ot wait this long Tobe let down. I really was expecting this whole other world for the amount of time it got pushed back. Season rewards are a joke collected them at level 66 completely minus the ones locked per level. My first thoughts was well what am I gona do for 3 months! Same cosmetic just a little diff for ppl who paid. Lame. Shop is the same stuff just shuffled around and definitely need a better designer lol poe had the right idea. Completely bored at this point and I get I whizzed through it and it's not where most ppl are at but ppl like me are the ones who continue to play it and have been. Quality of like stuff is redic. From gems to let's just teleport you OUTSIDE the dungeon lol ffs. The horse -_- rework the hell out of that. Paragon reset plz. Per square and a all at once. I could keep going but all these years waiting to be handed soemthing where I get stuck by invisible walls and things truly aren't thought out. Sad to say a polished turd. Btw the music doesn't stuck like d2 does . Anyways just disappointed and after the huge patch and the lack of humility and questions awnsered in the campfire. I will get to 100 and un install never look back. Gg d4 you lost ur MOJO and fun..

    I officially uninstalled this game. Both campfires were garbage and talk about a philosophy that doesn't exist in game. Longevity of the game? When u reach end game and just static because you can't progress what's the point in continuing. No incentive in pushing t100 dungeons nothing. I'm utterly disappointed. Amongold was right.     You want to make the game fresh and exciting with a new patch by giving us new content, not by having us rerun over the same territory. I haven't even played sorcerer yet and now it's pointless to do so at this point since it has been nerfed to death. That translate as less replay value. The new powers are not worth my time to mine for. Shame.

    The games state and lack of content (even after the upcomming 1.1.1 patch) really reflects how you as the consumer paid 90 USD/EUR for a game in beta stage. The game isnt ready for release for atleast 9-15 months. Shame on Activision.

    I dont like PVP and in season i have to . try many times to do the season quest in pvp area, but always i get killed by groups of Playes . so i cant go on with the season . Thanks for haveing no fun Blizzard Entertainment :(

They give no player choice for playstyle despite what they have claimed over and over again. You cannot simply pick it up and play builds you make from within the game. Aspects are a terrible design choice and they are overly oppressive in terms of cost scarity and flat out design. You will need these aspects and put them onto rare pieces of gear to proceed in the game. Many of the good aspects are only random drops you would likely need to pay to extract, pay to place on a item, and then when you replace that item in the next 10 minutes you would need to find another aspect as you cant use the one you extracted more than once. Due to recent patch barb and sorc are unplayable. Necromancer the class pictured everywhere as a summoner is a class that does not work at all because minions are so terrible the ai on them is bad, they dont have colliders to block for you so enemies just walk past them and hit you. The ai is terrible for them. The damage is terrible for them. Necro only survives via bone spear build and that was recently nerfed as well. Blizzard has made it clear they don't care about making a fun game. Diablo 4 is just a battle pass and in game store receptacle to drain blizz simps of their money. They have no interest in making a fun/interesting game for the average person.… Expand

    Despite having some moderate amount of "fun" during the beta, the full game turned out exactly as i predicted based on my experience with how modern Blizzard does video games - a polished turd. They baited the public, then balanced every last drop of fun from the game and turned it into a tedious, and ultimately pointless rat maza grind.

Considering the price at which the game was sold, R$350 (which is outrageously expensive in Brazil), being constantly bombarded with the paid battle pass is frustrating. It should be separate.     There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
