    dev team hates you and youre time. i recommend this game for a masochist. Gj with the game blizzard gj feels like you want to quit your job and is taking it out on the playerbase. 1.1 patch is pure ****

Horse gets interrupted by every mob that decides to look at you. The is no real new content for the season. Game is a f joke right now.     Waited 13 years for this. Was good at release. Then nothing but nerfs to fun. The campfire chat discussing the upcoming v1.1 patch was complete nonsense. They didn't follow through with most of the quality of life improvements that they promised. They also specifically stated that season 1 would feature super OP builds and i thought, **** that sounds like a blast. Instead, the patchWaited 13 years for this. Was good at release. Then nothing but nerfs to fun. The campfire chat discussing the upcoming v1.1 patch was complete nonsense. They didn't follow through with most of the quality of life improvements that they promised. They also specifically stated that season 1 would feature super OP builds and i thought, **** that sounds like a blast. Instead, the patch provided literally the complete opposite...nerfs to all classes across the board along with a significant increase to grinding everything we already did over the last 2 months. Not to mention, those last 2 months seem wasted considering we spent significant time & gold, farming specific gear affixes just for them to go ahead and nerf all of that gear building to the point that it all must be redone. The sorcerer is also useless at this point. So yeh, pointless/repetitive grinding, gear-killing nerfs, and meta class seasons. Everything that ruined Destiny 2...what a let down, man.… Expand

    I created a metacritic account just to post about how unhappy these changes and updates make me as a casual gamer. Being able to play only a few hours a week makes it hard enough to progress without the devs nerfing basically everything I can do to feel some sense of progression on my already useless build (sorc main - RIP).

    Grindy unrewarding game with boring loot. Devs killed what little fun there was by slowing down skills, combat, and leveling to artificially keep you playing longer in order to push their seasonal microtransaction journey. Wish I could get a refund, do not recommend.

    My first game ever was Diablo 1, my uncles gifted it to me as a kid and I always thank him for that, even remind it to him just right before Diablo 4 release, that said, I always stuck with Diablo no matter if the release was good or not, bought every single one of the games, BUT sadly this is my last, had a good time for over two decades on every release now it’s time to move on.

    The game was pretty fun if a bit slow paced compared to older titles in the series, but Blizzard have decided that fun is not allowed and you are not to have a good time with this game. Exp nerfed, survivabity nerfed, fun factor nerfed, Helltides unplayable, For **** Sake they nerfed how long it takes to exit a **** dungeon. I wanted to love this game and I really was having fun but I am done.

    Too many items affixes contributes to an overall feeling of the game being a slog to work through. Updates have excerabated the issue as they've added yet more affixes and lowered exp rates.

    I literally made an account just to write the review here because they do the same crap with every game, every expansion, every release.

    You CAN'T even buy a premium battle pass if you purchased the 100$ version that came with an accelerated battle pass because the game FORCES you to use it, even though Blizzard explicitly said you can save it for later seasons!

    Sure you can, but if you do you CAN'T get the premium battle pass because the game forces you to use the accelerated battle past first!

    The 1.1.0 patch completely gutted the game, and it was so widely hated they had to do an emergency livestream the following friday just to try and quell the backlash.

    This has been ONE of the BIGGEST flops i've ever seen, honestly.
    I don't know how they dropped the ball this hard, how they're so out of touch with their community.

    I created an account just to say I agree with people saying that Blizzard is totally out of touch with what gamers want. After releasing the patch, I have decided to stop playing the game. It is no longer fun to me. I thought that's what I was paying for but apparently not.

    Most boring diablo game ever. Ive played every blizzard game ever made, starting with warcraft 1. Played all diablo games (was one of first players in the US to 100 paragon in diablo 3). I must say i was hyped for d4, preordered ultimate once it was available and im starting to regret doing that. I died with an eternal character at lvl 82 on hardcore and my progress transferred over to aMost boring diablo game ever. Ive played every blizzard game ever made, starting with warcraft 1. Now with season 1 my progress didnt transfer over to the seasonal character because blizzard programmers decided to put in trash mechanics where you have to log in with a character to have your progress transfer over (Wtf). Cant do that with a dead character so it seems i have to grind all altars and renown all over again. Game is trash, endgame is trash, season 1 is trash and battlepass is trash. You grind for no reason and theres no reason to make new characters, also where are set items ?… Expand

    Game is “supported” by a dev team that doesn’t support its casual OR hardcore gaming community. Latest pre season 1 patch made a slow game with minimal end game content and annoying QOL an even slower game with no additions to end game or better QOL. At least some decent titles from other studios will be released soon to take its place

    I've given the blizzard team all the benefits. I've defended them and encouraged others to buy the game. But with this season they lost me. Everything about this is horrible. No QoL improvements. We got no carrots, only sticks with Diablo 4

    想不到入手遊玩不到一個月時間, 一個更新就把公測的內容全部推翻掉
    已來不及退費不然我一定要退費

The game world's depth is shallow as hell with no real engaging moments aside from the very brief moments of the campaign itself which was only playable once.     Basically you pay 70euros for a game that requires you to start a new character every 3 months, otherwise you wont be able to enjoy the new content. I dont have the time to grind 8 hours a day, i built my character to lvl 78 on what is now eternal realm, which became useless with the season 1.     So all in all the content of the Season 1 is:
    -Battlepass
    -Ingame Shop

    -> increasing player retention without adding new content
    -> increased player retention -> bigger profit

    Blizzard is completely out of touch with their own game. The most recent patch makes the game less fun. They don’t understand the mechanics of the game, resistances don’t work, Sorcerers are completely unplayable after the patch and were handicapped before it. The itemization is terrible, the aspects and affixes are convoluted and not fun.

    Lazy work on developer, unable to balance the actual issue so instead they nerf the overall game make ông playing experience almost unbearable. All the feedbacks from customers were ignored, the class that actually need help were nerfed to the ground. Developers were so out of touch with the game to the point of incompetent, too lazy of playing the actual game to know the exact problem.

    They continue to ignore player feedback and refuse to address obvious problems with the game. This game is under-developed, un-polished, and designed to waste your time. The game was released with lack of content, so they nerfed everything to the ground slowing player progression and then expect everyone to believe that wasn't the intention. We aren't the cash cow idiots you think we are.

The cost of rebuilding your character to try new things is only possible if you, once again play 10+hours a day and even then is just ridiculous. They had 3 previous games to build off of but decided they wanted to shoot for a more AARPG/MMO style game but then start taking out multiplayer aspects because they decided a small percent of players are leveling too fast and shining a spotlight on the fact they biffed the endgame? So the decision was to make leveling even worse for others so they dont have a chance to get there?     I created this account just to say I that I don't like this game. I loved d2 and d3. I'm not saying those were perfect games but I loved playing them.

    I find d4 to be unplayable. I enjoy a little grind and a little struggle when to best a boss but what is in d4 is too much. I don't have the time or the patience for it.

    It was a waste of money.

    i played a Sorc, they new of multiple bugs with them and simply stated they would not be fixing them for about 6 months (around the release of season 2) to ignore a class outright like that, then a major patch destroying what little defense they had as well as the only form of damage they had made the ONLY enjoyable class unplayable at high end, 1-50 easy but i can no longer farm NMD 85s,i played a Sorc, they new of multiple bugs with them and simply stated they would not be fixing them for about 6 months (around the release of season 2) to ignore a class outright like that, then a major patch destroying what little defense they had as well as the only form of damage they had made the ONLY enjoyable class unplayable at high end, 1-50 easy but i can no longer farm NMD 85s, i struggle in NMD 50s now, that patch was near sighted and Activision made it clear, blizzard is no more… Expand

    No, you didn't sit down and think.

    You go on the air and say 'what we did was not fun'. It's a joke. Did you see patching as your own fun? How can you release a patch so thoughtlessly. There are dozens of issues, dozens of problems.

Same cosmetic just a little diff for ppl who paid. Lame. Shop is the same stuff just shuffled around and definitely need a better designer lol poe had the right idea. Completely bored at this point and I get I whizzed through it and it's not where most ppl are at but ppl like me are the ones who continue to play it and have been. Quality of like stuff is redic. From gems to let's just teleport you OUTSIDE the dungeon lol ffs. The horse -_- rework the hell out of that. Paragon reset plz. Per square and a all at once. I could keep going but all these years waiting to be handed soemthing where I get stuck by invisible walls and things truly aren't thought out. Sad to say a polished turd. Btw the music doesn't stuck like d2 does . Anyways just disappointed and after the huge patch and the lack of humility and questions awnsered in the campfire.     I officially uninstalled this game. Both campfires were garbage and talk about a philosophy that doesn't exist in game. Longevity of the game?     The game is super grindy if you want to do a chore just go do yard work you will probably hate life just as much but you'll get something out of it! Season 1 ruined everything

    The games state and lack of content (even after the upcomming 1.1.1 patch) really reflects how you as the consumer paid 90 USD/EUR for a game in beta stage. The game isnt ready for release for atleast 9-15 months. Shame on Activision.

    There's a fair bit to like about Diablo IV — best-in-class sound design, intriguing character classes, fantastic graphics and occasionally addictive gameplay all feel like the series in its prime. However, even the best parts are let down by an undercurrent of frustrating design choices: the cynical inclusion of a Battle Pass, a bloated open world, repetitive mission structure and progression that too often feels meaningless cast a long shadow that let the latest Diablo title down. Future Seasons may refine what's here, but many of its issues sadly feel baked into the core experience. All but the most die-hard fans may wish to wait for a substantial sale on this one.

    The visuals are probably what excited me the most. The way the game looks and the atmosphere makes me feel like I'm playing the old Diablo again. On steroids and on a quadruple screen TV, but the feeling is still there. [Issue#328]
