Nov 17, 2017Overall: A great game if you also happen to enjoy casinos.
Gameplay: Fun, fast-paced, exciting
Visuals: Great! The world is immersive and really takes you to the places in the SW universe.
Sound Design: Perfect.
The team at Dice really outdid themselves. If it wasn't for EA trying to suck each and every last dollar out of their customers, this game might have actually done well. -

Nov 17, 2017Not all of us will fall for your nasty tricks EA. I'm tired of gaming companies putting all of this time into and game and then ruining what could be great, for money.

Nov 17, 2017Heavily pushed micro-transactions in a pay to win loot based system reminiscent of Free to play mobile games that no one enjoys. This is where gaming is headed. We need to show developers that we WILL NOT stand for this. It's disgusting that a full price, AAA game is pay to win with such a heavy emphasis on loot. DO NOT PURCHASE/ SUPPORT THIS GREEDY BEHAVIOR.

Nov 17, 2017This game is a 0. That simple. Everything said about this game is what i have to say but its been said enough. Dont support this crap. Bad business practices. Bad pr. Bad grind. Unfinished campaign. Pay 2 win. Bad game

Nov 17, 2017EA has ruined gaming. It's ridiculous they they are allowed to get away with this type of stuff. They need to hear the voices of the gamers. I'm glad their stocks are falling.

Nov 17, 2017A travesty for the gaming industry.
Totally Pay to win like a mobile game. It's a shame, because this game had potential, Dice is a great studio, but the greedy cash garbing publisher EA made it pay to win.
I hope this will not bleed into the Battlefield franchise. -
Nov 17, 2017You are the pandemonium and soulless people who are responsible for implementing the slides and mechanics P2W. May all this be a lesson to you that we are not idiots. And I will be sure to play every next game from you

Nov 17, 2017Shameless cash-in to exploit consumers. EA is a predator. Do not buy this game. Disney needs to do the right thing and take the Star Wars license back and give it to a company that will not shart in its consumers' faces.

Nov 17, 2017I have just seen a fully upgraded Darth Vader in-game. The player played like absolute garbage and also seemed to lag a bit and he still mowed down so many enemies. They were like NPCs ( Non player characters aka non paying customers) This is the worst game design I have seen in like forever... Good job EA, you reeeeeaally nailed this one
-
Nov 17, 2017Beautiful game, with great campaign! Multiplayer is awesome and I was able to unlock every hero in just a few hours. Cost nothing extra just score points to upgrade! Great game

Nov 17, 2017infested with gambling boxes which ruin an average game. Disney should know better than to encourage gambling to children.
One of the worst Pay to win game yet. DO NOT BUY. Do not support Ea and Disney's attempt to get Minors hooked on this gambling simulator. -
Nov 17, 2017I played the beta and it was a fun and beautiful game that looked to be a true successor to the classic Battlefront games. But then EA just had to come in and **** everything up, so I just wanted to post this review to say **** EA and **** their greedy practices. They won't be getting a single cent from me and I encourage everybody to vote with their wallets on this one.

Nov 17, 2017I never expected less comming from EA, The moneymakers. This is just sad, if we dont say something this kind of games will continuously go on.
This **** lootboxes is like a virtual casino, gamers are not cumpulsive gamblers, or at least the sensible ones.
Stop buying lootcrates, and just refound games like that. Its the only way of dealing with this enterprises. -

Nov 17, 2017a game completely destroyed by the abysmal practices of the developer, im sorry for dice , but ea is garbage
thanks for scaming the star wars fanbase -
Nov 17, 2017Micro transaction has gone too far in the gaming industry, this needs to be put to a stop and only the gamers can make this happen. Do not support EA and their money hungry business practice, it all started with monopolizing the NFL with it's Madden franchise and now this. It'll only get worse before it gets better but it doesn't mean it can't start now.

Nov 17, 2017The P2W progression system carelessly shoved into the core of this game is the prime example of everything wrong with EA's business model and the direction of the gaming industry in general. I wish I could give the game a negative rating, but 0 will have to do. Do not buy this game if you have any integrity whatsoever.
-
Nov 17, 2017Just do not buy it, dont support EA
If we continue to buy games for $ 60 with microtransactions, then it will only get worse
Sorry for DICE, but we need to fight with corporate greed -
Nov 17, 2017Loot boxes and "micro-transactions" are absolutely unacceptable in an $60 AAA game. Keep that sh*t for the free mobile games. This could be a good game, but EA's greed ruins it all, and don't believe that micro-transactions are gone. They are gonna come back and in greater numbers.

Nov 17, 2017Microtransactions galore. Loot boxes encourage your kid to spend additional money. This is a money grabbing attempt by EA. If you dont want your kids spending $2,000 on your credit cards dont buy this gambling emulator.

Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 6, 2018Excellent online action offers hours of Stormtooper-shooting fun, but the so-so campaign stumbles, while cynical loot crates leave a sour taste. [Jan 2017, p.83]

Jan 21, 2018Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.

Dec 29, 2017Although game has huge problems with p2w microtransactions, it is still a good and fun gameplay experience with stunning visuals.
