    Because it's gorgeous, because I love this music, characters and atmosphere. If you think that you are SW fan, buy it instantly. If you are not, keep thinking that the cards can help a good gamer kill you every time in the game.

    When I pay a full price, I expect a full game. Having to buy lootboxes to be able to play all the characters? What kind of disrespect towards players is it! I can't believe such an amazing franchise is being stained by EAs dirty hands. Disney, give your franchise to a competent development studio instead!

    Setting a progress mechanism which led company's marketing team to humiliatingly begging players to buy the game is way worse than implementing IAPs. Boycott the game, support human dignity.

    Best Mobile Game of the year

    The game is grate, the sound, the graphics, the atmosphere are spot on Star Wars but bringing micro-transactions and transforming a AAA title into a pay to win game is disappointing. The PVE game mode has a credits cap and this makes it more like a mobile gae than a AAA title.     60$ free to play game which is medicore even after putting microtransactions and lootboxes aside. Gameplay gets boring after couple hours and campaing is joke. At least it looks graphically beautiful sometimes.

    I love the MP, but sadly it is the only thing to love. SP misses the beat by taking the "story" to the wrong direction and we can only hope DLC takes it further and surprises us. Plus SP is used to make you want to buy loot crates.. They totally missed the potential of making Star Wars cannon story! IDIOTS. In MP the loot crates can create an unfair advantage, but overall I wouldn´t takeI love the MP, but sadly it is the only thing to love.     This is an absolutely abysmal experience with an incomplete campaign mode (which was also falsely advertised as a major selling point in the game’s trailers.) and a microtransaction centric multiplayer, the game uses such an insidious psychological manipulation system that it has warranted an investigation from a European Gambling Commission. Do not purchase this game under any circumstances.

    A truly great playing experience, loot boxes barely matter in game.

    Everyone is hugely focused on the hero's and loot boxes so let me forget that first: You will only spend about 10% of your time as a hero in most game modes, even if you top the leader boards every game... They are fun but they are fluff. Playing as the troopers themselves is a near perfect experience. Even the basic    A truly great playing experience, loot boxes barely matter in game.

Playing as the troopers themselves is a near perfect experience. Even the basic out the box no upgrade trooper is a force to be reckoned with sand hugely fun to play.

    Loot boxes are not a huge issue for me because you earn enough in game credits to grab a couple of boxes a day at least and the currency between the worst version of a card and the best is VERY small. So ignore the corporate greed and enjoy.

    Now as for the gameplay experience itself, well, it's fantastic. Great graphics, detailed environments, atmospheric sound and adaptable classes make for intense and addictive gameplay every game.    … Expand

    Three words for the low score....... Micro transactions Greed. the fact that the game is locked behind a timed paywall for earning credits is just absurd.

    Voto più che altro di protesta contro le microtransazioni e l'online sfrenato che ormai le industrie videoludiche fanno. Sarebbe ora di tornare a giocare come prima, più single player, più gioco pratico e meno online e microtransazioni inutili mirate a fregare più soldi possibili alla gente per farla divertire, paghi già 70 euro il gioco e per vincere o ci perdi 1 anno intero o paghi eVoto più che altro di protesta contro le microtransazioni e l'online sfrenato che ormai le industrie videoludiche fanno.     The game is fantastic, looks absolutely amazing, plays really well and can really be its own thing, separate from Battlefield.

    Giving it a 0 is not in my interest, I fully agree that the practices with the loot boxes ruins certain aspects of the game and makes progression feel distant and even unfair at certain points.

    Still, great game, fun to play!

    An appropriate analogy for this product is a soft and comfy bed layered by a blanked of needles. Deep down there is a good game here but it has been absolutely absorbed by greedy practices by the developer.

    Good game corrupted by a malicious company set out to rob us through micro-transactions. EA have been getting away with this for years and a boycotting of battlefront will help our voices be heard.

    This is Pay2win ! Pay2Win is an absolute deal killer for me no matter how small the microtransaction. I'm disappointed because I was really looking forward to this release for awhile. Definitely will not waste my money or time encouraging this sort of gaming design. It's nauseating.

    Fantastic game big improvement to 2015 battlefront loot boxes nothing wrong with it, just getting negative reviews because some don’t it’s better than season pass......

    If a free-to-play model is being used, the core game should be free. Triple-A games are moving away from being "games of skill" to being "games of chance" or "pay to win". This is sad.

    Urgh. Beautiful game so I gave it a 1 for the graphics but, just like many others had told me, it's pay to win.

    Luckily I played it on my friend's console so I didn't waste my money. Don't waste yours either.

    On the up side, I just finished The Evil Within 2. That was great. And I didn't have to pay to win! Buy that game instead!

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
