    buggy, lootboxes, not fun, poor gun and swordpl... i mean sabreplay. its not good at all. in fact, battlefront 1 was better. and battlefront 1 was severely lacking in content

    Disappointed with the lack of content in the game, me and my brother beat everything in the game in one day. Literally one day, we played for like 4-5 hours and beat the campaign and every mission in single player and co-op. Also I was let down by the fact that there was more maps because most of the maps are tiny and restricted. Not only single player but also in multiplayer the maps are small.

    This game is another example of EA earning there worse company in America award. Loot boxes are the aids of gamers now and the lube of unethical companies who use it to grease there palms and throw crap after crap our way.

    This is not a game. It's a microtransaction storefront wrapped in pretty Star Wars graphics. Do not buy this $60 trash or support EA's unethical exploitation.

    Pay to win is the death of games. If this continues, this game will be remembered as the beginning of the true death of the customer. EA is a gross, greedy monster that needs to be destroyed. Boycott this game to ensure they change their ways in the future.

    This is how a good game with a big franchise can become so trash by the greedy of the company, it hurts as a fan of star wars and a shame to REALLY enjoy a fully game experience need to pay more than 2000.00 in lootboxes for a full complete game with all the features. . As a gamer and fan of star wars this game deserve a 0.9 as much.

    It started with skins, we accepted season passes. We accepted premium and we accepted games to be broken and fixed 2 years after. This is the one step too far that will break EA for good.

    Just look at it. We got Battleifield 1 still broken after 1 year. We got NFS Payback which is the most bland and boring game the world has ever seen and now we got a game that behaves more like a    It started with skins, we accepted season passes.     while the graphics are amazing, the multiplayer is ruined by the fact that it is pay to win. EA has stated that you do not gain a noticeable advantage when opening loot crates with real money. This is far from the truth, multiple star cards affect attributes similar to "aim assist." These advantages should not be in a AAA title.

    Im sick and tired of EA crap politics towards gaming community. This game deserves to die in pain and so do EA. Im giving it a score of 0 ( Sub-Zero ) because it is insult to any normal human. Is this a next level of leaching $$$ ?! Buy a game,buy a season pass and we finally get final puzzle called pay-to-win in multiplayer oriented game. No more ! Refund initiated !

The graphics looks cool and the game is DECENT and playable, but Nothing More. EA is killing the industry.

    It's the most Star Wars experience I have had since playing with my Kenner figures as a kid. Phenomenal gameplay and graphics. There's so much to do. Lots to unlock without spending a penny on crates. Just started single-player and the new protagonist is a bad ass.

    Am I in love with the crate system? No, but it's largely peripheral, just like crates in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer.     1) Boring, disjointed single player campaign. Also, it takes about 4 hours to complete. Shooter single player campaigns are short, but this may be a new record. 2) Gunplay is poor. I'd take a Destiny, CoD, Battlefield, etc, over the gunplay in this game without hesitation. 3) Map design mechanics are poor. Take Galactic Assault.     3) Map design mechanics are poor. Take Galactic Assault. It's this huge map, but they artificially constrain you into a small part of it at a time. And, it's a different constraint for each side, so players can shoot you and you can't reach them because the game will tell you to turn around (this is mostly beneficial to Specialists who snipe). It's an absurd game design that also prevents flanking maneuvers and makes these 20 v 20 battles nothing but funneled, linear, zerg rush like head to head battering rams.

    3) No character customization. No choice in gender. No skins. Nada. Zip.

    4) Progression via lootboxes. This alone should make this game a 0. But, the game itself is pretty mediocre even without this terrible progression system.

    Anyone who purchases this game is akin to those people who supported the Nazis because at least their flags looked pretty.    … Expand

    Buried underneath a purely greed driven progression and loot system is a great game. It's sad to see a game like this, offering an unparalleled Star Wars experience, overshadowed by the worst microtransaction scheme I have ever seen. Not even FREE to play mobile games are this bad. I wish so badly that EA would have just left the sterling reputation and legacy of Star Wars alone -- goBuried underneath a purely greed driven progression and loot system is a great game.     Pay to Play. No thanks, older games are better. EA and Square Enix should join up for Final Fantasy 16. Tabata probably thinks everyone has a Star Wars disease and that is the reason for the bad reviews.

    I love star wars but this game is just ridiculous. I'll start buying EA/DICE titles again when they stop with their stupid business model. The game it self runs pretty well and it would have been a nice addition to my library but I really cannot stand all they did with it. Don't buy this game.

    I feel like we're nearing the end of video games. Microtransactions have gone far enough and I urge anyone, even if you're a true fan whose dedicated his/her life to Star Wars, to not pay a penny on this game, and not even if it is free.

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
