    Probably the most refined combat system in any game. You'll struggle early on, but when the combat finally clicks you'll enjoy the hell out of it.

    One of the best games i have ever played. It just takes a lot of patience and practice to get good at it, but its definitely worth it. Get this game if you are ready to spend a good amount of time on it.

    Sekiro is a game for players that want a real challenge.Probably one of the greatest and most challenging games i have ever played. The enemies and the boss fights are amazing. Even though i died a lot on the bosses, i didn't really mind it, because the gameplay was so much fun. The feeling you get when you make progress on a hard boss is amazing. If you have not played the game yet, youSekiro is a game for players that want a real challenge.Probably one of the greatest and most challenging games i have ever played. The enemies and the boss fights are amazing. Even though i died a lot on the bosses, i didn't really mind it, because the gameplay was so much fun.     Overall, Sekiro is an amazing game and is truly a master piece at its core you just need patience and determination to overcome all the challenges it puts in your way. This game is a 10/10 no question about it.

    This game looks beautiful, plays amazingly well, and has a really cool story and setting. But be warned, I have played all the Dark Souls games, and did not have too much trouble getting through and beating all the bosses. Even all the side bosses and DLC. But Sekrio is so much harder than any Souls game i've played i was genuinely surprised.     In order to see the beauty of the game you have to fight for it and earn it. If you have this attitude then this is the game for you. As I expected, the graphics are gorgeous, the music is amazing, the story is brilliant, and the play style is fantastic! On top of that it's challenging but rewarding!

    Anyway, this is a great game from the devs of the SoulsBorne series, the combat is satisfying and the difficulty isn't too bad, if you learn how the game works and how the fights should play out. I highly recommend checking this game out if you're a fan of the 'Soulslike' genre, although it all comes down to personal preference.

    Very fun game.....makes you smile all the time and laugh a lot till you have tears in your eyes. I'm very close to completing the game now. Ooh the joy of fighting bosses and those cute mini bosses. If you find a giant bell, just RING IT!!!! Yes I love this game a lot. Totally recommended!!!

    One of my favorite Fromsoft games, VERY close to bloodborne and dks1 in the run for my favorite
    they raised the already sky-high bar for combat and level design the game also manages to be harder than the souls games while not feeling unfair (to me, at least) at any point.

    After 3 playthroughs and 100 hours of playing I can safely say that this game is great and worth your money. The most fun thing about Sekiro is the combat especially in boss fights when you start getting into the rhythm and the flow of the combat, it feels so satisfying.

    From Software have and never will disappoint me. This game makes me feel POWERFUL. As a From Soft veteran the initial challenge was simply learning the control scheme, afterwards from that i was not prepared for the intense and epic battles, the evolved puzzles, and the branching story with 4 different ending all requiring you to set out and do different things in your playthrough.     This game is amazingly fun and frustrating at the same time. The frustration comes from the difficulty which is expected. Unlike the SoulsBorne games, this is a new type of combat system along with a heavier focus on the story. You will be disappointed going into this thinking OH its a japanese style dark souls.

    Just all-round exceptional game, a masterpiece, plain and simple. Well deserved GOTY award.
    Was pleasantly surprised that it's not just a weird souls-like with jumps and grappling hooks set in feudal Japan, but a completely new experience that plays differently in every major aspect. Hope it will do what Souls games have achieved and will define a new sub-genre.

    Wow. Another soulslike, but better than all that came before. Though the story is not as developed as in other titles (like in Bloodborne), the combat really shines. Fights are faster then ever, which makes it intimidating at first, but being good at deflecting enemy strikes feels that much better.

    Very challenging, very unique combat, super intriguing story, great visuals and awesome gameplay. All around a fantastic game, you're gonna want to play with a controller however. Otherwise you will have an awful time. But yah sick game in all aspects.

    I went from hating this game because it was too hard to being so obsessed with it that I 100% it. Give the game a chance. The fighting is tough but it is like a dance, you just have to learn the moves. You are missing out on one of the best games ever made if you give up.

Once you master the combat it'll feel satisfying and you'll be slashing through this game as smooth as butter. Beautiful story with beautiful sceneries.     Good combat system that feels refreshingly different to the Souls series. It's great going toe to toe with a human-sized, sword wielding opponent, and trading blows and blocks for sometimes minutes on end. It really captures that sword-fight feeling.

    Very good game I love the way that you actually do sword fight with strong bosses that can block and parry you're attacks and they all have something unique to them with special move that go alongside with using the sword. And then there MONKE which the first phase of it was hard because he was not using a sword compared to his second phase which was much easier because he was.     Was never a fan of souls-like games, but this game is just clicked for me and it's a masterpiece. Bosses are difficult yet enjoyable and very rarely do I feel like a boss is simply unbeatable because I don't have the right-build or items. It was entirely skill based.

    So rewarding, it's the feeling you'll get from this game after you face your wall of enemies you thought you couldn't beat, from mobs, to mini-bosses up to bosses... and just when you thought you are the Sekiro God, they throw you the final boss to wipe your @ss for you clean!!! Hands down one of the best final bosses ever made, glad i picked it up after sleeping on it for years.

    The moves in fights are incredible, and when you are doing the final attack to finish the enemy, that animation with sword and blood is fantastic. Also, fight with almost every boss is so exciting, their moves and animation while you are fighting is something which can’t be described with words, you can only feel it when you are playing.     Great game. Don't let the difficulty put you off. Gorgeous graphics and exceptionally well designed stages and gameplay. The first playthrough will always be the hardest but most memorable.

    The best in the souls series. In my opinion its got a few of the hardest boss fights in souls games. Such a well designed game. Combat is fluid and intriguing, the world is beautiful. I have beat the story twice on console and had to start it again PC. If you love the souls like genre, you should try this one.

Solid gameplay, fluid mechanics and fairness. That's right, above anything else Sekiro is fair. Above all else what makes Sekiro so great is the gradual improvement you make. You keep grinding, keep getting hit,Until i perfected my craft. What makes Sekiro so great you ask? The atmosphere. The beautiful environment, the music and the folk lore inspired story. Not something you care about? Solid gameplay, fluid mechanics and fairness. That's right, above anything else Sekiro is fair. Above all else what makes Sekiro so great is the gradual improvement you make. You keep grinding, keep getting hit, keep losing and dying until you figure out all the patterns, all moves and you can see how much better you become. The first playthrough I died well over 1000 times. Second plythrough I died maybe 500 times. And then a little less, a little less, until finally I just started speedrunning it.… Expand

I thought I lost the ability to rage at a game after I beat Manus, until this game (no Gael and Midir were simply fun fights that I purely enjoyed, Nameless King too while we're at it)    Pros:

    - BBCs that can kill you
    - Doors do not open from this side
    - Bonfires and estus flask
    - Sword clanks
    - Difficulty settings (hard-harder-HARDER)

    A marvelous game. It can be brutal at times, but the feeling of beating a tough but reasonably fair boss is great. Truly a fitting follow-up to fromsoft's soulsborne series.

    The hardest game I've ever played in my entire life, but the combat system is so satisfying to use. all in all a must play. i had no experience with any souls-like game until I played this, and it was an amazing introduction to this genre of games. will definitely be replaying this one a couple of times, for sure.

    El único inconveniente es: es muy difícil de dominar, necesitas parar ataques y tener un ojo en el medidor de postura que en la barra de salud, y un par de videos de youtube te ayudarán a pasar etapas. Los diferentes jefes tienen diferentes formas de vencerlos, solo necesitan ver esos    ¡Dios mío, qué historia y gran juego de acción es!

    I'm glad that they made the story easier to follow in this compared to the Dark Souls games. The story is great but goes on for a while. The gameplay is more difficult in some ways and less in others.

    Shadow falls, and things return to their original owners. Adoptive father owl in Longquan River's backstab, but can't make an immortal contract between Yuzi and Wolf, while in Tianshouge Wolf backstab adopted adoptive father owl, which broke the immortal plan of adoptive father owl.

Second time I actually played the game after having some experience, it's challenging: until you get the hang of the bosses moves and counter often. 3rd play through is easy: you'll have mastered countering and see how repetitive the bosses are. 4th play through was a spreed run for me. 5th run I got bored of being OP. This is a stealth action game where running away and finding ambush and vantage point to whittle down the enemies numbers rewards you more than swinging your sword till things die. This game rewards patience alot more than brazen fighting ability. As a lover of the stealth genre it's painful tio watch players stand on the top of a building with a huge vantage point that allows you to scope out the area and plan you attack just jump into the middle of four to five enemies yelling that the game is too hard.     Very good game. in a lot of ways better than the dark souls series. It is very fast paced, combat relies on black and countering and this is done very quickly and needs to be precise. The ability to jump, and grapple around is a lot of fun. It a lot of ways this game is a mixture of assassins creed, and the dark souls games.

    This the most authentic depiction of shinobi or ninja, well at least better than naruto. The game demands just one thing, attention and reflexes. In dark souls or BB your success depended on builds but here its just you and your katana. Thats all you need to master.     Amazing game one of my favorites. Combat it beautiful and simple yet never gets tired. Prosthetics are an amazing tool and it seems like every enemy and boss has a specific counter. There are multiple skill trees and each ability you get changes your character a significant amount. Each skill changes the way you play or approach a fight. Yes it's difficult to play but the feeling of reward I got from beating bosses who I've been battling for hours(sometimes days) is so satisfying. You have to literally go into this game with the mindset of a professional boxer. There is going to be a lot of rounds to fight(expect to die a LOT)and you'll need to get good at studying yourThis is one of the best games I've played in a while. Yes it's difficult to play but the feeling of reward I got from beating bosses who I've been battling for hours(sometimes days) is so satisfying. You have to literally go into this game with the mindset of a professional boxer. There is going to be a lot of rounds to fight(expect to die a LOT)and you'll need to get good at studying your opponents, looking for weaknesses, and exploiting those weaknesses in a careful and timely manner. This game is chess not checkers. You also have to be a glutton for punishment in playing this as well. This isn't one of those games that will ask you if you want to decrease the difficulty because you keep getting manhandled by a boss or mini boss. You died? Too bad. Go back and try again. This game is THAT much of a savage. Those who gave this a 1 star review either thought it would be like something else entirely or just aren't built to tackle a truly challenging game experience. They want their hands held like childern and be able to beat a game easily. I played this game for 5 and a half months and got the most rewarding platinum trophy in my ps4 collection.… Expand

    Nisam ljubitelj Fromsoftware igara jer imaju presporo i nespretno upravljanje. Sjekira je izgledala previše dobro da bi se prošlo pa je tako. Kontrole su stroge i super brze. Ovo je teška igra, ali nije strašno ako ste akcijski igrač.

    Amazing game. I have an all encompassing obsession with it at the moment. Hell, even Helen Keller would have been able to see what is going on here.Now onto 100% 'íng this baby.     Starting Sekiro felt like starting Dark Souls 1 for the first time. It was frustrating at first, but in the end I loved it.
    The combat rhythm is so unique and so satisfying. And ultimately it made the boss fights feel the most "Fair" of any From Soft game. The rules of engagement must be learned, but    After BB and D1-3, souls games had become comfortable. Still challenging, but familiar.

    A common occurrence for me would be to struggle on a boss for hours on end, and then have one fight where it just clicks and I would take almost no damage before landing the final killing blow.
    There were a couple fights were I would win with a sliver of health left, but almost all of the bosses are posture-based fights and would resolve once I got into that flow. (A distinction that you'll understand quickly once playing).To me this is From Soft saying: hey folks, this is how you do souls-like. They've made an incredible game. And for those willing to put in the hours its an incredible fight.    … Expand

    I hate this game so much, it racks my brain i can't think straight but I need to play more of it otherwise i fear my skills will dull and i won't be able to enjoy the game anymore. Damn you fromsoft.

    Unlike traditional souls games, the clunk factor in Sekiro is pretty much non existent. I can only think of one mini boss, in which there are two types of them, that has a certain air of clunkiness to them. Beyond that, the gameplay is definitely smooth and fluid. The graphics are good, the music is decent, the story and lore are interesting.

    Finally beat the game after 43 hours. One of the most difficult games I ever played. Frustrating at times, but a great gaming experience overall. Beautiful world, great combat, tons of replayability value.

    Overall, Sekiro is defined by its riveting, challenging, and ultimately highly rewarding gameplay. Stemming from simplicity but giving a wide variety of different combat options, few games come close to matching the exhilarating rush that Sekiro’s best moments provide. Exploring its atmospherically engrossing levels is a treat, from a visual, musical, and atmospheric standpoint. Even if exploration and character storylines are sometimes hampered by Dragonrot, repeatedly severing the immortality of bosses with brutal “Shinobi Executions” and discovering the ritual secrets of eternal life offers a captivating experience that stands out as one of FromSoftware’s best and most distinctive titles.

    Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an enjoyable, yet deeply challenging game. It's not really a Dark Souls with samurais game, but whether or not you enjoyed the difficulty level of the battles in Dark Souls will be a good benchmark in gauging how much you'll like Sekiro. If you're persistent, up for a challenge, and don't become frustrated easily, then Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an easy game to recommend.

    Though Sekiro feels impossibly hard at times, the level of euphoria you experience when delivering a death blow to a tricky boss or when you finally clear a castle grounds of all enemies is almost unparalleled.
