Jun 20, 2021After mastering the game's mechanics and 100%-ing it, I can say that Sekiro is one of the unique games out there. It has fluid gameplay and good story. Game has a high skill curve because of the many variations in bosses/enemies. The game was unforgiving on my first run, but as I go NG+ again and again (5th time) the game is just a walk in a park now.

Jun 20, 2021Amazing game. I have an all encompassing obsession with it at the moment. Hell, even Helen Keller would have been able to see what is going on here.
-
Jun 20, 2021Has some differences from souls. I have beaten every Soulsborne game aside form Demon's Souls and I can say it is unique. You have more focus on breaking posture than just killing the enemy. In other words posture damage is more important than raw damage you deal, because it grants a critical hit which replaces the riposte attack. It is beautiful and there are some really tough mini-bosses.
-
Jun 20, 2021Another masterpiece by FromSoftware. The game has some of the best combat, story, music, and world design and boss fights in the last decade.
-
Jun 20, 2021What a wonderful game I get to beat up several old men. 10/10 would beat them again.
-
Jun 20, 2021A vicious battle dance game of positioning and quick reflexes. Astounding combat and encounter design. A must play for any action game fan.
-
Jun 20, 2021I've played Dark Souls, I've played Dark Souls 2, and when Dark Souls 3 came around I felt confident in my abilities and the game was easier because of it. So naturally I thought with my experience in those games that Sekiro would be a cake walk...
-
Jun 20, 2021Sekiro is FromSoftware upping their game. This is an evolution of the souls series in terms of cinematic game-play. The swordplay is, in my humble opinion, the best any game has ever offered. The traversal feels great. The bosses are some of the hardest, most rage inducing and most fun bosses in any game. The game has very strict rules though. And every death is your fault.
-
Jun 20, 2021Mikiri Counter Simulator Game of the Year Edition... Japanese darks souls part 2.
-
Jun 20, 2021My Favorite game....
Great levels
Great Combat and Fluid Gameplay.
Good Story. -
Jun 20, 2021The flow of combat, the rhythm of movement, and the exhilaration of victory is what you get. Excellent story as well that doesn't get in the way of the experience--it enhances it.
-
Jun 21, 2021This game is tough and will make you want to smash your controller, but I am telling you, this game is worth it for the satisfaction of finally killing that one boss alone. So far, the enemy variety and the environments have been breathtaking. I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the Soulborne games, as this does have similarities.
-
Jun 21, 2021I would say give this a go regardless if you liked Souls or not, because frankly it's nothing like them, but also still incredible.

Jun 21, 2021Man oh man, Sekiro taught me the essence of patience. Best Fromsoft game currently.

-
Jun 21, 2021First I was like this game is impossible... I hate this... it's so damn hard. After endless hours of cursing, screaming and hitting your head on the wall I think I've got the hang of it and now I LOVE the game. Maybe it is something similar to Stockholm syndrome; you fell in love with your abuser or something. But now it's like the greatest thing ever!! I wish I could marry it!!
-
Jun 21, 2021Action game made by From Software. What else do you need to know. Its amazing of course it is.
-
Jun 21, 2021This got to be the best game of ever made. No doubt in my mind. Refreshing souls like gameplay, linear storyline and an actual developed character and backstory.
-
Jun 21, 2021Well wow! It's fresh it's fun, and it's still frustrating ( well typical Miyazaki fashion) lol. Bosses are always epic, and hard at the same time you still feel the pump and excitement when you beat a boss just like other soulsbornekiro game ( You see what i did there? Okay fine ignore it.)

Jun 21, 2021die simulation, although often die but this game makes me feel exciting, frustrated and slamming the controller. need patience and must dare to die first.
for the contents of game play is very good, the delivery of the story is easy to understand but it must really explore all the corners of the game.
really really like the character of a sekiro.
good job form software and activision -

Jun 21, 2021Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice? Well, its probably at least in my top three for From Software games.
-
Jun 21, 2021Love the setting of the game and the gameplay! Different from your typical Souls-like game.
-
Jun 21, 2021
-
Jun 21, 2021One of the best Stealth / Hack and Slash games to exist. Feels more like Onimusha than it does Demon Souls. Requires patience and rhythm style parrying in swordplay. Love the overall Japanese Aesthetic and Atmosphere. You truly feel like a badass Ninja once you master the mechanics.
-
Jun 21, 2021In a nutshell, it's part Souls part Tenchu. This is a fast-paced action-esque Souls-like game with some stealth and less emphasis on customisations and stats. On the other hand, it's a Tenchu with challenging combat plus a lot more boss fights.

Jun 22, 2021Sekiro: Weebs Die Twice is an action-adventure game developed by FromSoftware.
The game takes place in the the Sengoku period (1467-1600). Sekiro the One-armed Wolf is the main protagonist that is bound to protect a young lord named Kuro. -
Jun 22, 2021Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice: Dark Souls the Anime is an excellent game with exceptional, finely tuned combat and great level design that lets it stand above the rest of From Software's already outstanding catalouge.
-
Jun 22, 2021A stunning and incredible game. One of the most mechanically satisfying games I think I've ever played. It's hard but fair and aesthetically apes (sorry) the Ninja films of old. It won't be for everyone but I think it's telling that I completed it and instantly started a NG+. Will live with me for a while.
-
Jun 22, 2021Sekiro is truly a FromSoftware game. Great atmosphere, exploration and combat. The difficulty varies from hard to brutal - and you're awarded for playing an intense and aggressive style of combat.
-
Jun 22, 2021I have never been more in love with a game that punishes you as hard as Sekiro does.

Jun 23, 2021
-
Jun 23, 2021Fresh setting
- reduced RPG elements
- fast-paced combat
- hard bosses (some of the endgame bosses made me doubt I'd ever finish this game) -
Jun 23, 2021"Parry this you filthy casual" on a whole new level. Parrying death sim for the win.
-
Jun 23, 2021Remember when in Dark Souls 2 the monastery scimitar was broken and had 0 frames of startup on its parry animation? That's the main mechanic in this game, except when you land it, the enemy doesn't stop attacking, so you need to do about eight in a row.
-
Jun 23, 2021Just finished the game 50 hrs for me . It’s really satisfying when u beat the bosses and multiple ending with different final bosses for different endings . I just love the game .. combat , story , music everything. I’ve beaten final boss with luck involvement and ending that I got is not really great ! So time to play again!

-
Jun 23, 2021Everything is very simple: You don't learn mechanics - git gud. This is the best experience i ever got.
-
Jun 23, 2021A departure from the Soulsborne formula, while Sekiro has some of those features (Gourd seeds reminding Souls players of Estus flask upgrades for example) from Miyazaki's past games the entire experience is still brand new & was originally going to be another game in the Tenchu series.
-
Jun 23, 2021Extremely satisfying and rewarding combat with loads of different enemies and environments. The difficulty feels just right and the game introduces mechanics that you don't have to use but can be extremely useful if you find out how to use them correctly. Sekiro does not hold your hand so if you're looking for a relaxing breeze of an experience this game isn't for you.
-
Jun 23, 2021If u have already played ds series and bloodborne, u can have a try on this game. But once again Sekiro is way harder than other game made by Miyazaki. Just prepare to die endless times.
-
Jun 23, 2021Sekiro is fantastic, don't listen to the ridiculous negative reviews complaining about difficulty and so on. Those are the Souls babies that probably beat the trilogy by summoning 3 gank friends at every boss.

Jun 23, 2021It's a really difficult game, but it doesn't stop you enjoying from its great design and satisfying combat. Combat and boss fights are best parts. Unfortunately Sekiro is not a perfect game because of it stupid stealth mechanics and enemies AI.

Jun 27, 2021After a long time playing through Dark Souls 1,2&3 over and over again, slowly hollowing, FromSoftware rekindles my joy with the release of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and finally restores my humanity. Jokes aside. This game is beautiful, visually and gameplay wise. Love it.
-
Jun 27, 2021You can actually pause in this game. Something that the Dark Souls series never done before (even Bloodborne). Still a top-notch game 10/10.
-
Jun 27, 2021Il put it simply Its not Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. Its Sekiro Shadows Die Over 9000 Times.
Masochists will feel right at home xD. -
Jun 27, 2021A fantastic game. After thousands of hours poured into Demon's and Dark Souls... Sekiro might just top them all. Between the gorgeous Japanese setting and the precise, rewarding combat, this is a phenomenal standalone game well worth your time.
-
Jun 27, 2021
-
Jun 27, 2021By far one of the most addicting games I've played in awhile; Having to unlearn the dodge instinct from Dark souls and replace it with parrying took awhile, but boyyy was it worth it, and the game got increasingly more fun when played without the Dark Souls mindset
-
Jun 27, 2021The intensity of the combat in this game makes my ..... rock hard. Would recommend it to anybody who likes a little challenge.
-
Jun 27, 2021This game is great. I came into it expecting something a kin to dark souls and while the gameplay is totally different it has the same feeling which many other souls-likes lack. Its definitely a different game so those who wanted an RPG with stamina based combat will be disappointed but I implore anyone who has played and enjoyed a souls game to at least try it.

Jun 27, 2021Nothing feels better than learning fights like you were preping for an exam.
-
Jun 27, 2021Very challenging game with an in-depth story that honestly gave me ptsd. Soo difficult.
-
Jun 27, 2021This is a great game: Difficult, responsive controls, great level design, smooth performance.
-
Jun 27, 2021Overall, love it. Bosses can be annoying but i've been finding a way to kill em! mobs are fun once u get the pace of it. ( and the upgrades )interesting game though. better than i expected. nioh+bloodbourne.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
aaaaah...elden ring....
why , why can't you see...? -
Jun 29, 2021FromSoftware know they are the kings of gameplay, and Sekiro : Shadows Die Twice is proof of their confidence. Fascinating Japanese lore, unforgiving combat and beautiful scenery blend into a perfect cocktail you will hate getting addicted to.
-
Jun 30, 2021Gameplay wise, the game is excellent. The story is well told, and the lore surrounding the world already takes my interest. The world looks like feudal japan, a dark, gritty world. Full of blood, war and creatures you wouldn't expect. But in all its gritty, dark world building. In all of this, there are wonderful locations to be found. Secrets to discover.
-
Jun 30, 2021Sekiro certainly is a great game I enjoyed a lot. I can wholeheartedly recommend this game to anyone who is in search of a challenge, enjoys a Japanese setting or tight gameplay.

-
Jun 30, 2021By far the best and most complex combat in the series. The exclusion of all but one weapon choice allows for a lot of combat mechanics to revolve around that weapon. Setting is much less grand than the previous games, but still engaging and well crafted. The game is difficult, but all encounters have a trick to beating them.
-
Jun 30, 2021Will you die? yes. Will you like it when you shove your sword through the boss (mini-boss) that you were stuck on forever, it will be treasured. Until you see it again... ;-; will be glad to go through the game again and get every achievement again.
-
Jun 30, 2021Very Good Vidiya game not too difficult except for that facking ape boss which was annoying.
-
Jun 30, 2021There is nothing I can say here, it has been proven the best action game ever. Very Hard but really nice game and challenging.
-
Jun 30, 2021This is my first time completing a From Software game and it is perfect. I'm on my 3rd play through and have been enjoying every moment of it.
-
Jun 30, 2021The combat is so thrilling, intense, dynamic, tactical, satisfying and fluid that I find myself coming back to this game even after having beaten it 4 times 1 year ago and still enjoying it like the first time I played it.
-
Jun 30, 2021Every souls game have dodge and hit gameplay style you should play like that generally for finish the game but in this game deflect more important from physical dodge you can almost finish the game with only deflect acutally Sekiro isnt harder than other souls games there are just new mechanics and permanent katana.

Jun 30, 2021My friend told me that this game was easier than Dark Souls so I decided to play it. It was a huge challenge for me to adapt to it's settings but after some time it payed off in the end game.
Game is beautiful looking, quick paced combat and has some interesting story + lots of Japan mythology references. I recommend it from the bottom of my hearth.

Dec 17, 2024Overall, Sekiro is defined by its riveting, challenging, and ultimately highly rewarding gameplay. Stemming from simplicity but giving a wide variety of different combat options, few games come close to matching the exhilarating rush that Sekiro’s best moments provide. Exploring its atmospherically engrossing levels is a treat, from a visual, musical, and atmospheric standpoint. Even if exploration and character storylines are sometimes hampered by Dragonrot, repeatedly severing the immortality of bosses with brutal “Shinobi Executions” and discovering the ritual secrets of eternal life offers a captivating experience that stands out as one of FromSoftware’s best and most distinctive titles.
-
May 15, 2019Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an enjoyable, yet deeply challenging game. It's not really a Dark Souls with samurais game, but whether or not you enjoyed the difficulty level of the battles in Dark Souls will be a good benchmark in gauging how much you'll like Sekiro. If you're persistent, up for a challenge, and don't become frustrated easily, then Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an easy game to recommend.
-
Apr 28, 2019Though Sekiro feels impossibly hard at times, the level of euphoria you experience when delivering a death blow to a tricky boss or when you finally clear a castle grounds of all enemies is almost unparalleled.
