Jun 21, 2016Slow and clunky controls, uninspired level design and unfair difficult spikes make this game a title you're better off skipping, even as a hardcore Megaman fan. Treat yourself with some fangames - they're likely better.
-
Jun 21, 2016This game is a scam, it got a ridiculous amount of funding with nothing to show for it. Poor graphics, and framerate issues despite that, mediocre level design, terrible voice acting. Don't buy it.

May 26, 2021Un serio candidato a peor juego de la historia en dura pugna con E.T. de Atari y Superman 64. No creo exagerar.
-
Jun 27, 2022What breaks the heart is seeing just how unimaginative and mundane this game is.
-
Aug 12, 2016The game feels cheap and lazy. The graphics are muddy and ugly with sluggish game play that just isn't fun. With so much money and hype put into this game you have to wonder where it all went cause the end product feel like they cut every corner they could. Keiji Inafune already got to make his mega man with Mega Man X and you would be better off tracking down a copy of that game.

Jun 21, 2016I am crying like an anime fan on prom night after playing this game. Why did I even back this abomination? Deep Silver is on a row with releasing mediocre game after Homefront: The Revolution and Mighty No. 9 joins their lineup. This is not the Mega Man game we want. It is bland and boring. Should have used my money to back Yooka-Laylee or Bloodstrained instead.
-
Jun 21, 2016It's difficult to believe that 3 years and >$4,000,000 dollars went into funding this game. It doesn't look or play well. This will go down as one of the greatest crowdsource failures/disappointments of all time.

May 2, 2018Terrible, hard game aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Jun 21, 2016As a Kickstarter backer, my immediate thought is: "Man, all this time & all I want is my money back".
I've never made a game, & I don't have a good sense of what it costs to do so, but it apparently takes more than what they got to make a good one. -
Jun 24, 2016The scumbag creator / developer robbed everyone of their money, then ran his mouth saying that it's better than nothing. What a complete joke. Don't support anything that clown makes ever again.
-
Jun 23, 2016This game is soulless and boring. People gave them $4 million dollars, and you get this crap. I feel bad for those that bought the game. Some people are calling it amazing or decent, those people are in denial, because they just wasted money on a crappy game.

Jun 21, 2016I was honestly super disappointed with the end result of this game. It looks Keji Inafune is going to be the one crying like an anime fan on prom night. I honesty think I would've been happier buying the full version of Winrar than this pile of crap
-
Jun 22, 2016This game is **** trash dude. I waited 3 years for this funded them almost 1k for a slap in the face? I'm outraged to say the very least. I want my money back for this piss poor excuse of a game.
-
Jun 21, 2016Seriously, is this a game?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I'm very angry with Keiji Infaune. He made this poop for leaving Capcom, cancelling plenty of games, and Recore...trash discs continue appearing.
-
Jun 23, 2016This game is trash, the mechanics are awful the level design is boring the enemies are basic you get hit with cheap hits and the bosses are boring. AWFUL

Jun 21, 2016This is not a 4 million dollar product. But apparently the dev cares so little his response is "better than nothing" so I'm not going to care enough to write a full review either.
-
Jun 21, 2016It cost them $4 million dollars and over a YEAR of delays to release this game.
Day 1 DLC, PS1 graphics, bland and entirely uninspired gameplay, and no respect for the consumer.
0. You get nothing, just like how I paid money, for nothing.
"It's better than nothing" - Inafune
We both know that's a load of crap, friend. You pissed it all away. -

Jun 27, 20164 million dollars from fans, selling out to a publisher, and several delays later we get a mediocre at best game. This is much worse than nothing. It is an insult to Kickstarter and fans.

Sep 27, 2018What a travesty. Alright, it had redeeming qualities, but it was really an awful game with bad level design and downgraded graphics, yeah it will certainly not be remembered as a good game by many, thankfully.
The worst about this game, is that it looked so great, but unfortunately it came out as unfinished with poor controls and mediocre level design. -
Jun 21, 2016I mainly bought this game so I can see the pizza looking explosions. It makes me hungry just seeing it. To be honest, I got more enjoyment eating a box of pizza than playing this game.

Dec 1, 2016It's so pervasively dull. Where other prominent throwbacks have recaptured the beating heart of the games that inspired them, Mighty No. 9’s familiar pieces are thrown together without a driving vision. Hopefully the super fighting robot’s next successor is more worthy.

CD-ActionSep 17, 2016Here’s an idea: let’s just try to forget this ever happened. [09/2016, p.60]

Edge MagazineAug 26, 2016This is very much Inafune by numbers, a Mega Man game in all but name, and not a particularly good one. [Issue#296, p.118]
