Jun 21, 2016This game feels just like playing a new Megaman X title, with some extra features.
Some backgrounds feel a bit bland, and the voice acting is terrible at times but all in all, I'm having a great time! -
Jun 21, 2016I don't know what you're complaining about. This is Megaman in 2.5D. It's a mindless, fun game.
What were you expecting, a blockbuster, cinematic game a la Uncharted? -

Jan 15, 2020This game is really fun. Picked it up physical for £2.99. It c as me with an art book, a double sided poster and a code to download a digital game manual. It so sad that people hate on this game, its lots of fun. Coming from a classic mega man fan. Guys give it a shot. You will be surprised.

Jun 22, 2016This has gotten a lot of bad press, but I got out of it exactly what I was expecting. A new megaman game. The controls are tight, the levels fun and the bosses interesting and fairly smart. People can nerd-rage all they want, but they delivered exactly what they they promised, even if it took them a while.

Jun 21, 2016It's just a good game. It's not perfect, but what did you expect? Super Mario 3D world? It's good continuation of mega man series. I love this game.

Jun 21, 2016The game is a lot of fun, the critics are wrong, so wrong!! Mega man fans should play the game before they judge it. The controls are tight, I have not noticed any frame rate drops after many hours of play, I even like the graphics!!

Jun 22, 2016I'm a really big fan of the megaman series and this game is simple, fresh, challenging and entertaining, just like the original megaman. People celebritize developers and media creates a great deal of bandwagon. Mighty No.9 is a great game and I hope it's a fresh boot to a new series.

Jun 21, 2016I think the low ratings are undeserved. "Critics" are bashing a game with a relatively low budget that came from an indie studio. As someone who grew up on Mega Man as a kid this game is very nostalgic and a blast to play. I guess hating on it is what the "cool" thing to do. If you were expecting a blockbuster game you weren't gonna get it with this genre/budget. I personally have enjoyed it.

Jun 6, 2020This is a spiritual successor to Mega Man, not a rip-off because it was made by the creator of Mega Man Keiji Inafune.

Dec 1, 2016It's so pervasively dull. Where other prominent throwbacks have recaptured the beating heart of the games that inspired them, Mighty No. 9’s familiar pieces are thrown together without a driving vision. Hopefully the super fighting robot’s next successor is more worthy.

Edge MagazineAug 26, 2016This is very much Inafune by numbers, a Mega Man game in all but name, and not a particularly good one. [Issue#296, p.118]
