Mighty No. 9 is an all-new Japanese side-scrolling action game that takes the best aspects of the 8- and 16-bit era classics you know and love, and transforms them with modern tech, fresh mechanics, and fan input into something fresh and amazing!

You play as Beck, the 9th in a line of powerful robots, and the only one not infected by a mysterious computer virus that has caused mechanized creatures the world over to go berserk. Run, jump, blast, and transform your way through six stages (or more, via stretch goals) you can tackle in any order you choose, using weapons and abilities stolen from your enemies to take down your fellow Mighty Number robots and confront the final evil that threatens the planet!

Once, you worked together, side-by-side but now, your fellow Mighty No. robots have lashed out, taking over key strategic locations across the globe and infesting them with their minions. You have no choice: the other Mighty Numbers...Must. Be. Destroyed!
But it wont be easy. Although they were originally designed for industrial purposes, the Mighty Numbers have all become fierce warriors, seasoned through seasons in the most popular spectator sport of the future: robot-on-robot combat in the Battle Colosseo!

It ends up being frustrating or boring rather than challenging or interesting. To top it off, the graphics look like they were from PS2's prime which must just be an homage to the fact that this is not "what Mega Man was supposed to be" and not even a Mega Man reboot, but a shoddy rip-off like the sports jerseys you get on eBay for $20. That's honestly a better investment. A shirt can keep you warm, this game will likely just piss you off and leave you disappointed. Expand

This undoubtedly has to be the worst game and port I have ever played.
First of all, the story is boring with how's it's directed in which alienates what it tries to be.
Second, the game-play is utter garbage with bad level design, dumb bosses, bad controls, bad power ups, and bad layouts.
Third, the voice acting for the English language sounds too cheesy especially for most of the bosses, people, and the protagonist.
Fourth, the performance on the PS3 is terrible with the lack of optimization with the effects, ugly graphics, and crazy lag spikes when playing with most parts of the game.
Fifth, this game is a waste of money and time.
If I were you I wouldn't buy this game no matter the price and just stick to the mega-man games because they're a lot better than this piece of crap.
