Mar 26, 2017People with too high expectations from the previous series and complaints about bugs that will be ironed out. The game is solid, combat is fun, characters aren't as great as previous series but too many people are comparing the 2 separate series characters which are entirely different. This is a new series in Mass Effect, time to look at it with new eyes.

Mar 22, 2017Yeah, ok.... this is not the game we expected..... but 0/10 ..... CALM DOWN. Mass effect Andromeda is ok. like Mass effect 1, Andromeda start a new ''trilogy" , so the story is not perfect but the gameplay is very funny. Animation sucks.

Apr 3, 2017This is what happens when devs are more concerned about diversity, inclusivity and other sjw stuff when developing the game, that making a good game itself
Sadly the old bioware is gone -

Mar 27, 2017My review was taken down for stating that the male character looks like your typical "man" of today, emasculated and queer looking. Everyone else is focusing on how ugly the women are and that does not get taken down. The real thing that they don't want you to realize and wake up from is that men should not look like the main male character from this game.

Mar 23, 2017Did you like Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2? Do you want to play more of the same, with some weird graphical challenges, bad face animations, solid co-op, and a passable story? If yes - then this is for you. If not - then this is not for you. I'm happy with my purchase, but it's my kind of game. Otherwise I'd recommend picking it up at $40.

Mar 21, 2017The first 3 games weren't any good, and this game is easily the worst of the bunch. I have never been so bored playing a game that I stopped early and deleted it. Bioware has let down gamers.

Mar 25, 2017I really question how people can justify anything under a 5 on this game. I understand that it may not be as good as the first installments but come on guys. This has enough of the ingredients to enjoy regardless of whether you're playing it for the first time or you're a seasoned vet. Keyboard warriors in full effect with this one.

Mar 26, 2017Very poor executed title, i feels rushed. I had a good laugh playing to hours of this game. Animations are broken, I cant even take this game serious. This is not what I expect from a mass effect game.

Mar 28, 2017EA just rushes games out to make as much money as possible. This game is proof of that. It's incredibly buggy and unpolished. They probably thought it would sell anyway because its called mass effect

Mar 24, 2017As a mass effect game, it might be the worst in the series but as a stand alone PS4 game it's a pretty solid one. A lot of improvements from the previous ones in terms of explorations. However, the dialogue choices can be annoying when the summary doesn't end up being what you intended.

Mar 23, 201710/10 just for all the butt hurt bigots who hate the liberals and all that
Next they'll be shouting make Bioware great again. Sad little boys and their tears over the 'SJW agenda' make everything better -
Mar 23, 2017This game is simply amazing. It's Mass Effect through and through and i love it! Characters, worlds, everything fits. And Ryder is funny character (if you want him to be -)). I'm not sure, what is the problem that many people see on this game, probably just theirs minds. Stop talking, start fighting for a new home.

Mar 22, 2017This game is beautiful. Wonderful characters, beautiful locations, interesting story. And I like the appearance of Sarah. Yes. The problem is animation. If patch fix this, game will be rly cool and handsome. And game need more content for gay, more content for LI, like it was in DAI.
I love this game series and I want to continue. -
Mar 22, 2017For whatever reason, people are treating this game as it is a part of the original trilogy. It's not. Get over it. This game is, on its own, truly great. There are some problems with animations, but the actual game is wonderful. I'm also happy that enemies actually have health now, as opposed to every headshot knocking them off the Earth.

Mar 23, 2017From the lack of options for character creation, to the slow moving story, this game seems very rushed. I am a very big fan of Mass Effect 1-3, but this barely compares. Not a fan, would not recommend.

Jun 26, 2017Forget about the technical problems. The game is worse than average. Indie RPGS, action RPGS, Sci-fi _____ (insert whatever game) are better than this. Pointless dialogs, shoved in. Uninteresting characters, boring quests, boring crew, boring galaxy. The villain is a joke. Immersion: scraping paint from a rusty bucket is more immersive and fun.
-
Apr 3, 2017Simply amazing, i love totally this game, and multiplayer look so cool, some bugs, but still funny and excellent game, graphics, gameplay, etc., with frosbite now look better.

Apr 3, 2017There's definitely alot wrong presentation wise with dull graphics aswell as some clunky dialogue at times and aweful glitches but overall I personally enjoyed the game. Most of these 0-5 arej ust troll reviews so don't trust them. For me its a 7.5 (8 if they fix the graphics and glitches, hell I'd go further if the dlc is good) but I understand if people go down to a 6 though.

Mar 23, 2017Just terrible, worst thing about this game for me is that I spent $70 for the deluxe edition... Bugs galore, ugly ugly disgusting looking characters, pushing some weird SJW agenda, terrible voice acting and snorefest story. The game play is nothing new and is reminiscent of ME1 but its okay passable, however ME is supposed to be character and story driven which is where this game failed.

Mar 28, 2017This is what happens when you focus more on promoting sjw propaganda and diversity hires over actually making a decent video game. This is complete and utter garbage.

Mar 22, 2017Excellent game those who put notes of 0 is because they have not played the game is not a perfect game but neither is at the level of no man's sky that if it was a bad game.
-
Mar 26, 2017Brilliant game, great story. Character models ARE a bit....ugly, but you have to be pretty superficial to let yourself be distracted from what's a fantastic game. Can't wait for the next one. And who knows, maybe they'll even patch the character models in the mean time :)

Mar 27, 2017i can say after 30 hours in this game is great, though yea there are bugs but most games these days have bugs, yea it's not as good as 1 or 2 but im yet to find a game other then DAO/DAA, that i find more fun (NOTE: im yet to play witcher 3).
Gameplay: 10
story: 6.5
Art/graphics: 7 (sometimes drops to a 5)
multiplayer: 9
Characters: 8.5
animation: a janky 6.5 -
Mar 23, 2017Other than the story being written by SJW idiots the combat is okayish.. RPG elements are there but still lacks that ME magic.. However it is a serious waste of $60.. wait for a cheap sale.

Mar 24, 2017I have played this game on the XBOX one on EA access and on the PS4 and I have had a great time playing this game. I have not seem the facial issues that most are complaining about, I will say this game's story is just like mass effect 2 and 3 and Dragon Age Inquisition so if you enjoyed those games, you would enjoy this game.
-
Jun 13, 2017It's perhaps the biggest and most expensive to produce 7/10 game there is. After patches, that is, because before 1.06 it was unplayable. Story is slow and mediocre, combat is repetitive and kind of tedious, there's definitely too much pointless running around (Kadara and the elevator, FFS). In general it's a decent game, but it's much, much, much below expectations.
-
Mar 24, 2017This is what happens when EA and SJWs put their best effort into a game...might buy if it becomes free...and I want a good laugh....or I want to scare children with Ryder or whatever that thing is called.

May 13, 2017Really have enjoyed the game. I don't understand the negativity it has received at all. People keep citing facial animations. Mass Effect has never been known for "great" animations.
I don't see this game being less than an 8.

Oct 19, 2017It might be the biggest, most complex and action packed game in the franchise, but Mass Effect: Andromeda is also the least convincing one. The dated facial animations, the inconsistent writing quality and the regularly occurring bugs take you out of the experience too often. On top of that, BioWare has not used the concept of a whole new universe to its full potential, which often makes it feel like Mass Effect: Andromeda has not left our Milky Way at all.
-
Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaJul 7, 2017While it’s underwhelming in places, there’s a lot to like as you venture into the weirder parts of Andromeda. Frequent technical issues hamper the experience a bit, as does an uninspiring main story. [June 2017, p66]
-
Games Master UKJun 6, 2017A welcome, if slightly patch return for Mass Effect. The script has problems, but combat is bloody brilliant. [May 2017, p.62]
